I do not know where to start with this review. Read this as it wraps up this series beautifully, with all the characters you have grown to love all appearing in the chapters of the conclusion to the Decoy Series. Read this as a stand alone for an angst filled, will they/won't they romance. Max is a man whore, a rock star and a drop dead gorgeous sex on legs hottie. Maisy is his best friend, successful in her own right and beautiful. Together can they be the next rock star romance success story or should they remain friends? Can Max change his ways, he seems fo think so but will he convince Maisy?
" For the right woman I would. I'd protect her with my life and let nothing hurt her, not even me."
This follows their journey as they acknowledge their true feelings and follow their desire. Love is never easy though and you can't choose your family...no spoilers here but don't worry karma is a bitch and we will catch up on that in another book!
The ending had me crying happy tears...it's beautifully written, and crafted with love for the characters and their endings. This book has it all; drama, romance, panty melting sex scenes, twists and turns that shock! I loved every word and recommend this series to everyone who enjoys a good rocker romance...or to those who feel like a change ;)

2.5 Friends to Lovers Stars

Max and Maisy are good friends. He wants her but she see’s him for the manwhore that he is. He has finally decided to get his girl, but her evil sister messes things up for him and he almost loses the one woman that he loves.
This story is a bit more interesting and easier to read than the other books in the series. No secret baby in this book, but the evil sister trope was pulled out of storage for this one. Like the others before it, this is an ok read .

My favourite of the series. Maisy and Max's friends to lovers story grabbed me from the start and wouldn't let me go.
The uncertainties of starting a relationship that could ruin their friendship, coupled with Max's history with women makes this an interesting read with lots of verbal sparring between them. Add in Maisy's sister, Lauren, who is all set on taking Max for herself at all costs and you have a thrill a minute read. Who needs enemies with a sister like Lauren?
This was a fitting end to this series and I will miss the hot men of Decoy and the strong women who captured their hearts.

Rockstar’s Temptation is the final book in K.T. Fisher’s Decoy series, and in my opinion, she definitely saved the best until last!
I absolutely loved Max and Maisy’s storyline. It was packed with drama that completely grabbed my attention and held it from beginning to end. I didn’t feel like I really knew Max going into this story, but that quickly changed as his character developed. Max and Maisy are perfect for each other, even though they have a very bumpy road to navigate before reaching their HEA.
Lauren adds an extra layer to the story and brings out some darker emotions in the reader. I’m definitely intrigued by her character and will have to read her story to find out what’s really going on with her.
The bonus scene was the perfect way to wrap up the series - I absolutely loved it and felt it brought everything to a satisfying conclusion.
While I have a few minor niggles about the series overall, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the stars of Decoy, along with their leading ladies and friends.

I loved these books I got the first two books a few years ago then it came up on my Kindle with the other three books and I'm so glad they were everything I knew they would be. If you have not looked at these books well you must you want be disappointed.

Maisy has been close friend with Max for a while now. They hang out together and party together. Maisy has never had a problem with the way Max is. When her younger sister Lauren comes home for Maisy surprise birthday party she stirs things up between Max and Maisy leaving them questioning what is going on between them. Will Lauren’s meddling tear these two apart or will it make them see what is really going on between them?

The only friend who knows what Lauren did to Maisy when they were in high school is Tanya. Tanya flat out tells her friends not to invite Lauren but they don’t listen as she offers up no reason not to. Once Lauren is back in town she sees fit to go after what Maisy has. Lauren’s meddling makes Maisy realize that Max and her are more than just friends. Maisy has no idea what Max feels but when Lauren shows interest in Max, Maisy warns him to stay away from her.
Max is enjoying the rock star life he has and his close friend Maisy is there for him when he needs her. He’s a carefree, strong alpha male who is used to getting any woman he wants. Now with his band mates all settled down and having children, he the only one who is interested in the groupies and partying. When Maisy’s friends go to his place to plan her surprise party Max is more than willing to help out. He also has his own plans to surprise her. Once Lauren and meets Max, she becomes relentless in her attempts to get him to sleep with her but they all fail, but not without Maisy showing up at the wrong time. Lauren doesn’t take no for an answer no matter how many times he brushes her off. Max can’t stand that this is hurting her and realizes how they are much more than just close friends.
Lauren is the typical younger sister who is jealous of her old sister and wants what she can’t have. She takes advantage that her mother sees her as a perfect little angel and uses it whenever she can to screw Maisy over. Her going after Max is not the first time Lauren has crossed the line and unlikely to be the last.
This is the fourth and final of the books Decoy series and K. T. Fisher ended the series perfectly. The drama Lauren causes between Max and Maisy kept me wondering just how far will she go to ruin her sister’s relationships. Once the rest of the crew found out what Lauren was like they did everything they could to support Maisy like any family would. The way this group of characters care for and look after each other is heart-warming. This book had me hooked from the start. Max with a bunch of woman planning a surprise party is something you don’t want to miss. K. T. Fisher gave her readers a bonus chapter in this book so we could see what how each band member’s family turned out. I always want to know how things turn out in the end for the characters in the series. K. T. Fisher gave her readers just that in the bonus chapter. I have to say this is one of my favorite rock star series and I highly recommend the series to anyone who loves to read romance novels.

HOLY SMOKE I just finish reading this book, and I have to say that I love it, love the characters, and I love the ending of it, I really love and enjoy reading this series, I have to say that reading this book, it made Mad, Cried, and be a little Hurt, but I love every single minute of it, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.
Let me just say that their so much going on in this book, This is Max and Maisy story, if you had read the first three book, than you had all ready met Max and Maisy, and if you haven't read it than get to it.
Max and Maisy have being fiends for a while, their friendship turn into them being best friend, but Max have being hiding his real feeling for Maisy, when the girl throw her a surprise birthday party, Maisy cant believe it that Max agree to that, but Maisy was more surprise to find her sister Lauren their, the sister that she cant stand, when Maisy see her sister flirting with Max she is surprise to have the feeling that she gets, but she gets more surprise about the kiss that Max give her, after that night Maisy and Max friendship start to get complicate, but Max is done hiding his feeling for her, and Maisy is ready to take on the feelings that she have for him, but her sister keeps getting in the way, will Max and Maisy finally will let their feeling for each other lose.
I have to say that I did not like the character of Lauren, Maisy sister I couldn't stand her, I did not like the way she was acting, a sister don't act like that at all.
I love the way how Max and Maisy are with each other, I love how Max is always their for her, and how protective he is of her, I love the chemistry that Max and Maisy have, and the sex scene are hot.
I really love and enjoy reading this series, I love it how the band are still together and acts like a family, love it how the girls act like sisters, and love it more how you get to know what's going on with the rest of the couples, I jut love the book and the sires, Author K.T. Fisher THANK YOU FOR THIS AWESOME CHARACTERS AND THIS AMAZING WONDERFUL SERIES LOVE IT.

This is the fourth and final book in the Decoy series and it doesn’t disappoint! K T Fisher has created a sexy world of rockers and the women who love them. Each book is about a different couple but the characters from previous books cross over into each other, so I suggest you read them in order.
Maisy and Max are best friends. They are close but Max has feelings for Maisy that run much deeper than friendship. Maisy loves Max, but lately she’s also feeling a little bit more than friendship when she thinks about him. Neither wants to ruin a beautiful friendship, but can they both deny what their hearts are telling them? Maisy’s friends persuade Max to let them use his home to throw a birthday party for her which goes great till trouble walks through the door by the name of Lauren, Maisys sister. She despises her sister; you will find out why when you read the book, and knows nothing good will come of her being here. Lauren has always gone after what other people have and she’s going after Max! Max is done hiding his feelings for Maisey and after a kiss, the friendship they both love is changing gears as they start facing their feelings and fears. Even though sister dearest gets in the way at every turn, their love grows.
This is great read. The other characters featured throughout are a family and they look out for each other, and come together when needed. The banter between them all was a joy to read and had me laughing! Max oozes sex appeal. He is loyal and extremely protective of Maisy. They have a great chemistry that grabs you from the very beginning, and the sex scenes! They are so hot which only cements further the deep passion between these two. I will leave it here as I don’t want to give anything away!

The fourth instalment in the Decoy series by K T Fisher gives us our favourite band members facing life with the band getting recognition in America and seeing guitarist Max Lawson and close friend Maisy Ashford face the life long question that many people face: should we be more than friends??
Max, the charming, gorgeous and notorious playboy Decoy guitarist, has always had a good friendship with Maisy. She's friends with the other band members and their wives and is a successful architect in her own right. She has no need of his fame, wealth or status. Maisy has no hidden agenda, they've always got on well and have an easiness around each other. But, what happens when the lines of friendship are crossed and your tempted to take things further?
Maisy is the level headed sensible one, she doesn't want to risk her friendship with Max. But, with a sister who is hell bent on coveting all she has whatever the cost, Maisy has some tough decisions to make: Stay friends with Max and see him with other women or date him and risk being another conquest and be heartbroken when they can't be friends anymore if he's tempted by another. Maybe this one time the temptation will be life changing for all involved one way or another?
We see another side to the playful, charming Max in this book. A fiercely loyal, caring, domineering and protective side. One that will melt your heart and set the pages alight whilst he and Maisy fight the temptation to be together.
This tale takes us on the journey of discovering if what your heart truly desires is worth all the pain, tragedy and heart break that life can throw at you whatever the ultimate cost.
I adore this series and I'm always happy to have a catch up with the other members too during each book, we have Tanya and Jax who add brilliant one liners and Sophia is a force to reckoned with this time!! I'm sure the epilogue will give many of us that little bit extra that will be a fitting farewell to the series.

For anyone who has been following this series, you know how pretty amazing it is. And how eagerly we have been waiting Max and Maisy's story, and OMG what a story.
I am not telling you anything about this, my lips are sealed. The only thing I will tell you is OMG HOW HOT IS MAX. This book will make you want to scream and shout. Mainly at Lauren!!!! This book is a book that will get you out of any book funk( when you have lost the will to read anything.) Do not read this when you know you are going to get interrupted, I had started to reading it, then tried to read it on my lunch break, not a good idea let me tell you, you will want to read this straight through without stopping.
KT Fisher has done an amazingly fantastic job of writing this story. When I had read it I was a bit lost. It stayed with me long after I had read it. If you haven't read this series, get reading it wont disappoint.
This is a book that transports you into the world of rock stars. It plays out in your head loud and bright, its hard to remember that it's a book and not a film.
I will say I cant wait for Karma

FIVE FREAKING ALPHA MALE STARS!!!! I loved all of the Decoy men up to this point but I have to say that Max and Maisy's story is probably my favorite!! I love love love when and Alpha male realizes that his heart belongs to one woman and his determination to capture her in his heart forever becomes the forefront of his brain. The alpha jumps off the pages of this book in an effortlessness that only K.T. can portray. Maisy is probably my favorite Decoy girl she has to overcome so much with her parents and her sister and she is risen above and beyond it all and with a gigantic heart to boot. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for any of her friends or family. The chemistry between these two is unreal and I could not get enough of them. I devoured this book in one sitting and was up until early morning because I just had to see the conclusion to this amazing love story. This book also has the rest of the Decoy characters that you have, like me already fallen in love with. This is the conclusion of the Decoy series (for now) but I have to tell you that the epilogues in this book are written with the completeness that you crave, but also they leave you wanting more from all of the characters. I loved this book and I cannot wait for more! (hint hint) get back in that writing cave miss K.T.!!!

I absolutely loved this book!
This is the last book in the Decoy series (and the one I read first)
Let me start by saying that I started this on release day (at midnight) and I couldn't put it down, I think I finished it at about half 3 and had work the next day (not a great day but totally worth it).
Max and Maisy have been friends for about a year and a half but recently they have both been feeling an attraction towards each other that neither really want to admit.
Max see's his future when he looks at Maisy but Maisy is weary due to Max's man whore ways.
When Max decides to go for it, can he win Maisy round and prove that for her he will stop his sleeping around?
Throw in a bitch of a sister, a mother blinkered to one of her children's behaviour, a wonderfully close group of friends and some events that will have your emotions running all over themselves and the end result is a fast paced, page turning read that you will be recommending to all of your friends.
Written from both POV's this book will take you through a range of emotions, from laughing out loud to shouting at your kindle.
Brilliantly written and a solid 5* read for me... Well done KT Fisher on producing a fantastic story

I was lucky enough to receive an Arc of Rockstar's Temptation. I have loved every book in this series but Jax has always been my favourite but now Max has taken the spot I Loved him.
If you have read the other 3 books you would have already met Max and Maisy, Their book is definitely my fave.
They have been good friends for quite a while, but Max has always been attracted to Maisy but hid his feelings, Then Masiy starts looking at Max different. There is something there between them but Maisy tries to ignore them because she know Max has a bit of a reputation of being a man whore and she has been hurt in the past.

It's the classic story of best friends falling in love... with a twist. Max is a famous rocker that has a reputation for being a playboy. Maisy is a smart, successful, and little bit naive woman that knows better than to get involved with her best friend. There's no way he could ever be faithful and it would ruin not only their friendship but their whole group of friends.
This is definitely the best book in this series and it's a lot steamier. Even the opening scene is a sex scene. And, boy, does Max know how to work the sex scenes!
I loved Maisy's sweet quiet personality that had a little bit of bite when needed... and Max's personality that was a little bit of alpha with a little bit of Prince Charming and a whole lot of porn star.
All in all, this was a great book... and after reading what she is working on next for one of these characters... I'm super excited to see what she comes up with.

Let's hear it for Max and Maisy! Finally these two got their acts together and became more than just friends.. Not that it was an easy road to begin with but they made an incredible journey to get to the end of the street together.
Max, yeah he's your typical Rock God and all that he streams hot sex where ever he goes. Maisy who is his best friend definitely has her act together. You know the type "Long Cool Woman". So what is the issue here with these two...Should they remain friends or should they become lovers. Let's not forget that Max the Rock Star God can he change and be able to be with the one woman that has always been there for him or is he afraid to give up his lifestyle as a rockstar.
This is the 4th book in the Decoy series and it was such a great book with these two characters. K.T.'s storyline was very well thought out and written to the "T" as to where Max and Maisy will go with each other.

Max is the biggest whore of decoy and the last person you would ever think could be faithful... But since being back in the UK and meeting Maisy.... Maybe just maybe he could change....
Maisy is the quiet one of the girls who avoids drama at all costs.... Since Jax is back in Kendal's life, Max as become her best friend.... and the thought of crossing the friendship line with him scares her because she has so much to lose but just maybe so much more to gain.......
In true Decoy fashion... Declaration of love is never a easy ride... There's drama, tension, screwing and tears.
I adored Max and Maisy story and was routing for them to find their happy ending from the beginning and held on tight for their rough ride...
K. T. Fisher has yet again grown as a writer in this book and will hook you in till you have devoured the book....

This is Maisy and Max's story of friendship and love. These two characters are so perfect for each other. Maisy always sees the groupies going for the band members of Decoy. Max has had his fair share of women but now he wants Maisy. He needs to prove to Maisy that she is it for him, but Maisy's sister shows up and nothing good comes from Lauren being around. She has already hurt Maisy and Tanya when they were younger. She is not to be trusted. True to herself, Lauren wants what Maisy has and that's Max. Max doesn't want her but he does fall for her tricky ways, and this causes Maisy to leave, with Max behind her. Then the unthinkable happens in front of Max and he blames himself for the accident. Maisy's car is hit hard. Her injuries are serious and Max does everything to help Maisy heal and then he can claim her as his. This such a touching love story. I give this 4 stars.

I never thought Maisy and Max were going to get together, even though I wanted them to. I always thought they'd just be friends, but I was wrong. They were very good friends at one time and with their closest friends coupled up to each other, they found themselves spending a lot of time together.
I do have to say Max, a former renown man whore, did some things when Maisy began to take up residence in his head that had me disgusted and bewildered. That's right, bewildered because I didn't understand how he could be liking/falling for someone and doing what he was doing. Luckily he realized the same thing and got his act together.
I loved seeing everyone from past books and their families. If it's one thing I loved about all of the books in this series, it was how important and close everyone was to one another. They truly supported each other to the fullest. I must say I wouldn't mind reading about Finley and some of the other kids as grown ups.

Wow! The fourth and last book in the Decoy Series does not disappoint and I was so so pleased that Maisy and Max got their own story and these two have been teasing me and every reader in the other books. Max and Maisy are brilliant characters and I loved their story. I hated Lauren her sister for causing the trouble that she did. It was a nightmare and I felt so sorry for Maisy having a sister who wants whatever Maisy has. There was a part in this story that really brought me to tears. There are lots of ups and downs for Maisy and Max and their relationship is no easy sailing and at times I wasn’t sure that they would get together. They both find it hard to express themselves and because they are best friends Maisy seems like she is scared to cross that line. An absolutely brilliant book and I was completely hooked from the start. Highly recommend and you won’t be disappointed.

I loved this book! An amazing conclusion to a brilliant series. I completely loved these characters, Max and Maisy hooked me in right from the frisky opener until the close. The bonus chapter was a great way to round things off.
Max and Maisy are good friends but both of them have feelings that they can't admit to the other in fear of ruining their friendship but things come to a head when Maisy's witch of a sister arrives. Will Max and Maisy explore their feelings or is it too late?
The whole book is like a happy hug, full of characters I've grown to love in the previous instalments coupled with drama to keep the story marching along. I am sorry to see this series go but they'll be reread in the future.

I was thankful for Maisey and Max's story! I have been wanting them together from the beginning, and knew it would take a while for them ot come together. Longer than I had hoped of course. Sometimes for a good relationship to come out in a book it takes a while, I'm a patient girl.
I got all four books for an honest opinion. I'll go through and write all the reviews slowly but surely.
Max had been one of my favorites. The goofy friend who had been there for everyone and the one that I wanted to settle down. Maisey was the girl who was always helping everyone with their houses and I loved that. All their friendships worked beautifully together.
Max and Maisey are my favorite relationship. Five freaking big rockstar, stars!

Wow Wow Wow! Max and Maiseys story is amazing.
These two are the best of friends but what happens when friendship starts to turn into something else. When Max starts to take an interest In Maiseys sister Lauren when she arrives in town Maisey feels a little of the green eyed monster rear its head are her feelings for Max maybe a little stronger than she is letting on is there a chance that maybe Max feels the same way but thinks he doesn't stand a chance where the beautiful Maisey is concerned. There are lots of ups and downs for them and just when you think it's all going to work out tragedy strikes will they ever get their HEA?
I great epilogue and Decoy bonus chapter finish off this series perfectly.

Hands down the best book of the series! Absolutely loved it. This was a very emotional book and I fell hook, line and sinker for Max (I love him more than Jax!) It was amazing to read Max and Maisy come together and overcome every obstacle thrown at them. I got the sense that their love was stronger than the other characters because of what Maisy went through.
