I was contacted by the author to see if I'd be interested in reading this story for her.. I wasn't sure if I would get it done in time for release day and she was totally understanding and only cared if I reviewed it.. this is one thing I LOVE about indie authors who understand we still have a life outside of books. So once I finished up some other books. I turned to this one...
Well I will say I LOVED this story! This is a dark romantic tragedy read that will rip your heart out.
The first quote that hooked me was "I had Kraven to protect me; that was all that mattered in my world." Omg swoon, she saw past him!
The dynamic between Kraven and Brynn is amazing and I'm totally here to see where they go!
But....
What the hell was that ending 😭😭😭

I KNEW my heart would be tore out, I still wasn’t prepared. This is one that’s going to stick with me and I desperately need more.
The author had warnings about the no hea. It does hurt, but I will read anything this author writes. The writing is beautiful and omg this book was so emotional and intense. I absolutely love Brynn so much.

I wasn’t prepared for Kraven, My Savior.
I thought I knew what I was getting into… but this book ruined me.
It’s dark, it’s twisted, and it broke my heart in the best and worst way.
Kraven is the kind of man you know you should run from, but Brynn didn’t. And watching it all unfold? Painfully addicting.
This isn’t a love story. It’s a tragedy dressed as one.
And I’ll be thinking about that ending until I get book 2.

WARNING: NO HEA
The writing style was so smooth and easy to read that pulled me in right away! I fell in love with the two main characters, Kraven and Brynn. I loved how Kraven’s soft spot for Brynn developed in the book. This is a well-written, beautifully tragic book and the story it told will stay with me for a loooong time.

Wow..
I just finished the book and I’m honestly speechless.. I got way too invested in Kraven and Brynn and completely fell in love with them, totally forgetting this wasn’t going to be a happy ending. Haha oops.. The writing style was so smooth and easy to read! it fully pulled me in right away, and I ended up finishing it in just a few hours!
I absolutely loved Kraven’s soft spot for Brynn and how their relationship developed, and of course, Brynn’s amazing personality!!
That ending tho.. I’m heartbroken! Please im begging you give me the second book already 😭😭

Ohhhhhh!! This was SO GOOD! I was bracing myself the whole book for the tragic ending and still was unprepared for that twist!!! 🫠🫠🫠
If you’re a fan of no hea, i encourage you to read this!! That ending was!!!!!!!!
We have a (very) obsessive mmc & a very innocent fmc that are forbidden to be together.
Our MMC, Kraven, knows everything about the Brynne before they’ve properly met. He was meant to kill her but falls in love instead!!!! Eeeep i love when this happens hahahahah
Throughout the story you watch their love grow and understand why they really shouldn’t be together.
But just when you think there’s a solution to their problem, BAM, tragedy.
But not in the way you’d think!!!!
This is book 1 in an expected trilogy!!!

I liked the idea of the tragic story but it did not deliver for me, and the writing needs a lot of work.
