The series continues in the final installment of this spellbinding middle-grade series from debut fantasy author Isabelle Knight…
Darkness is coming.
Ravena wields the Shadow Staff. The true traitor has stepped from the shadows. And the Lady of Ravens has a plan ready to shatter everything.
With the fate of the kingdoms resting on her shoulders, Elenora and her friends will have to race against time to find a shattered orb – whose power could either save or destroy the kingdoms – with the help of a spirit trapped within a crystal who may or may not be what she seems.
The fate of the kingdoms hangs in the balance, and to save them, Elenora will have to face what being a hero truly means – or let darkness destroy them all.
Isabelle Knight is the middle-grade fantasy author of the Enchantria series, which she began writing at age ten and published sometime later in her life. A lifelong book and cat lover, she now resides in a book-filled apartment surrounded by countless stuffed pandas and enough books to start her own bookstore. When she's not writing about creepy shadows, daring heroines, and magical adventures, she's talking about books, writing, and doing writerly ramblings on her blog and YouTube channel.

I was sent the ARC version of this book in exchange for an honest review. Enchantria: The Last Hope was...well...enchanting. I flew through it in a day, because this book had me hooked by the first chapter. I love Isabelle Knight's writing style. Every single chapter ended in a cliffhanger that made me want to keep reading, and the amount of detail in every word was amazing, making it so easy for me to imagine the scenes. The pacing was almost perfect all the way through. Most of the book was just fast enough to keep me hooked, but slow enough that the events felt natural and unrushed. There were some moments that happened too fast in my opinion. Examples of this would be These scenes simply didn't hit as hard as I expected them to. Elenora's character is relatable, especially with the feeling of not belonging and not being good enough to be a hero. There were times Elenora didn't act sixteen, but the Enchantria series is classified as middle grade, so I don't know if that was intentional. The theme of the book (which I think is hope) is subtle and doesn't become noticeable until the middle of the book, which I like. I think it adds to the buildup toward the climax. Overall, this was an enjoyable read, and I look forward to reading more of Isabelle's work!
I was BLOWN AWAY by this book. Wow. Just WOW!!! First off-the author is younger than I am. She's incredibly talented, and she wrote this beautiful story. I'm so glad I read this novel, and I am looking forward to reading her stories in the future.
And this story? ...it was amazing! The writing is beautiful. Lyrical, and it flows so well! It has been cool to see how the author's writing has changed (at least I think) throughout the series, and yet her style remains (again, this is just my opinion) the same: vibrant, full of life, and beautiful! The characters? Elenora-I LOVE her. Her courage, her hope, her light, her laughter. Ariella-the way she sticks with Elenora, encourages her, and yet struggles with her own problems throughout the story is so inspiring! Arabella-gotta love her sarcasm, joy, and the way she gets through her deep hurts. Carlisia is amazing-she makes me laugh, and her commentary on life is so hilarious! And Storm...I will always love him. ("I told you we should have named him Trouble.") I love how close the characters have grown, and the way they have little inside jokes that have come with them from even book one! The plot was twisty and turny and exciting, keeping me turning pages and wanting to know WHAT NEXT? I legitimately had no idea how the story would end, and at one point I even gasped (out loud, mind you) at a twist that I DID NOT see coming. The pacing was smooth and enjoyable, fast-paced but with quiet, tender moments too! I loved the theme of light and darkness, belonging and hope. And, wow, that ending? My heart was swelling up, up, up with the truth that Elenora discovered. So, yeah. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT five stars!!! This was a beautiful ending to a beautiful series of novels, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon the Enchantria series! Thank you, Isabelle Knight, for writing such a wonderful novel! It truly touched my heart! (And I know I will be rereading it in the future!)
PRE-READ Can't wait to read this book! I'm super excited for the FINAL BOOK IN THE SERIES...but also sad too? It's going to be over..😭 (I can always reread though! 😊) Thrilled to dive back into the world of Enchantria, Elenora's friends and enemies, and the mind and heart of Elenora!❤️ (And the cover? It's breathtaking and just makes me EVEN MORE EXCITED to read Enchantria: The Last Hope!!!)
Quick-paced adventure and wonderful characters make this an exciting world to get lost in and enjoy.
Elenora is anything but thrilled to find a black envelope delivered to her because it can only mean one thing, but when she opens it, it's not quite what she thought. Not that the meaning behind it is any better. The evil Ravena is back again and appears to have discovered the Shadow Staff. With its power, she can destroy all of Enchantria. While Elenora is tired and not exactly thrilled to play heroine again after her last adventures, she knows she can't ignore the new, dangerous threat. With her friends at her side, she heads out on a new quest, which may or may not save them all.
It was no problem to fall right into this world and enjoy the world. The author sprinkles in just enough nods toward the earlier adventures to let the reader launch right into Elenora's new quest. The characters are immediately likeable and come across with natural flair thanks to the down-to-earth dialogue, thoughts, and reactions. The scenes slide along at a quick pace with just enough details to make the world imaginable. It never drags, but if anything, sometimes pulls through a bit too quick. For readers, who adore action, it's just the right thing. The dialogue drives most of the story along as the characters hold the heart of the plot.
There are many surprises as Elenora does her best to save Enchantria, and luckily, she has friends at her side. But that doesn't mean that each problem is easily solved. Some characters also tap into the gray area to make it hard to know whether they are to be trusted or not. It creates a rich enough background to build a fun world all the way to the last page.
