Alpha females are super rare in Hawthorne's world. So what's an alpha wolf to do when he gets his heart broken and loses his chance to claim a mate, all in one day?

For Hawes, with his super strength and love of adrenaline, the answer is to go rogue and join an underground fighting ring where he can beat the bad memories back, one day at a time.

Rose isn't worried when she gets assigned to keep an eye on Hawes as part of her undercover mission. At least, she isn't worried until she sees the pretty boy alpha for the first time in all of his muscled, sweaty glory in the ring and hears him run his mouth off after the match. Now, Rose isn't sure she can work with the cocky, irritating Shifter at all.

But she might want to try, because her mission in the underground fighting circuit just got more dangerous, and Hawes with his unusual strength may just be the only one who can protect her.

Important Note from the author!
Alpha Rogue is a completed paranormal romance serial with a lot of action. The story is told in novella length episodes with cliff-hangers. I know that this format isn't for everyone, but I love serials and find they keep things exciting for me as a writer. I hope you enjoy if you decide to still read it.

Well this first one was better than the Alpha Games Volume 1 series. The smut was soooo much better and the storyline was good. At least this time, the alpha female wasn't a pussy special snowflake.

Would've been a 3 but......

I hate pieces of books, just wait until you get a full book out of it, then release. How do you write one chapter and call it a book? I'm not really a fan of the writing style. Switching back and forth between the main characters in first person, gets on my nerves after awhile.

Alpha Rogue kicks off with a different tone—darker, more intense, and action-packed. Hawes, the cocky, strong alpha who’s gone rogue, is a refreshing lead whose struggles with heartbreak and fighting circuits add grit to the story. Rose’s undercover mission and their sizzling chemistry ignite a compelling dynamic that balances danger and romance. The novella format keeps it brisk, and the blend of paranormal powers with underground fighting rings creates a unique backdrop for this paranormal romance. Strong start for those who like their shifters rough around the edges.

Beautiful, curvy Rose is an Alpha werewolf, something that is very rare and desired by all male weres. But Rose hides herself well with scent altering chemicals because she works as an agent for the Tribunal that keeps all weres from letting humans know they exist. Her latest case is an alpha male that enjoys pummeling bullies on the underground MMA circuit. Hawes wants a happily ever after but was denied that when the female were he thought he might stand a chance with mated with his older brother. But when sexy agent Rose saves his life and then he steps in to save hers, all bets are off. Rose can be his everything and it seems Rose feels the same, but one large object stands in their way and it wants him dead. Rose will do anything to protect him and he will kill who ever tries to harm a hair on her head...Will they both survive to see their time together grow? Or will fate step in and take her away from him?

Terry Bolryder is my new FAVORITE author!!! She got me out of a horrible reading slump with Alpha Games and had me zipping through Alpha Rogue and Alpha Contender in less than a week. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait for each of the installments to be published since I discovered her books after they'd already been completed. That's really the one way I'll start a series, if it's complete. I know the time in between would have been torturous so I'm glad I had them all handy. If you go weak in the knees for super sexy alpha males, and love a fun story line with a strong leading lady then you MUST read this series. I can't wait to see what Ms. Bolryder's other shifter series have to offer!!!

I will start off by saying that I am not a huge fan of 1st person POV. I like to know what both MC’s are thinking when I read, with that said Terry hits the mark on this one.

From the moment Hawes and Rose meet, you can feel the chemistry they have for each other sizzling off the pages. The story has humor, action, and wit. You will get one of the three with every page you turn. As they try to find a secure location, so they can figure out who wants Rose dead. I found a few grammatical errors, but not enough to put me off from finishing the book.

Short but good

This was a very short read as anticipated because it is a serial, but that does not bother me at all. I actually both characters Rose and Hawes. Warning there is no sex in this story so if that is what you are looking for, it might not be your cup of tea. However I did not see that as a hindrance. It mainly focused on the interaction between the two main characters which definitely had sparks flying. Hope the next story delves a little more into the plot.

This book has suspense and a romance at the same time. You don't know which way the story is going until towards the end. You have a Alpha male, but you also have a very strong, stubborn Alpha female which leads to some interesting outcomes. The story continues through the series, so you do have to buy the series to get the whole story, that is the only downfall. I prefer not to have to do that, but the story was enough to make me want to continue to read it.

Not a full story

Not bad for the beginning of a story. They meet she saves him, then her car is blown up and he takes her home with him.
I don't mind series books but I want full stories linked, rather than just parts at a time. When it takes you to the next link it does not link to the next book, but to Terry's other series collections. I received this one free and will not be looking for the next part.

Alpha scent

I am fairly new to reading many paranormal books with shifters but this story despite the fact that I am not a huge fan of wrestling or boxing and fighting dug right into my intriguing curiosity. I had to discover more. Give this book a chance I'm fairly certain you will feel the same. Off to read book 2.

Definitely a cliff hanger

I do enjoy this author until I got to this book. I am not a big fan of cliffhangers. I don't consider this book a series because this time the author seems to want to spread out the story into several books. When I get caught up in a book, I'd like to finish it at the end of the book, not several books later. 3 stars for doing it that way.

This was an awesome short. It does have a cliffhanger as it is part of a serial. But it is worth it, this one gives you just enough sexual tension, drama, explosions, and smart-assness to get your interest hooked. I already love Hawes's sense of humor. I would recommend. <3

Decent begining but I wish there was more to the first book. I'll definitely be checking out the rest of the story though. Hawes is hot and spicy while Rose is sassy and knows what she wants. I can't wait to see what these two come up with in the rest of the series.

Alpha Rogue

I was sad it just ended.... I now know I need to read more. Hayes and Rose drawing closer due to unforeseen circumstances. Hayes has a brother and Rose a partner. Oh my.. Will they follow their hearts? Or keep it business friendly.
