I was given an ARC of this book to write an honest review. So here it is. The story itself is great. I even found myself ugly crying at one point which is a great compliment to the author. The male characters could've been more manly for me in the way they spoke but that's just my opinion. All of the characters were lovable though. There was also a pretty hot sex scene in it.

However, this is an honest review so here comes the bad points. I didn't think it was written very well, although I understand the author left errors in to protect copyright. It was very slow moving and repetitive. It also ended on a cliff hanger. I found this disappointing as I had guessed the outcome of the story already and it really could've just been a stand alone. I'm really sorry. I don't want to discourage the author at all because I see a talent for stories there but I did get bored with it. Well done with your first book. I would read another

I was fortunate to beta read this book. the author brings a new meaning to the word "family". the characters were well written that u can feel their emotions. This may not be an emotional roller coaster but it brings out the warmth n keeps u on the edge as the story unfolds. It defines the meaning of friendships ,the bond between a brother n sister, the courage it takes to overcome things or break them to let someone in.

if u are someone who loves that feeling of butterflies in your stomach that feeling when your heart skips a beat or beats faster and most of all if u love that feeling when u get tears in your eyes when u feel the love then this book is for u..

I loved this book. For two people who went through so much as kids, Brennan and Jenna created such a tight sibling bond. They took care of each other. Along the way they added new "family" members in the form of band mates. They are a close knit group and stand by each other in all situations. You can just feel the love and protectiveness they share. I loved seeing this sort of connection come off of a group of non blood related young adults. It is a beautiful thing. This story is not only about the love a bond a band forms with one another but about a special love of two band members Jenna and Gabe. They had chemistry and sparks from the get go but never acted on them. He tried. She denied. Mainly for the sake of the band and her very protective brother.

We get to go back and see Brennan's and Jenna's childhood and the forming of all the band mates. And how Jenna couldn't resist Gabe any longer. I cried a lot reading this story. Tears of sadness and tears of joy. Jenna deserves to find her happily ever after as do the rest of the band members. I can't wait for more to come on their journeys. This is an awesome debut for Savana Jade!!!!!! Awesome job!!!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really like the premise of this book. We start the story by following the lives of Brennan and Jenna and get an idea of what caused them to form such a strong "family" bond. All of the main characters have dealt with some kind of tradgey. Drugs, death, real family issues, etc. We find love and even learn some secrets. I thought there was strong character build throughout. However, there were some things that I just couldn't get past in order to really emerge myself into it. This story jumps between different times throughout the book. There were times that I felt like I had missed something and had to go back and re-read it just to figure it out. I also felt like the story dragged out a little too long. All in all, I think this is a good debut novel and the author has great potential.

"It's always been you Jenna. Since the moment I laid eyes on you, I fell so hard the earth shook."
-Savana Jade

Before I begin my review I'd like to say congrats to Savana Jade for such an amazing debut. It takes courage to put yourself out there in the world of books, authors, readers, and reviewers. The ride most definitely can be a bumpy one. Your first book out can be a scary moment. Firsts have a tendency to suck, regardless of what it is. Ms. Jade, your first most definitely did not suck. Your baby was beautiful! With that being said....my review starts now.

I've always said, if it gives me the feels and makes me cry, SCORE!! Live Today absolutely scored big in that department. This story was packed full of emotions. The bond between Jenna and her brother Brennan was sweet and loving. They've been thru a lot in life. I also loved the connection between them and their band mates. Family is who you make it and that totally shows in this book. Jenna and Gabriel's connection and interaction was amazing too. Maybe it's just me but I loved the real life feeling you get from them. Not some "only in a book" fairytale. It was beautiful and sweet even when it was heartbreaking.

Amazing and well worth the read. Add Live Today to your TBR or get to 1-Clicking this awesome book now.

I laughed and I cried, laughed and I cried and then laughed and cried again! I've had this book for awhile on my Kindle and said I think this will be the perfect time to finally get to this story. And you know what I wasn't disappointed one bit, it was not your typical love story. There wasn't just one love story but a bunch of different love stories, a love between a brother and his sister, a love between friends that become family, a love for someone who has passed and a love between a guy and a girl. The sibling love between Jenna and Brennan is so beautiful, tragic and horrible events bring that bond and love to a whole new level and it is amazing to see, that's how siblings should be for one another. The band becoming like a family and losing a member of that family broke my heart, but the gain of another family member was so amazing. Also the love that Jenna and Gabriel have is so special and so new compared to other stories I've read. The back and the forth, the ups and the downs made their love that more special to read about. Their love was felt by the words Savana wrote, I could picture just what was being written, it was so real.

This story is not just a love story, it also holds lies, betrayal and abandonment. You see in to Jenna and Brennan's childhood and how their mother left when they both were young as as they got older their father left, you find out why their father ultimately left. And you also see how these friends of theirs became their family and how they help raise Jenna in her teenage years. You also see how someone deals with addiction and how addiction can affect the people around you. This family was affected with the addition and continues to deal with the after effects of it.

I am so glad I got a chance to read this book and I'm so looking forward to finding what happens next, as well as learning more about these characters and getting to know them more in the next book.

Wow! Live Today blew me away! I've been in a book funk for a while & I'm pretty sure Savana's book brought me out of it. For being her debut novel, I was shocked when I was pulled in immediately from the beginning. The storyline was amazing...it was real. It wasn't your typical rich rocker lands groupie & falls in love. No, it was your every day life story with love, heartache, friendship & troubles.
Jenna Munson was dealt somewhat a rough life. Her mom left when she was 5 & her dad left when she was a teen. She ended up being raised by her loving brother, Brennan. Their band then became their family. Things were good, but then she meets Gabriel Gonzales, who became a guitarist in their band. They felt immediate chemistry, but they refused to act on it because of the band & her over protective brother. Then tragedy struck, which led Jenna to turn her life around. I loved how real the characters were. Loved that their actions were real & not far fetched. This book is not loaded with sex (which is great for the story), but I felt it in my heart when the scenes got intimate. You know, that butterfly flutter feeling. Live Today was sweet, hot, funny, heart breaking & emotional. I was smiling throughout, but some parts tore at my heart & made me tear up. If you are looking for a book about everyday life that doesn't revolve around sex but will pull out your emotions, give Live Today a try. I seriously can't wait for the next book.

**ARC provided for an honest review**

There is no greater bond than the bond of family, but not all family is blood. This group of bandmates……..friends………family are an amazing group that completely embraces the word and meaning of family. I could feel the love, compassion, and support they all felt for each other. No matter what life throws at any one of them, they will get through it together.

Savana Jade has truly written a mash hit with her debut novel. The characters are so well developed, loveable, and real. Not only does the story draw you in, but the characters capture your heart entirely. Jenna, Brennon, Gabe, Matt, Will, and Drew made me laugh so much and cry. I could honestly feel their pain, anger, sadness, shock, and courage, but through it all I could feel their love. This is truly an amazing story of friendship, love, courage, family, and learning to live for today.

Live Today is not your typical band book.... It has love, pain, betrayal, laughter, tears, and it's about family...

Jenna Munson isn't your typical girl, she's the sun when you're feeling dark, beautiful & strong, she's seen it all.... Being left by both of their parents, Jenna and Brennan have learned to rely on each other. They use music to get through.... Brennan and Will are Best friends early on and Matty is the brother from another mother... They stumble upon Gabriel at a bar and offer him a spot in the band.... One night things change and one in the family is taken.... Jenna makes a promise as to which she upholds and life as they know it change.... Jenna meets Drew by chance and knows that he will fit perfectly with her "family"

This book definitely makes you feel, I laughed and cried while reading this ARC.... I most definitely recommend you reading this book.... It will stand out from the rest.... Savana Jade has hit it out of the park with her debut novel....

Oh my! This little gem surprised me! I started reading this story and couldn't stop! I absolutely loved it! Make sure you have tissues handy. My heart absolutely shattered while reading this book.
This isn't your normal band story. It's about family, friends, love, betrayal and loss.
You meet Jenna and her brother Brennan, who only had each other growing up. Bren had to fight to keep them together after both parents bolt. But quickly their band mates become family. Tragedy strikes and leaves Jenna broken. I honestly couldn't put this book down. I was in a book funk until reading this! What a great debut story, and I can't wait for more!!!!

This book brought out so many feelings for me. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning. This is not your typical rock star book this one takes you on a journey from the very beginning and shows you the true meaning of family. Family is not all about blood and Brennan and Jenna show us just that. The characters are well developed and the story flows perfectly. I cried at a couple points and man was it a ugly cry but I also laughed and that is the best feeling when a story just pulls you in and makes you feel. Great debut novel Savana and I can not wait to see what come next.
