As described, this book contains information about each US president in the form of stories, trivia, and facts. It goes in order across eras, and includes quotes, inspiration, lesser-known anecdotes, and commentary on the impact of each president. The writing is at about the 8th-grade level, so I think middle schoolers, teens, and interested adults would enjoy this (it might be harder to read for any younger than 6th grade or so). It was nice to learn more about the less famous presidents, and the trivia about the better known presidents was interesting, too. One nit: the book says that Grover Cleveland was the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms, which is no longer true. The second Donald Trump term is covered, but the Grover Cleveland text has not been updated.
This alluring book takes you along a riveting journey into the lives of the US presidents from Washington up to Trump through biographies and trivia that will captivate and have you drawn to these men through the pages in this book. It is a great book to have not just for entertainment but is a useful tool for information on US leaders as well.
