A coming of age book for those of us that, well, maybe already have some age. Tyler’s memoir provides personal, authentic insights into some of the biggest life lessons a small town, liberal arts college student struggling with the world can endure. I appreciate the different motifs sprinkled in (“Plus/minus one”) that find themselves neatly resolved by the last chapter. Very relatable to those who find themselves near or deep in the world of higher education…especially in Upstate New York. And yes, it truly is a love story. I would rate this much higher if I could, and am glad Tyler’s shared his story with the world. Eagerly awaiting and supporting the next adventures and new chapters (or books? 😉) that may come! I recommend this book to truly all adult readers.
