Boken känns (och är väl) riktad mot tioåringar. Det blir väldigt preachy men jag tror nog den kan träffa rätt hos vissa. Jag hade mått bra av att läsa vissa av kapitlen i min ungdom.

Viktig och välskriven bok med en ödmjuk och inkännande ton. Jag hoppas den läses och används i skolor och fritids över hela landet.

Third and last book by Atilla Yoldas read! Read and listened to them all within a week! I MADE IT! YAY!
Anyway, what about the last one? This was clearly geared to younger kids between the age of 9-12 years old. The language is simplified and easier to read than in the other two. There’s still a lot of facts and personal stories in here as well.
So just like the other two then, right? But I will say it also makes sure some of the richness and… well… umph… from the other books is lacking. Technically there’s nothing wrong with the language, I read this in about an hour as an adult. It flows and is quite engaging.
There’s just something… lacking. I can’t really put my finger on what it is.
It is still a very good book and very important! I mean, there’s not enough books written about macho culture and I have yet to find a book that deals with it like this for those younger boys. It does serve its purpose well. It would also be very good to read together with young boys and discuss what it is you’ve read. I think using this book that way would be BRILLIANT! Whether it is with a parent or in a class at school.
A very good book though, and I hope Yoldas will continue writing and holding lectures. It is so SO needed!!!!
