A Christmas Nights Collection Novella

Raine’s a Fae with no magic. Banished to live among “Mundanes” in the human world she works as an Inquisitor for Otherworlders. But when her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Kringle, heir to the Santa Claus legacy, goes missing, it’s her job to find him. Problem is, she’d rather he just stayed missing.

Hurt by everyone she’s ever cared about Raine isn’t about to open up her heart to her “bad boy” best friend Jordan who’s been in love with her for years. Especially since his Pride’s made it abundantly clear that there’s no way in hell they’ll let him marry anyone but another weretiger.

As Raine investigates the disappearance of Gabriel, she discovers that he hasn’t just run off with a set of twin Christmas Fae for the weekend. Something more sinister is in the works; and if she can’t save him Christmas will be ruined forever. But will rescuing Gabriel bring Raine and Jordan closer, or will old feelings for Gabriel tear them apart forever?

What a wonderfully whimsical tale of a Christmas that almost wasn't. Lovely Raine has lived a hard life, being born to Otherworld parents, but without magic. She has had to deal with Otherworldly bullying because she had no Magic to speak of. So now she lives in the Mundane world among the humans as a Inquisitor, but needs to rely on others to help her with magic as needed. When Raine gets an unexpected visit from Mrs. Kringle about a missing Christmas Fae, Raine is in a pickle. Not only is the missing Fae Mrs. Kringle son, but also Raines ex-boyfriend!
Between her mischievous Dragon Sam and a Hunk of a Shifter Jordan, Raine's life is a bit of a handful. Fighting her attraction to Jordan they head out to "rescue" Gabriel Kringle from an uncertain terror. This novella is a charming story full of mystical romance and the Magic of Otherworld. The characters are great and meld together well, who else has such a funky dragon!
I recommend this to anyone who loves creative paranormal entities who are full of hilarious fun!

Raine is a Fae with no magic. Her best friend is a weretiger. Her pet is a baby dragon. Let the fun begin! She is asked to find her ex-lover, Gabriel, in order to save Christmas.

A good quick read with just the right amount of magic, interesting characters & creatures & just a little steamy sex. I hope that Ms. Ganiere plans to write one of Raine's adventures for every holiday. If you are looking for something light-hearted with elements of magic, this book is for you!

Quick cute paranormal read that has a Fake, were tiger and a baby dragon. Raine is a powerless Fae, her best friend Jordan is a were tiger and she also has a pet baby dragon. They go on a mission to find Raine's ex Gabriel. I do wish we had gotten more of the backstory between Raine and Jordan

Such a fun paranormal read! I loved the humor throughout, loved the world-building and character development, despite how few words the author had to work with. Raine was a quirky, clumsy and likable heroine and Jordan is the steadfast, protective, and hot hero. Throw in some hilarious secondary characters, and get ready to chuckle. Excellent lighthearted Christmas read for paranormal/fantasy fans.

A Very Fae Christmas

Such a fun paranormal read! I loved the humor throughout. Raine was a determined, slightly clutzy heroine. Jordan was the adorable yet tough hero. The rest of the cast made for an utterly charming and amusing short story!

A fae with no magic, a tiny dragon with a penchant for lighting furniture on fire, a sexy weretiger, another fae with a foot fetish, and the son of Santa all round out a cast of entertaining characters in this paranormal holiday short. Raine is determined to prove her worth as a magical being to herself, even though she has no powers, on a mission to find Gabriel, the kidnapped son of Santa. I loved this short. It kept me entertained, and the way Santa and even Mrs. Clause were weaved into the story was inspired.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was amazing. I liked that I was aware that there was a magical world, but I wasn't the sole basis of the story. I immediately felt the chemistry between Raine and Jordan. Loved it and I hope there is another one coming up.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This author always blows me away by the talent that shines through in her books and I love reading them!!!

I loved this storyline and I can't wait to read more of it. They way that its written is in such a vivid way that causes you to get sucked into the world with the characters and it makes you never want to leave!!! The tale is extremely addictive and you won't be able to stop turning the pages! It is full of action and adventure, you read this and you want to know more… I could rave on and on about this book but I wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone, rest assured readers will adore this like I did!!!

I absolutely love Jordan’s character, as soon as I started reading about him! He has the whole Alpha vibe about him with his strength, protectiveness and loyalty. He will do anything to protect those that he loves cares about and when he cares, he does so extremely deeply! I also loved reading about Raine, she is so strong and doesn't realise it. She is also deeply passionate which she hides inside of herself. I love how she is trying to make an independent and happy life for herself.

I can't recommend this book highly enough!!! This author is an amazing writer and she is definitely one of my favourites. Readers need to get this book!!!

Previously released as SAVING CHRISTMAS, KIDNAPPED AT CHRISTMAS is now the first book in the Otherworlder series. I believe we will need to read these stories in the order of release for maximum understanding.

An absolutely hilarious paranormal romance set at Christmas. In fact, Christmas won’t exist if Raine doesn’t find Gabriel Kringle, heir to the red suit.

I loved this story which all about the characters. There are wonderful characters such as Raine’s best friend, Jordan, who is a sexy, alpha, bad-boy weretiger. Then there is Raine’s ex-lover, Slade; he has a foot-fetish and keeps her returning to his apartment in exchange for a bit of magical help. Finally, don’t the animals and children always steal the show? Well, Raine has a runt-of-the-litter dragon named Sam. He definitely tries to take top billing. Fortunately, Rebekah Ganiere is just the author to wrangle dragons, fae, were-tigers, and a playboy Santa-to-be.

I have found a new series to love – and I hope we don’t run out of holidays for a long, long time.

Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

This first book in the Otherworlder Paranormal Mystery Series by Rebekah Ganiere, Kidnapped at Christmas, was a fun and entertaining start to the series even though it seemed too short and ended too soon. What a cast of characters she has come up with: Raine, the Fae with no magic of her own, who has been exiled to live among the human world where she works as a Private Investigator for Otherworlders. She lives with Jordan, the weretiger, with whom she is afraid to get too emotionally attached, even though she thinks he is super hot, since he is after all a were and they only mate other weres. And then there is Sam, the baby dragon who gets into way too much trouble for such a little critter and definitely brings the humor into the story. And, of course, you can't forget the Kringles, Santa, Mrs. and Gabriel, who are all needed to save Christmas. It is Gabriel, who just happens to be Raine's ex and heir to the Santa throne, who gets kidnapped just before Christmas, that Mrs. Claus asks Raine to find before it is too late. The story quickly develops amidst its twists and turns resulting in a fun enjoyable ride for the reader. This is a voluntary review of a free copy of the book from StoryOrigins.

Raine was banished to the mundane world and after two failed relationships is afraid to try love again. She may have no magic but she still solves mysteries as a Private Inquisitor for Otherworlders.

Jordan is a weretiger, destined to become alpha of his pack. He's best friends with Raine and even though he wants more, she keeps him in the friend zone.

Samuel Havok is Raine's pint sized baby dragon, who constantly finds himself in trouble with his mischief making.

When Mrs. Claus asks Raine to help find her son, how can she say no? Even if Gabriele was her two-timing ex she broke up with a year and a half ago.

Raine depends on her other ex, Slade, to provide her with questionable defensive magic to protect her on her assignments. But Jordan would rather be her back up plan.

A light-hearted easy to read, paranormal mystery with a friends-to-lovers romance.

Raine is an Inquisitor, she's pretty much a detective for the paranormal world. With her best-friend Jordan the were-tiger and her pet dragon Sam, she's enlisted by Mrs. Kringle herself to find the missing future Santa Claus. It doesn't take her long to figure out the culprit and solve the case, but that's not the only issue she has to deal with.

I enjoyed the story. I have a feeling that Raine being a powerless Fae is just the beginning of the story and something deeper is going on. I wish that I had seen more of her relationship with Jordan prior to this but I enjoyed their interactions.

I think the best part of this book was how funny it was. Between the foot loving Fae she receives her magical shoes from and the cocoa making Krampus, I laughed for most of the book.

If you're looking for a short light read with plenty of magical features then this might be for you.

I received this book for free from the author, under no obligation or influence to review.

Raina is a fae with no magic living in the Mundane world with her best friend, Jordan--a weretiger. She's approached by Mrs. Kringle to find her missing son, Gabriel, since he needs to be there to help Mr. Kringle with the fast approaching Christmas. During her investigation, she gets hit with a cursed object that makes her express her lust for Jordan when she's been keeping her true feelings for him hidden. They find the token placed on her for the curse, and she uses the knowledge of who put the object on her to help her with her investigation in to the whereabouts of Gabriel. She does find Gabriel, and brings him home. (I won't give any more spoilers.)

I thought this was a well written story. The characters are easy to connect with, and the world building is very creative. You see a side to one of the characters that goes against everything you think you know about him. The story ends with a HEA.

I have never read anything by this author until I read this novella. More on that in a moment. Raine’s ex is missing, and his mother Mrs. Kringle needs Raine to find him. As heir to the Kringle throne (yes, that Kringle), Raine really does need to find him even if she isn’t too worried. In her investigation, she uncovers a plot to take over Christmas, and her life is on the line. Helping her is her best friend Jordan, whom she is attracted to, but won’t open up to because of her ex. Will this bring them closer or finally end them for good? Oh, my stars, this was a great little story! I just loved the characters, the story, and how well-written it was. I totally adored Raine, and I can’t wait to learn more about her past. There was a lot of story packed into this novella, and it was fun from the beginning to the end. This will not be my last book by this author, and I'm off the read the next one! Highly recommend! Thanks to the author for the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

Raine is asked by Mrs. Claus to locate her son, Gabriel, who is missing. With Jordan they look into the matter and locate Gabriel and find out who was behind the kidnapping.

There are some funny experiences which take place in this book that will make you smile. Sometimes a person’s reputation isn’t accurate as Raine and Jordan find out.

I liked this story and am looking forward to the next book in the series to see if after Raine solves the case if perhaps she’ll be graced with some magic so she can visit her home realm if she so desires.

I recommend this book as a quick read you’ll enjoy.
The story is original and fresh and certainly has some
humorous elements in it when Raine tries to use magic!

I think after reading this book you too will be wanting to continue to read the further adventures of Raine, Jordan and Sam!

I really never imagined that I would have anything "REMOTELY IN COMMON WITH A PNR FICTIONAL CHARACTER, but Honestly I could so relate to Raine!
OMG a Klutzy woman
with some issues who also just happens to be a Fae(with no magic) whose ex is a Klaus (AS IN LIKE SANTA). Interesting right, but wait add a Sexy & Tough WereTiger whom lets just say has a "THING FOR Raine!" You have a "WHO KNOWS WHERE & HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FOR CHEMISTRY TO TAKE OVER😉😜!"
It gets better, You are in for a Wild Ride with Twists & Turns I didn't see coming! Will Raine (with help or all by her self?) Save Christmas? Hold on to your seat for a Serious but Humorous Novella with WONDERFUL CHARACTERS. THANKS
Rebekah R. Ganiere FOR another AMAZINGLY WRITTEN NOVELLA.

Raine is a small Fae woman who is without magic. They banned her as an outcast, so she moved to the Mundane world of humans. She has two best friends, Slade who is an ex, and Jordan, a weretiger. She also has a two-foot dragon Jordan saved named Sam. Mrs. Kringle has come to her to hire her to find her son, Gabriel. He also happens to be Raine’s ex. As much as she does not want to do this, she does~ She will have to follow many clues, give up a priceless object, avoid Jasper and the BOE, and try not to fall into any traps or make any more enemies in the process. Can she find him? In what shape will he be in, or even alive? What will happen once she does find him-will they go back to being a couple? I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

I have found a new Paranormal author to add to my list of Must Reads. The Otherworlder universe is so enticing to me, because there’s Fae, shifters, a dragon (a little one, but still), and witches. With the female MC Fae not having magic, that is of interest to me as to why she doesn’t, is there a reason why, and how/when will that be figured out. Plus there’s Mrs. Kringle, her son Gabriel, and a mention of Santa. This town is a Paranormal fan’s playground.
The story flowed effortlessly. The mixture of paranormal with a mystery was enough to hold my interest. Add in the touches of romance trying to happen between Raine and Jordan, and it was more interesting. I was reading every minute when I didn’t have to do stuff for my family.

I loved this short paranormal read! From Slades foot fetish to Jordan’s obvious love for Raine and Sam OMG I just love Sam I mean who wouldn’t want a dragon for a pet!! I was intrigued from the very start and love how feisty Raine is despite being kicked out of the fae realm. She resourceful and gets the job done despite being hindered by not having magic and other idiots such as Jasper getting in the way. I love that it’s Santa’s son that has gone missing and that Krampus well he’s such a character and those shoes covering him in soap was so so funny! I love that Jordan and Raine get together as all through the book he totally has her back & they obviously work well together & their feelings for each other shine through.

Saving Christmas was a wonderful blend of fae, human traditions and a very dirty & hairy Krampus. Raine along with her adorable but mouthy baby dragon, Sam and Jordan, her love. Raine is called upon from the wise Mrs. Klaus to help save Christmas. This was the first book in the Otherworlder series. I did feel like I was missing a little something from the backstory as characters and past events were woven into the story. With that said, I still was able to easily follow and enjoy the book. I was pleased that I could follow it up with the next book. Getting more or Raine and Jordon. And Sam!

Saving Christmas is a cute and quirky book with a possibility of putting Christmas in jeopardy unless magicless Fae, Rain finds Her ex lover Gabriel which has gone missing with the help of her Weretiger friend Jordan and Baby Dragon Sam. Enjoyed the spin the author put in the storyline of the magical and mundane world where Raine resides.

Cute story and fun read and looking forward to where the Future lies for Rain, Jordan and Sam

This was a cute short story about Christmas elves, fae, and witches. It took me a bit to get into it as there was a lot to take in, in the beginning. A few chapters in, the story really started picking up. There is a twist at the end and a sweet light romance. I love the way R.Ganiere pulls the reader in and connects us to the characters. We want to invest in them and read to the end to find out what happens to them.

How to save Christmas!
A fey with magic stilettos, a were tiger, a baby dragon with a burning problem, mother and son Kringle, (yes, those Kringles!) witches, one exhibitionist fey,...oh yes, and one cocoa savvy Krampus.
Put them all together and there you have it, a short story that will have you giggling and feeling good from beginning to end.
I volontarily reviewed a free copy of this book.

Amazing story!! Love Raine and her sassy go get um attitude. Raine is a fae with no powers with a dragon and best friend that is a shifter. When asked to help rescue her ex boyfriend Raine gladly except the task. Will Raine choose to go back to her ex boyfriend or see where things go with her shifter best friend? Such an amazing read can't wait to read the next book in the series!!

This was okay in a wacky way and very oddly similar, though different, to a book along the same lines by another author.
But I was annoyed to find out the story continues in the next book.
So there is no resolution about them being different species, which seems to be a major issue with Raine and Jordan being together.

Raine's a Fae with no magic of her own. Her ex boyfriend goes missing and she has to find him. She runs into something old and powerful, but things aren't always what they appear.
Raine, Jordan and Sam great together and I can't wait to see what else they get up to!
