Words. Words cannot describe the grotesque, eldritch horrors represented in this story. A gruesomely well-written tale of murderous insanity, and yet a beautiful work of literature. Being forced to sever all ties to the outside, forced to live and work in the shadow of killing machines, forced to murder under the delusion of self preservation and unity of a pure society. Grasping what little remains of your sanity, living on the ideals of purity and fear, until finally falling into the darkness of soulless existence. Living on a lie until the mind breaks, and all that you are is broken. Pegasus Device is a story of atrocity, pain, fear, and death. A story that truly encompasses the burden of guilt and the insanity that follows. A story that truly brings us to question just what loyalties are, just what is the greater good. A story that truly strips us down to our core and challenges our moral beliefs and ethical values.........
(I think I went a little overboard, but the book really brought out some emotions
