The Questing Games have begun—and this year, glory isn’t the only thing on the line.
After a harrowing journey through the Forest of Dreams, Nate returns to Magic Rune Academy only to find that downtime is a luxury of the past. Between brutal training sessions and an unforgiving class schedule, the pressure is higher than ever.
With the arrival of a high-stakes tournament known as the Questing Games, victory means more than prestige. It means facing off against a ruthless rival with S-tier power and secrets that could shake the realm to its core.
As Nate prepares for the legendary showdown, he’ll uncover the truth about the world he thought he knew—and learn that some battles are bigger than any crown.
I enjoyed this entry in the Magic Rune Academy series, and I think the story has now found its flow. While Harry Potter still does some heavy lifting at the foundational level, this book feels more confident taking the plot in a direction that succeeds in differentiating itself. I particularly enjoyed the nod to The Silmarillion, with the historical elf character who is practically called Glorfindel Eärendil.
The writing quality is back to where it was in the first volume. There were occasional phrases that raised my eyebrow a few times, but ultimately they were sparse and sporadic enough that I think it was just the author's voice rather than anything inauthentic.
The ending caught me by surprise.
I look forward to continuing the adventure in the next book.
Nate must save Rune Realm at all cost an Magic Rune Academy .
With the tournament under way an the Academy at risk as well as the Realm .Callion an his followers his team must be defeated at all cost . With the four teams in the championship for year 2599 . During the tournament all are eliminated but 2 Nate an Callion to the last person standing wins it all . recommend reading excellent series .
Wow, so much happened in this book. Nate is seriously stepping into his powers. We are getting more of his personal history and family lineage, which is awesome. Well done, author laying this bread crumbs in the first 2 books. The ultimate conflict is becoming clearer. such a good book 10/10
The characters are crisp, full of life, and filled with fun. The authors have done a tremendous job of warping the plot in different ways and keeping the reader on edge. Awesome writing and I look forward to the series continuing. Bring on Book 4!
This is the 3rd book in the Magic Rune Academy series and it just keeps getting better. Following Nate through his growth as he gains more power, and learns the truth about people he had trusted, with twist and turns that keep you wanting more story. Great job authors, can't wait four the 4th book.
It was....fine. I wasn't super impressed by the first two books and that lack of enthusiasm carried over here. As a former "child who read Harry Potter twice a month" I have so much of that series memorized that the cribbing in this book is blatantly obvious. So if you like horny Harry Potter fanfic where the characters can legally get laid, then go nuts I guess.
This one was hard for me, not because it wasn't good, but because I absolutely hate competition/arena arcs with passion. But I slogged through it, and all the parts that weren't that were great, and even the arena parts weren't that bad. I'm glad we didn't have to read rounds and rounds of the games. The ending was very good through.
Another great book in this series!! I personally have really enjoyed watching the characters progress through every adventure and the way the world has developed along !!!
I really enjoyed this book, the characters are filling out more and they are getting stronger and more powerful as individuals and together, can't wait until the next
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and engaging. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book and series are definitely worth checking out.
I’ve enjoyed this series immensely. The characters are fun and entertaining. The main protagonist is a humble man. I look forward to a triumphant conclusion.
