Raymond Ward is working his way through film school. But his professor despises him,his fellow students ignire him, and his film projects are met with derision. That is, until the day he receives a one-of-a-kind movie from a man referring to himself as The Archivist.
The Archivist is hired by shadowy employers to film scenes of spectacular depravity and mind-numbing cruelty, his "actors" committing acts of unspeakable carnage. The films slowly draw Ray into a world few ever glimpse. He soon discovers a secret that has been guarded since the beginning of time, a secret that lies at the heart of an intricate balancing act that guides all human existence. Been looking for a copy of this for years. I've heard how disturbing it was. I have to say I was not letdown great novella. Very graphic and disturbing. Glad I was able to finally able to read it.
