"Tonight on stage, Ray Sandler was all those old fantasies come back to life. Emily Rivers soaked up his every move and she felt alive again for the first time in what felt like years. She never thought he would actually notice her, though."
Emily is a successful woman in the tail end of a failing marriage. Ray is the reformed wild boy of rock, back on stage again for the first time in years. As a teenager Emily had Ray's posters all over her bedroom wall so when she gets backstage tickets it's as if her dreams have come true. Actually meeting him is an unexpected highlight of the evening, but that's as far as it could ever go. They come from such different worlds: what could an international star ever see in a grounded, curvy woman like Emily?

A story of secret romance in the world of the super-rich, an international celebrity and his unlikely BBW love. Steamy and passionate and full of the twists and turns familiar to readers of PJ Adams' work, including the bestsellers Winner Takes All and Black Widow.

I rated this really short and rather incomplete novella 3.5 stars...it actually ended at 80% on my kindle and left the reader just hanging. It is the story of a woman who gets to meet the musician she adored as a teenager, mooning over his poster on her bedroom wall, such as many young girls do today, when he plays a secret, private concert. He is older now, slightly greying and with some added weight, but still the same handsome, cheeky devil she remembers from long ago.
However he has changed (or so he says) and is married (somewhat) and she is also married (but unhappily so) so they try to keep their distance and then something just happens.
It was sweet and sad and then WHAM... we get some fireworks and then it ends.
I really wish we weren't teased like this and got more of a story but it was an ok little romantic romp.

This book was not one of my favourites. It was a bit cliche. The storyline wasn't that exciting and the characters were nothing special. I'm sure the story could get more exciting, but just as that was about to happen. it was the end of the book. To be continued! The sex scenes weren't too bad but they were nothing special just ur random sexual encounters that I've read hundreds of times before in other books. The book was very short but not only that it also finished at 80% on my kindle so you had 20% advertising the authors other books. You expect a few pages but 33 pages REALLY!!!!!!
