“You’ll never be good enough for my daughter.”Chasing River is another wonderful addition to KA Tucker’s romantic suspense series. These books aren’t your traditional romance stories. I think it’s nice to every once and a while read something different. I loved that the book was set in Ireland and that there was so much history incorporated into the story. I also liked that the romance was more of a slow build. This story has lovable characters, mystery, suspense, love and fantastic writing. I think anyone who's read and enjoyed the first two books of this series would enjoy this as well. And if you haven’t, I highly recommend you jumping straight into Burying Water- it’s a favorite of mine!
“But I’ll never stop trying to be.”

So...Where'd you meet this guy?"
"At the park one day. He kind of...ran into me."
"Sounds romantic."
"It was, in a way." If pipe bombs could be called romantic.

This is really a sweet story, filled with quirky and interesting and endearing characters, set in the amazing Irish country. In fact, the author’s vivid setting makes the places come alive. It felt as if I was actually walking around the dark streets of Dublin,![]()
The city of Dublin is like another character in this story.

The way she looked at me today, and yesterday at the bar, as if I can do no wrong.... She obviously sees me in a better light than I actually warrant, and I like the feel of that light.
By the time I hear the tear of the foil wrapper, I feel like I've been waiting an eternity. By the time he pushes into me... I feel like I've known him forever.
“I haven’t forgotten what you did for me, River. I’ll never forget.”
“I’d do it again. A thousand times over.”
“I want you to look at me the way you used to. I want you to think that I’m good. I want you to still want me.”
