Have we ever misjudged a situation? Looked at life one way only to realize it’s something else entirely?Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell is at a crossroads. He worships his old lady, Megan. After almost losing her, he’s realizing marriage is harder than he thought, especially when he’s the president of one of the most notorious MCs around.Megan Caldwell has been immersed in grief over her lost son, blaming herself for his death. She wants another baby and she wants to be the old lady her husband needs her to be.Reality has a way of changing perceptions. Both Megan and Christopher will have to find answers to some hard questions. Most important one?Where do they go from here? This story contains a little of Kendall Miller’s backstory and a present-day decision on her part. It isn’t for the faint of heart and isn’t a hearts-and-roses type of romance. It has a little intensity, a smidgeon of fighting, a lot of loving, and approximately 1360 ‘f’ words or variations thereof.

I am slowly but surely learning to manage my time more effectively and getting back to writing and connecting with everyone. I'm not completely there yet, but it is slowly coming together. Misled and Misappropriate have been updated with additional chapters and POVs from a couple more characters. Both books have about 30,000 more words and new covers. I have new covers for all the books in the series. Recently Misled placed first in the Mystery, Suspense, and Thriller category on Chick Lit Cafe. The paperback will also be included in an upcoming Reveal Book Box. While working on Reckless, I am also updating the text in the original series. About Reckless - It will be filled with death and destruction, as usual. However, I will admit to being slightly shocked myself at some of the turn of events taking place. I have restarted my newsletter with a new name, KatChats. Until the end of the year, I plan to send it out weekly because of all the news I have to share. After that, I will switch to monthly. I also have a new website. It should be online in a couple of days once the domain transfer completes. I also have a website dedicated to the Death Dwellers. It is still in its early stages, but it is live: https://deathdwellersmc.com.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please send them my way.

Kathryn C. Kelly is a New Orleans native who has called southeast Texas home since 2005. She had intended to travel the world but always return to her beloved New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina had other plans. She is the mother of three beautiful daughters and the daughter of one gorgeous mother whose footsteps she followed in by becoming a writer.
Kathryn is the former owner and editor of Inside Rose Rich Magazine. She and her mother have been published by Jove Books as Christine Holden. The books have long been out of print but they got the rights back to the five novels and have plans to re-release them soon.
Kathryn is a cancer survivor. In 2010, she felt a small lump in her breast. In 2015, at the urging of her mother, she went in for her bi-yearly mammogram and was diagnosed with Stage 2b/3a HER2 positive breast cancer. On November 30, 2016, she rang the bell. During her treatment, she was also diagnosed with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome.
In 2013, Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell introduced himself to Kat in the most cliché way ever. He came to her in a dream. After the inauspicious meeting, he planted himself in her mind and the motherf...the gentleman hasn't left yet. In what was only supposed to be one book about the fictitious Death Dwellers MC, Outlaw has become a source of amusement, a well of frustration, and a bone of contention between Kat and one of her daughters.
She is hard at work on Reckless, the book that will bridge the OGs with a new generation of Death Dwellers. Her work has been included in several anthologies and she is looking forward to other upcoming single title releases, including Savage Suit from the Cocky Hero Club World created by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. She is a former RWA member. She also served as Vice President for the SOLA chapter of RWA.
She is a New Orleans Saints fan, but roots for the Texans, the Rockets, and the Coogs (U of H) as long as they aren't playing any Louisiana teams. She loves champagne and sparkling wine. One day, she will try Snoop's brand. She still loves Chivas Regal but had a chance to taste Sassenach Scotch. A #lifegoal is to one day buy herself an entire bottle and keep it all for herself.
In her head, she is a biker babe with a Harley in her garage, waiting for her to hit the road. In reality, she has yet to hop on a bike and ride. She loves Cards Against Humanity, has very strong opinions that she keeps to herself, has to take her time to talk in public so nothing untoward pops out, and always strives to see the best in people and in life.

I just love Outlaw and Megan!
=====> Please Kathryn, I beg you, kill Kendall.<=====
I can't stand this character! She is a total witch, bitch, crazy and jealous!
I wish with all my heart that Johnnie kick the ass of Kendall and get a more interesting lover. I didn't even read the books that tell their story. I never do this, because anyone who knows me knows that I have to read the complete series and in the exact order.
I hate Kendall!
Outlaw is one of the best characters alpha males. And as Outlaw handles the advances of bitch Kendall is wonderful.

This was a quick read and I enjoyed it. It gives you insight to what the main characters are dealing with. There is one character that I have to say I love to hate, she needs to move on and find herself. In a way I feel for her but, she needs to get her own life. Hope the author will end up giving this character their own happy ever after. Can't wait for the next really want to see what Mortician's story is all about..

I didn't realize this was out and am so glad I checked up on the series. It is one of my favorites. This is a novella that takes us back to visit with The Death Dwellers MC.

Even though in the blurb the author says that some people love Kendall and some hate her I would be more then willing to bet it's about 90% hate, which is still where I am at the end of this book.If you have read the previous books you'll understand why I bring this up. Anyhow.... Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell is still as crazy and dangerous as ever but loves his Meggie but is finding out marriage has it's bumps. Meggie stills mourns her lost baby and he still wants to kill Kendall. Through most of this story we again have Kendall being totally nasty to Megan and Megan trying her best to understand and be her friend. We get a big happy surpise at the end of this book but also a few unanswered questions. Outlaw found some tapes in the club that showed some things the cops did when they were raided and he is crazy over it for one thing. Several other cliffhangers.

I am still frustrated by the fact that the way I read this series everyone has tried right from the start to be nice and friendly to Kendall. Something she claims she has always wanted. Except for her trying to get Outlaw the night of his party and Meggie didn't like it. No matter how much Meggie tried Kendall abused her, turned people on her. Did everything to make her life miserable and make her feel like she isn't good enough. The MC in the beginning had reasons not to trust her but when they did I think Johnny tried really hard. He did defend her. I can sit here and remember many conversation where she twisted every nice thing he said.. So her sudden insight when she got back to the club of "Oh people are sticking up for me" to me was to little to late Queen of twist

I was honored to get Misjudged as ARC. I was a little apprehensive because of what could be happening with couples who already should be having HEAs. But, damn. I'm so happy about getting this book like crazy. This story...F*ck, I don't know where to start. There so much happening with everyones life. No wonder Kathryn decided to release Misjudged before Misguided, Mortician & Baileys story.
Okey. I will start with character whom all who read these series are with her or against her. Theres no middle ground here. Yup, you guessed right. It's Kendall. I myself am on against but since Kat asked to give her a chance...Well I did give her before starting to read but...Well let's start from the beginning.
The story starts with Kendall being in school and she was 11 years old. Let me tell you, children sometimes can be cruel. And partly I understand from where Kendall comes from and why she got like this. Her beloved father seems was the only one who loved her. And since he died, Kendalls mother said "goodbye" to her mind. She even got into mental institution. Mother was really harsh to her daughter. No small details but believe me when I said Kendall would have been better if she died too. Cruel for me to say it? Maybe. But the woman was all f*cked up to treat like that with her precious child. So no love from there. So Kendall tried to get it from classmates. But like I said children can be so cruel. So no luck there too. And even though I understand her hunger for love I still don't agree with her actions. Like with girls from school. She wanted to fit there with those piranhas so much Kendall would have done anything. And she did. With one thing at least I know. And...Just...Yuck! In her place I rather be alone then be with those kind of gals and even less call them friends. This is perfect saying which fits here "With those kind of friends you don't need an enemy."
You wanna know is Kendall pulled anything similar like in previous books? Yup, she did. Damn, she did. Even over the phone she was able to stir some shit. Well sorry, Kat. I jumped into this with open mind... But, f*ck! Every time Kendall oppened her mouth she all did is to say to Megan that she don't have any value to offer to Christopher. It's seems to just being a housewife in Kendalls opinion is a bad think. All women should have profession to be respected. Even though a woman loves to take care of her and her husbands home, husband himself and their child. Just being a housewife makes her happy. And in my opinion thats it's ok to be just it. It's not degraded. We all are individuals and have different reasons that makes us happy. You should just accept it. Kendall do this? No. She just pushes her own views. In Kendalls opinion too, Megan don't have maturity. Which is just bullshit. Megan maybe is young but she is more matured then Kendall at this time. Megan knows who she is and what she wants to be at this point at her life. And maybe that she is secure in herself is what eats away at Kendall. Because Kendall herself from young age is just lost child. She don't respect herself. She don't have any love to her body not to mention herself. Is like to love herself Kendall needs to be loved by someone else. That's why she so much clings onto Johnnie. He is the first person to love her since her father. So no breathing space for poor guy. And he still loves her. Just he should be more open about it. Because Kendall is no mind reader. She needs more because she all the time misreads words or action in her twisted mind. And he don't get it. So his actions or no actions in Kendall view of point, isn't doing it for her.
But in the end of the story Kendall did something woah. All in the club where like...Well woah! Not goint to spill it. You have just to read it to find out. I just gona to say that maybe...Just maybe Kendall have working brain cells somewhere there in her head after all. And she yet going to surprice us all. Not believable? Well, we will just have to wait and see. Who knows what next story could bring.
Next Outlaw and Megan. They haven't the easiest time. To put it mildly. They still are in grieving stage. Because of that scare Outalw got he has some plans he didn't tell to Megan. I thought, damn this time he was done when Megan finds out. They marriage is working because they don't keep anything from each other. Well almost anything. Megan at least have two secrets from him. But their are for Outlaws and his brothers good.
Megan is amazing here too. Well not all the time because all those nonsence from Kendall starts to rub off on her. And it's affecting Megan's happy life with Outlaw. Good thing, Christopher, knows from "who" all this coming and don't letting anything between him and his old lady. In this Christopher was just...I just fall for him even more. His love for Megan is a think of raw beauty. Even if that love makes him make a stupid desicions sometimes. Like when they finds out Megan pregnant. And thats scares Outlaw sh*tless. He even plan another stupid thing. Yeah, he isn't thinking clearly. And I was thinking with his first plan and this one if he manages to pull it, is really gonna end their marriage.
And then when you think no more dramas, no more action can be happening, Kathryn brings them from all corners of her wonderful mind.
There some serious things happening with Bailey. I mean really really bad thinks. I'm afraid for her.
And there is openings into past more messed up than you think possible. All connections which just boggle my mind.
Damn, Kathryn knows how to hook her reader and be thirsty for more.
And...Is it dec already? No?!!! Damn, dec couldn't come faster after I read this all developments.
I could have bubble more here because like I said a lot of happening but I just leave the rest to find out for yourself.
Enjoy!

I had to digest this book after I was done reading because of all that happens in it. I'm gonna go ahead and address all of you Kendall haters. I like Kendall! I know she's over the top and has no filter. I get it. I sometimes cringe at some of the things she says. Her inappropriate behavior in a certain scene in the book honestly left me sick to my stomach. I hung my head and wanted to scream. I am not going to ruin it for those who haven't read it yet, but it's a doozy. I fully acknowledge her wrongdoing here. I like her in spite of what she says and does because she's damaged. It seems readers give Outlaw a pass on his atrocious behavior but want to crucify Kendall for hers. You can't have it both ways. After her father's death, Kendall has had no one love her until Johnnie. She doesn't know how to love, herself or anyone else. She doesn't know how to be a friend. She tries in her own way but sabotages herself. I think at the end of the book, she's starting realize the error of her ways. I can't wait to see a stronger Kendall in the future. She has to find a way to redeem herself, I admit but she can do it.

Johnnie, nut up and get your shit together. Keep Meggie out of your love life with Kendall. If you love someone and you know they have insecurities about another person, don't ask that person for help regarding the insecure person. Geez, what a dip shit. I like Johnnie but he's so damn clueless where Kendall is concerned. He has some maturing to do and some begging forgiveness for his stupidity too.

Outlaw is still an asshole but I did like him better than I have in other books. I was so pissed about his trying to manipulate Meggie about pregnancy related issues.

Meggie is as sweet as ever. She's happy with her life as a wife and mother. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I do think she needs to have her own money, something separate from Outlaw.

Mort and Bailey, can't wait for their book!

What the heck is going on with Digger?!

This is a great novella to a great series! I just can't get enough of it!

Still a Kendall fan!

Megan, Megan, Megan why would you sit there and listen to Kendall i just don't understand it. In the first book i loved Johnnie so much but now he's pathetic when it comes to Kendall and why is he entertaining her and her craziness and insecurities. Why won't she just go away and die or something. Things were much better within the club before she came around. But my favorite remains Christopher, he's the only level headed person there, I love Megan too but she was being a bit immature about the baby. The book would have been perfect if Kendall wasn't in it. Glad Christopher and Megan had more babies.

*UPDATED*

My star rating for 'MISJUDGED' is 4 1/2 out of 5 stars! :)

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘MISJUDGED' by Author Kathryn Kelly (via: Booksmoviesfandoms.wordpress.com):

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you havent read the previous Novels/Novellas of the Death Dwellers MC Series.***

The Death Dwellers MC Series was introduced to me by the wonderful author behind the series, Kathryn Kelly. I have to honestly admit that this has become one of my favorite motorcycle club series of books! I almost didn’t get to check out this little hidden jewel “Novella” before the next book in this series is released in the near future but I’m so glad I got to read it. This novella is written in the three P.O.V.’s(point of views) of Kendall “Red” Miller, Meghan “Meggie” Caldwell, and Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell.

The beginning of this novella opens with a glimpse into the sad and sucky past of a young Kendall Miller. She has quickly become one of the most annoying, bitchy, and easy to hate characters in this series but the with the life she’s lived through, you can maybe kind-of… sort of find a tiny tinge of sympathy for her. The girl has been through hell since birth it seems and that would mess anyone up mentally and emotionally, causing them to lash out unprovoked most times and to always think she can’t trust anyone. To know that she has struggled to survive through harsh bullying as an adolescent, feeling unloved by her own mother, surviving sexual assault as well as the deaths of he mother and younger sister, you may actually wonder how this woman has even found a way to survive at all. She is a very complex character but she really isn’t a villain as much as she can easily be called one…she is simply a broken-bitchy woman who needs to fix herself in order to keep the man she loves: Johnnie “John-Boy” Donovan.

Johnnie sends Kendall to a place to get some help for her issues but Kendall just sees it as a way for Johnnie to get rid of her…which is far from the truth. That is part of Kendall’s issues, she always expects the worst from others because that is all she’s ever been shown in the past through out her entire life. What will happen next for these two? Can their relationship survive the imperfections and problems that seem to linger? We will have to see.

Meghan “Meggie” is still trying to deal with the loss of her baby boy Patrick. Christopher “Outlaw” almost lost Meggie during the end of that pregnancy because of the trauma she experienced when Meggie tried to help Kendall. Outlaw still hates, loathes, and would love to murder Kendall for putting his Meggie through it all but Johnnie won’t have that happen to the woman he loves. Meggie finds out some unexpected news that sends her to deal with it all; once Christopher “Outlaw” finds out, he wants nothing more than to keep Meggie safe and alive. These two are faced with tough choices and for once, keeping secrets from each other to protect the one they love. Will this cause the strong love they share problems that can put a wedge in their relationship or can they overcome it together?

Then you have Lucas “Mortician” who is trying to find out what is going on with his brother Digger who has been distant from the MC and more involved with a female named Peyton. Mortician is still married to Bailey, the beautiful daughter of the late K.P. and she is also carrying his baby. He’s torn between a bet he made and following his feelings for the woman who confuses his mind and heart. When a surprising betrayal occurs, Mortician will have to do what he has to for the ones he cares about.

For being a novella, this was an entertaining read with all of the awesome Death Dwellers MC characters we’ve all come to know and love (or hate). I highly recommend this novella before Mortician and Bailey’s story comes out next. This novella definitely sets up a few things for not only Mortician and Bailey’s relationship but also for Outlaw and Meggie’s relationship, as well as Johnnie and Kendall’s. If you aren’t familiar with this amazing biker series filled with sexy alpha-males and tough-to-handle or easy-t0-love women, then you are missing out. You should definitely check this one out. It is had as nails, erotic as can be and one of the best MC Series’ around! Check it out.

Oh my gosh!!! Misjudged was totally awesome!!! Kathryn Kelly once again captured my attention from the very beginning and then she shocked the crap out of me. I'm talking about the full on, jaw-dropping, I-did-not-see-that-coming type of shocked, and that doesn't happen to me very often, so you know I was impressed. I was just blown away and I absolutely loved it!!

Meggie and Christopher are dealing with the loss of their baby and learning that marriage is hard no matter how much love is in it. They are struggling with all their emotions and they don't know what to do next.

Misjudged is a difficult read and you feel all the despair, insecurity, and heartbreak that the characters do. I would feel raw then happy relief and then raw all over again. I was wishing for some fighting or secrets-unveiled drama just so my heart could have a break and, boy oh boy, did Kathryn Kelly deliver! Secrets are revealed, fighting ensues, and decisions are made that change everything.

Misjudged is heartbreaking, frustrating, and rough, but it also gives you moments of hope, strength, laughter, and happiness. It might a short read, but it's completely necessary. Meggie and Christopher had lost their way, but they found it again and are stronger now than ever. They aren't the only ones who have grown, though, and I have to say that it along with the new information discovered was pretty darn outrageous.

I really loved this book! It was steamy and familiar, but with a tiny touch of epicness. It was just fantastic and I CANNOT tell you how excited I am to finally read Mort's story!!! I have no doubt Misguided will be my favorite!!

Misjudged is told mainly from Chris and Meggie's POV, but we do hear from Kendall a few times. It has a great happy ending and it should really be read after the previous books in the series. ~ Paige, 5 stars

This novella packs a punch! This book provides an update on Christopher and Megan's relationship as well as Johnnie and Kendall. Outlaw and Megan's issue with having more children is expanded on. Johnnie and Kendall's issue with marriage and mental illness is also dealt with. There is also a bit of MC drama thrown in for some action!

It begins with a flashback to Kendall's childhood where you understood a little more why she was the way she was. Although, I still do not like Kendall, clearly she is a sick woman who needs help and I'm just not sure she is strong enough to be in this gritty MC. Kudos to Kathryn Kelly for creating such different characters in this series. Dinah, Kendall, Val...three complicated characters with some serious flaws. A decision was made about Johnnie and Kendall's relationship which left me in a good place.

Outlaw and Meggie...what a hot mess of a couple that I love! Truly these two get each other and belong together. Outlaw loves Meggie with everything he has and wants her to live. He does not want her pregnant because he fears she will die and leave him. He's not willing to take a chance on that happening. On the other hand, Meggie wants more children and is willing to take that risk. She is still devastated over loosing Patrick and desperately wants another baby to take away her pain. The lengths that Outlaw will go through to protect Meggie continue to amaze and shock me! The baby drama is resolved in this story with an excellent epilogue.

I loved this book and series! I can't wait to read Mort and Bailey's story next!!

☆ I received an RC via the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆

3.75 stars!!

Misjudged centered on three of the Death Dwellers' couples: JohnnieXKendall, OutlawXMegan, and MorticianXBailey.

We get to see Outlaw and Megan cope and deal with the loss of their child, the dangers of club life, Megan developing her own sense of self and standing on her own two feet.

As well as Kendall and Johnnie's tumultuous relationship implode. Kendall is still Kendall and has many instances of word vomit and foot in mouth syndrome, but when you think about what she said and where she really comes from when she says things, she REALLY means well and DOES care. Sure, she's insecure, has jealousy issues, and lashes out. But, she genuinely does care for others, particularly Johnnie, and did make Megan think about her future.

And lastly Bailey. There isn't a whole lot of mentioning in regards to Bailey but I liked how Kathryn Kelly does gage the story to set readers up for her and Mortician's story coming up next.

So over all, a bittersweet read. And what I mean by that was the ending. I was happy for Megan and Outlaw, curious about Bailey and Mortician, but my heart dropped for Kendall and Johnnie. At least though now, Kendall is seriously trying to work on herself but, damn! Why?! I wanted wedding bells, a HEA for her and Biker Daddy since I'd actually grown to like her!! :'(

Can't wait for the next book in this series, Kathryn!!

I'm giving it five stars because it takes a damn fine writer to make me want to strangle a character with my bare hands. Yup....and that character would be Kendall. She is one screwed-up and twisted bitch. Honestly; she needs more than therapy. Perhaps a year in a mental hospital?

The story itself was GREAT. I love Christopher and Megan. What they have together is so HOT. One thing about our 'Pres', though. He needs to clean-up his usage of the 'F' words. Come on Chris; there are kids around......not every forth word has to be that word. The man seriously needs to grow up a bit........

I love the drama. I love the character interaction. I loved it all. Kendall, however, is annoying this reader. She needs to get turned-around or drop off the page.......

GREAT reading experience. VERY entertaining. Thank you!

3.5 Lordy gurdy! This was jam packed with ALL sorts of stuff SO completely complex...still processing to be honest. I'm actually going out on a limb here by saying that I am proud of Kendall for her actions at the end of the book. Johnnie needs to do right by her. I'm not saying Kendall isn't without her faults, she's not...period. I however want those two to work SO damn bad. This is NOT going to be the case until Kendall is 100% well. Johnnie needs to get his OWN act together! I desperately want to see these two together and whole...happy.

LOVED the ending in this story for Megan and Christopher, they deserve it!

Mort and Bailey's book is next and I'm ready! Bring it Kathryn Kelly, you badass author you! MY addicted butt needs it!

If I had the ability to hack into the author's computer, I'd totally get the next book in the series so I don't have to wait to read it.

Actually, if I could just hack into the author's brain, I'd get the rest of the books in the series out of there so I don't have to wait.

This novella gets 5 stars simply because Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell is highly entertaining.

He's crazy, a genius at street smarts and a loving husband.

Even if every other word out of his mouth is "fuckin'" he totally rocks.

I used to feel sorry for Kendall when I read her and Johnnie's book, but since then she's turned into a raging psychotic bitch and I'm hoping she gets on medication after giving birth.

I love this series.

Really enjoyed this, another great book in this series

To be honest any of these books that concentrates on Outlaw is always a hit for me, I know he's rude, crude and totally insensitive at times but I love him

Now, Kendall, after the beginning I thought right I'm going to try and like her but I just couldn't, the things that come out of her mouth are unbelievable !!! It's going to be interesting to see how her relationship with Johnnie develops after the ending in this one

Great MC series, and really looking forward to her new series, Phoenix Rising Rock Band, really enjoyed the teaser at the end of this book

5 heartfelt stars!! Christopher really loves Meggie with his life and soul. I love how he is so whipped by her but still be badass biker.

Kendall, I don't know what will happen between her and John Boy. Will they be together as a strong couple or separate as weaklings? Hopefully their is another book to let us know about their updates.

Highly recommended fir you biker babes out there.

This is a short little novella depicting Kendall's stay in the facility in Hawaii and Megan struggling with her grief over Patrick's death and Christopher not wanting any more children.
Megan is going through a lot in this book and we have to remember she is only 19 years old, I think she handles everything brilliantly all things considered and she is a lot stronger than I think even she knows.
Kendall, a.k.a. the fictional character I despise above all others, is her usual horrible self. From my other reviews of the books in this series my hatred for Kendall is no secret, but I'm still waiting on her to change my mind about her, surely that is the end game here, that she will redeem herself? Otherwise I can't figure out why the hell she's still in this series. I actually despise the woman, I struggle at times to remember that she is a fictional character, so strong is my hatred. I really thought her going to the facility would help her, she could get the treatment she needs and become mentally stronger but all it seems to have done is given her time to dwell on her delusions. She is obsessed with Megan and Megan and Christopher's relationship, her jealousy isn't just petty, it is poisonous. I appreciate she was bullied as a child and I'm not belittling that, but I do not think it excuses her behaviour now. There are people who went through worse as kids and have not turned out as evil as Kendall, because that's what I feel she is, evil. She is now a 31 year old woman who lives to belittle and undermine 19 year old Megan. The things she has said to her are horrendous. Kendall has become the bully now and I sincerely hope she gets put in her place. Kendall is irredeemable, I cannot see there becoming a time when I can accept her in Johnny's future. I'm really intrigued where Kathryn Kelly is going with their story.
Anyway, enough ranting about Kendall. I seriously love this series and the reactions it evokes in me just makes me love it all the more. It is proof of an authors brilliant writing ability to be able to make you feel such strong emotions, even if they are negative emotions.
Now, onto Misguided, I really can't wait to find out what happened with Bailey and Mortician!

This is one of my favorite series as I am totally in love with Christopher and Meggie. I love these two together and the relationship that they have. This series is totally screwed up and each book and character messes with my head a little more. Some in a good way and some not in a good way. lol

I'm behind in the series as I have not read the last 3 books. The 2 with Johnny and Kendall was kinda on purpose because I love Johnny but I wasn't sure that I could handle Kendall and I don't like her for him at all. So I skipped those 2 and figured I could always come back to them later. The book with Zoann and Val, I just haven't gotten to yet but after reading Misjudged and getting ready for Misguided I think that I missed a lot more than I thought. So I'm going to have to go back and read those 3 books before Misguided comes out in Dec.

I have a REALLY HUGE problem with Kendall. I just don't like her at all~at all!!! I'm not sure where Kathryn Kelly is going with her character. I see parts of Kendall that would make her great for Johnny but then she has to go and ruin in. UGH!! I can see where Johnny adds to the drama with her but still she is just WAY WAY over the top~too much for me!! I fell more in love with Christopher for having the
come-to-Jesus talk with her and for protecting Meggie, as he always does.

Christopher *sigh* I just love all of his badassness. I love the way he is with Meggie. He always tries to do right by her even if his thinking is screwed up some. lol I also love that he would do absolutely anything for her~nothing is too much. Meggie is just so perfect for him and tries to protect him just as much. I cannot get enough of these two!!

LOVED LOVED LOVED the ending and the epilogue was so cute. I'm so looking forward to Misguided. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Kathryn has sucked me into this series once again and I'm just hoping I can survive it. lol Makes me want to go back and reread Christopher and Meggie from the beginning. ;)

I purchased this book myself because I needed to read it and didnt wanna wait to get the copy from the author! LOL Sorry Kat I was in NEED for more Johnnie and Outlaw.

This book is all about Christopher/Outlaw and his Ol' Lady Megan figuring their marriage out. The two love sooo hard but when Megan loses their baby, they are lost!! Megan gets lost in negative thought provided to her by her frenemy , Kendall. She doubts her self worth. It is really sad that some of the things Kendall says about Megans "value" to the club are things people feel about woman who choose to stay at home and care for their families. Because Outlaw is shutting Megan outta the club stuff, everyone else thinks that Outlaw is messing around on Megs. The two spend alot of time trying to find what works ....Outlaw has some crazy scheme to make things right so he never worries about losing his girl. Megan is trying to find herself after everything and her self doubts of his true love for her. I love what finally brings them together.

Another part of the story was Johnnie and Kendall. Yes my favorite ex bestie Kendall is a mess and still at the mental "camp" trying everything to get his attention. She has a crappy therapist give her awful ideas which she ends up following. I have to say it broke my heart. I was glad to see some of the other club members sticking up for Kendall when Johnnie goes "sociopath" on her upon her return. I love that man but SHESH he doesnt think very well at times.....to smart but no commen sense at times John Peter!! I was happy to see Outlaw UNDERSTAND Kendall and what she is inside. She is a very broken soul and I hope that Johnnie can put her back together.

If the F word offends you then this story will. Every other word is F this F that. Fits perfectly with the story setting though. Great work.

Lots of insights into the main character’s. Megan. Boss, Logan, Cee Cee, K-P etc. Brings everything together nicely.

Megan Megan Megan... Sigh. Yes she is growing up. But i feel she is no more than an exclusive bob. Because thats how she is treated. She exsists to serve Christopher's every sexual need, when ever and where ever he wants it.

Yes Kendall was there to and I felt she dominated this book even though she really didnt. But really i wanted to reach into my tablet and bitch slap the self-pitying, insecure vindictive insensitive cow. Her me me me attitude grrrrrrrrrrrr. God she’s driving me nuts. If this were real i think i would have put her out of her constant turmoil of self-pity myself. Jonnie deserves way better. Clean her up or get rid of her please. My vote is get rid, ain’t no way I am going to like that bitch.
After what she did to Jonnie at the end, omfg i wanted to throw my tablet, hunt her down and blow her head off. Thankfully i refrained from throwing my tablet lol. Hmmm i think Christopher is rubbing off on me.
As i have said before Please please please either fix this bitch or kill her off she’s taking up space i do not care to read about.

A little more of Mortician and Bailey, was nice to understand Mortician’s reasoning more.
Was a nice set up for the next story with Digger and Sharpe. That should be good.

Didnt like the way it suddenly jumped like 6 months ahead at the end though.

Looking forward to reading the next instalment.

A lovely 4.5 stars

This series I love and the main characters Outlaw and Megan are my fav.

This book was a quick read for me and were do I start with johnnie and Kendall well she's a true emoition roller coaster and has you love and hate her at once it took me awhile to come to tolerate her and Wow she is like a true 5 yr old always having a tantrum and it was getting Old But I still wanna see how her and johnnie figure it all out and I have a little hope for them.
I believe Once she finds herself and overcomes all the past and depression then I think she will flower into a likeable person or has all the negativity taken root and none of us will like her for who she truely is She has to work hard to have me become her fan!
I loved this book as it had a lot going on in it with each character having a spotlight and this book wasn't just about one person so kept me wanting more from them all
I'm looking forward to morticians book I know we are in for a great read that I won't wanna put down!
A great read nicely written and glad it came before mortician's story.
If you haven't read them all its best that you do because your get a better feel of all the characters and find your love/hates during it.

Wow! Another amazing Death Dwellers story by Kathryn Kelly. I love Outlaw and Meggie, in this story they are going through the emotions of loosing their son Patrick and moving on, Meggie wants to be enough for Christopher and Christopher wants to protect Meggie. Love them together, love their love and strength for each other. Val and Zoanne are back which I also love (second favorite couple) and Mortician and Bailey go on a wild ride. A lot of action (of course) a lot of drama thanks to Kendall and a lot of love. I want to feel for Kendall I just can't, she rubs me the wrong way, she's a pain in the ass, whiney baby or will hurt Christopher and Megan and anyone else on her path. I felt for Johnny, he's a good guy, tries his best but it never seems good enough for Kendall. What the he'll is up with Digger, oh my can't wait for more on that. A wild ride this book brings you on. Love Rule and Rebel (perfect names) can't wait for the next book. This one as all the others rocked. 5 stars review by Nanee at upallnightreadallday.blogspot.com

Outlaw and Meggie have overcome just about anything and everything imaginable in a relationship. Their relationship is awesome and I adore them. As always, I hate Kendall and couldn't stand her in this book same as all the others she's in. I'm really hoping eventually the author manages to give Kendall a comeback and make her an okay woman in the readers eyes... so far not seeing that though.

I can't wait to find out more about the whole digger situation - he's clearly lost his mind. I love that Meggie stays so strong throughout this story but there were a few times I needed to remind myself that she's only 19. Kendall's jealously almost ruins this book for me and brings it down to a 4 star instead of a 5. If the author doesn't turn her character around soon I at least hope she gets killed off... and I hope it's Outlaw who has that pleasure.

Great novella - as always leaves you wanting more! Can't wait for the next one.

Will someone just kill Kendall? I'm like Christopher, just give me a gun and let me shoot Kendall, Johnny and I swear sometimes Megan. There were times I wanted to throw my Kindle because of all the drama these women, especially Kendall, stir up and I just wonder if the author will every redeem Kendall in my eyes. But the author succeeded (again) in showing the deep love Megan and Christopher share. Truthfully, I hate the way Christoper talks, not just dropping the f bomb every second word but his damn street lingo takes something away from what I want him to be. But there is no doubt he loves Megan and is willing to do anything to prove that love.
Even though I would like never to read about Kendall/Johnny again, I'm sure I won't be able to resist the next book in the series. Don't read this novella if you haven't read the other books in the series. You would be lost.

Soooooo...... I have no idea where to even start. As much as I love Johnny, someone need to sucker punch him really really hard. Like dude, WTF IS WORNG WITH YOU!!! She trying fix herself and your over bitching because she wont marry you, and this time she didn't even sound like a nut, when she explained her reasons ...

And Outlaw, he need to get shoot in the foot or something, for even thinking about making Megan lose the baby... How can you even kill your own kid. Something is seriously wrong with you.

But overall, I feel has though this novella tied up lose ends. Now I cant wait to see what happens with Kendall, Johnny and their baby, and with the Twins

Happy Reading :)

I saw Kendall as a sympathetic character from the previous books and still do. This woman has a lot of issues to work thru. From self esteem, her mother, and just wanting to be loved. I believe she finally has a break thru with Johnnie,"if you love something let it go, and if it's truly yours, it will come back to you" (or something like that). Chris and Meggie are trying to keep it together. They love each other unconditionally, but have to make some tough decisions for the good of the other person, even if it means betraying them. I am so glad they finally get their HEA. It will be interesting to see where Mortician and Bailey end up , can't wait!

Ok this is not out for Nook yet so I had to borrow a kindle... because Misguided is out and I can't stand to read a series out of order and I had to read it. But as soon as it comes out for Nook I will be adding it to my library!!!! This I believe is my favorite MC series. All the books in this series has everything I look for in a great MC book. I don't really like Novelles but this author makes sure hers are filled with so much action that you don't realize they are short. You won't want to stop reading and when you get to the end you are going "ok where's the next book". Read the series people and you will love it too. Rated great
