Once again I’m reminded that I should defo stay away from Hizaki. Yes BLs written from the top’s pov aren’t very common, and yes redemption type of story, esp if it’s the kind in that the top took the bottom fro granted, lost his love n tryna gain the love back, is defo a special treat for those who are fed up w their love-life (altho it’s unrealistic to a fault, the top is a complete bull, and there’s no character development nor psychological portrayal that can make the story convincing). But even those two things can’t make up for Hizaki’s uninspiring writings. Monotonous sentences and paragraphs that feel like they’re straight outta a poorly written script for an amateurish play.
I have never liked anything from Hizaki, always terrible writing style and boring af storyline. But I got tempted by the good reviews and ended up buying this during a sale. Absolutely crap imo. But hey I’m picky abt writing styles, and if you don’t and just wanna read some batshit unrealistic cheesy BL, give it a try then.
