It started with a cup of black coffee. A routine morning. A familiar café. A woman who thought her life was under control.
Susan lives by the rules. Quiet mornings. The comfort of repetition. But everything begins to unravel the day a well-dressed stranger walks in — spinning a metal lighter between his fingers and watching her like he already knows her secrets.
First come the memory lapses. Then the dreams. Then the bruises she can’t explain.
Two men enter her life — one fiery, charming, impossible to ignore. The other calm, collected… and terrifying in his quiet intensity. One of them wants to love her. The other wants to own her.
But what if the real danger isn’t who she’s with… but what’s being done to her mind?
As Susan slips deeper into a web of seduction, hypnosis, and psychological manipulation, one question haunts
Is she the puppet… or the puppeteer?
Dark, seductive, and disturbingly intimate, “Your Mind Is My Toy” is a psychological thriller that toys with memory, consent, and control — and forces you to What would you do if your thoughts weren’t yours anymore?
“Your Mind is my Toy” by Robin Marsh is a dark, twisted plunge into psychological warfare at its most disturbing. The tension is razor-sharp, the manipulation relentless, and the power games are downright chilling.
This isn’t just a thriller—it’s a psychological battleground. Every twist feels like a punch to the gut, and by the end, you’re left questioning everything, including your own instincts. If you like your thrillers bold, brutal, and brain-bending, this one will haunt you long after you finish it.
I have not read a book that started so uniquely! You keep guessing whether it’s supernatural, hypnotic, or erotic. There is a sense of suspense throughout.
The characters are fascinating, and I love the setup of a coffee shop. It’s heartwarming to see the support and love surrounding Susan. However, I wish a different name had been chosen for Sophie; it was a bit confusing to read scenes featuring both Susan and Sophie and remember which one was the main character.
This is a dark psychological thriller and a quick read. 4/5 stars ✨
Decent book for such a short story. There were a few moments that felt repetitive which takes you out of the story. I think this one could’ve easily been expanded another 100 pages or so, I feel like there was a lot left to be desired in the end.
Awesome read. Spectacular storyline and characters. Love coming from such an awful experience. I couldn’t put this down once I started. Best case of Karma I’ve ever read. Definitely a must read. A++++++
