Journee Ambrose was the last single sister. That was fine. She was happy for her sisters. They all found their guy. She found hers, too. He just wasn’t aware of it.
She worked with Joshua at the clinic. They got along fine. They even exchanged an occasional comment that could be construed as flirting. But once again, Journee wasn’t sure Joshua was aware of it.
Joshua worked hard at the clinic, then went home to his teenage brother, who he was raising. Braden was a handful and not happy to be living in Calaway Crossing. Journee knew Joshua was a busy man and dating was probably the last thing on his mind.
So, she’d wait and keep her secret crush to herself. Except it wasn’t really a secret. It seemed Joshua was about the only person in town who didn’t know.
Journee is the fourth book in the Ambrose Girls of Calaway Crossing series.
Leigh Spends her days with cute, sexy guys. Unfortunately, they’re on paper. But still, not a bad way to spend your day. She also writes about strong, independent women who can hold their own against these irresistible guys. She’s not a pure romance writer because she breaks the rules a bit. But that’s the fun part. Leigh’s stories have adventure, family relationships, and the struggles life throws at you sometimes. But boy always meets girl. They tussle a bit while they figure out what they really want. Then find their happily ever after, even though it might not be what they thought it was going to be. But the most amazing thing about this is, she does it all with a dog on her lap. Her muse may not be one of her book boyfriends. But a cute dog is the next best thing.
This was a sweet love story. Not the typical love story, but Journee, was an Ambrose and she had three sisters and the Callaways were the other prominent people in her this small town. Josh’s was a PA in the clinic Journee worked. Mostly family working in this clinic. Braden was Joshua’s younger brother. Just enjoy their finding love.
Cute story! I hate that this series has ended tho. Now I’m wondering about Braden and Rose! I know they need some more growing up to do but it’d be nice to return to Calaway Crossing someday to find out!
