The copy text is dum but as a person who does not keep up with Chelsea I really enjoyed the chapter taxonomies organized by trend--e.g., the body dismembered, strange creatures, memory, monumentality.

This book is 3 inches thick. Phaidon is one of my favorite publishers. BUT, at one point they do say that Chihuly designed a GLASS pedestrian bridge in his home town of Tacoma. Hi, people of Phaidon who should have their facts straight, the bridge is NOT made out of glass. The large glass-looking blobs are actually CAST PLASTIC made to LOOK like glass....and there are some glass works displayed on the bridge.
Mostly a great book.
