HELP… I saw 4.44 stars but didn’t notice there were only 9 reviews… this book has evidently not been proofread and it felt like it was written by someone in secondary school

-Violet is horrified. Toby has always liked her.

Oh it’s so good! Getting back with the group for the second book was so fun! Toby is now on the book boyfriend list. And adding in Batcat?!? So dang cute. I can’t wait for the next book!!!

TOBY, TOBY, TOBY!!!
I am so upset that I had to wait to read the second book in the Prestbury series due to other commitments but boy was it worth the wait. Lisa did not disappoint.
Toby is definitely everything you can think of in a man. He is caring, loving, kind and would do anything for the woman he fell in love with 8 years ago.
Violet is career driven and will follow her dreams it’s a shame her family constantly put her down and she has all these insecurities about not being good enough. At times I just wanted to give her a big hug but also shout at her and tell her not to take their 💩.
There is a scene in this book that I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe. I love that about Lisa’s book, yes there are sad topics and happy ones but the way she makes me imagine certain things has me cackling, I’m diving straight into book 3 now. Shhh!

This is the second book by this author the first book was in my ten star reads but so is this one.
Book 2
This is a second chance romance where they get drunk a3nd married in Vegas. I dont want to spoil anything or give anything away but.. This story was beautifully written the characters felt authentic and the story was believable. I Felt connected throughout. I love that the friendship group is still here in this book. The British humour I absolutely love. I am so glad I saw your book recommendation through tiktok because Lisa Harrison is now one of my favourite authors. Her story's are connecting and beautifully written they take you on an emotional roller coaster and make you laugh at the same time. I can not wait for book 3.

Violet & Toby dated briefly 8 years ago but Violet doesn't think she is good enough for Toby so she ends their relationship only to end up in the same friendship group years later.

Violet has a family where she is treated as the black-sheep and never really felt worthy. Toby thinks she is worthy and has been in love with her for 8 years which has led to him some red flag behavior like stalking, hacking, unavailing you name it!

Toby is book husband worthy this man would literally burn the world down for Violet. I love the way he supports her through everything. He appears the calm, collected one of the group but he has a dark protective side to him and the spice in this book yes please!
I loved this book because violet is a wild one and he doesn't try to change her at all.
I loved the humour in this book there were multiple scenes that had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

This book is on my list of recommendations. The way the women and men talk to each other. It makes me feel like I’m apart of their friend group. And it’s spicy too 🌶️🌶️ I could definitely read this again!!

OMG this book lives rent free in my mind! Its been over a month since I read this book and I am still not over it! I can not wait for my book besties to read it!
His Hidden Obsession picks up where His Curvaceous desires ends, and I an so glad it did because the scream I scrimped! (no spoilers if you know, you know....if you don't know then go read read book 1 😉 ) They are interconnected but you could read them as a stand alone, but I would recommend you read them in order.
We meet Vi in book 1 she is a badass girls girl! She has a lots of trauma from her past and Toby is the perfect person to help heal her heart. There is a lot of angst in this book and there are a few twists that had my head popping up from my kindle!
The amount of times I wanted it give Violet a hug as I read this book!!! she broke my heart. But in all of those moments Toby was there. He has her back and don't let his quiet and polite personality get you twisted, if you touch or mess with what is his he will F you up! That transformation in him was so hot 🥵 🔥.
Toby falls first in this book but when I think about violet deeper I think she has loved his for as long as he has loved her!
I normally read 1 book then flit to another genre. But nope I started another book and my mind kept wandering back to this book so read it back to back with book 1 - I have not done this in so long!
This book and the way it had me feeling is one of my top reads of this year so far, Lisa is one of my auto-buy authors and I am so glad I found her books!
