I'm not sure where to start really but here goes, I did enjoy parts of this series but then I found that some of it annoyed the hell out of me to..
I liked Piper at times but found that her switching between men peed me off, she is a very gullible person and would believe anything that's being said to her.

I loved Jullien he is such a nice genuine guy I personally feel he's to good for piper.

And Reed although he seemed like a dick at the beginning he kind of redeemed himself in the end.

I think the story could of gone differently however all in all was a good read x

Not a fan

I've read a number of M. S. Parker's other books, but I wasn't a fan of this one.
As with a couple of other reviews, I'd say this is not a boxset, more like chapters in the same book! And the story was all way out there, unlikely and not my expected HEA. She gets one but it's all a rather late to the party effort and I didn't find it that believable personally.

I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay £7.99 a month for the subscription)

Amazing series. M.S Parker has done it again. I love reading about Piper and her getting her life together. When she meets Reed you think her luck has change but it didn't. Must Read to found out if Reed is really who Piper needs

Sinful Desires Box Set

Sinful Desires Vol 1

After Piper Black’s mother died, she moved to Las Vegas to pursue her dreams of becoming a dancer, but the only kind of dances she’s doing these days are exotic ones. It’s not what she wanted but it puts a roof over her head. After being talked into going to her high school reunion Piper runs into her high school crush, Reed Stirling and ends up sleeping with him. She thought she could leave what happen in Philadelphia there but when she least expected it, Reed shows back up in her life with a secret that could ruin any chance of them being together.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Piper is a woman who is trying to make her dreams come true, she sometimes comes off as a lost soul. I love how Piper stood up for herself but at the same time had weakness we all have. She’s a strong woman who hasn’t had an easy life. In fact her life is so realistic made it easier it to relate to her character. A lot of people don’t like to remember what high school was like or what happened during their time there and Piper is no different. The affect high school had on her is close to what a lot of people had experienced. This made the story different from others I have read.

Reed Stirling was the typical high school rich boy with a god complex that most girls had a crush. He comes off as an Alpha male, demanding what he wants from his female companion but he submits to his family’s demands easily. I’m still trying to figure out what his angle is and why he won’t just tell his family that he won’t follow their wishes. I look forward to seeing more sides of his character in the next 3 volumes.

I’ve been a fan of M. S. Parker’s since she released her first volume of the Club Prive Series and I have yet to fine one of her stories less than amazing. She delivered another great start to a series and I can’t wait to see where she takes Piper and Reed. These two are probably my favorite characters she has written so far and I’m happy I don’t have to wait too long for the next volume to come out. Another fabulous book and a 5 star read. I highly recommend this to my fellow readers.

Sinful Desires Vol 2

Piper gets a surprise invite from Brock to be his date to Reed’s wedding. He may be using this invitation as an apology for how he acted at the bachelor party but Piper does not remember what he did. Now she is left with the decision, go back to Philly to see Brock and be his date to Reeds wedding or stay home wondering what could have been. After agreeing to be Brock’s date, Piper has second thoughts, as she isn’t sure she made the right decision. Being at the wedding and seeing Reed again could be more than she bargain for or will it be exactly what she needs to move on?

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Piper deciding to go to the wedding wasn’t a surprise. It’s not like a woman who was given the means and the way to do something like that wouldn’t consider it just to be able to see the way the guy reacts to them being there. I get where she is coming from and the decisions she made but her thoughts and emotions seems to be a bit more scattered in this volume. Her heart knows it belongs to Reed but her mind is telling her that Brock is the man she thinks she should be with. Her best friend did give her a warning about him being a player, but Piper hasn’t seen that side of him yet. I think she is too blinded by emotions to see what’s in right front of her. As a reader I still haven’t forgotten what happened at the bachelor party, since Piper doesn’t remember it I’m anxiously waiting to see how it will comes back and bit her in the butt.

The fact that Reed isn’t happy with Piper is being with Brock has him staying true to what he has said about his feeling for her. He has tried to talk to Piper about what’s going on, but dealing with a woman you’ve hurt doesn’t come easy. I admire that he is trying but there is still so much about him we don’t know yet. I haven’t figured him out yet and it still has me very cautious as to whether I like him or not. He’s playing the happy husband but there has to be more to this situation he is in because the way he reacts to Piper being with another man doesn’t fit the type of character we’ve seen from him.

Brock is a guy who knows what he wants and goes after it, but this has left me wondering why he would be okay with Piper having feeling for Reed. He comes of a sweet, kind, caring and understanding, and as he doesn’t seem to care what Piper’s current occupation is, but there is still something about him that makes me think he’s up to no good. He wasn’t like this in Vegas when he first met Piper. It will be interesting to see where his character goes in this story.

This volume of Sinful Desire took the story in a slightly different direction having Piper date Brock and pushing Reed to the side, which has me wondering what is going to happen next. The main characters stayed true to themselves but by adding a third player into the story has its kept me guessing what twist M. S. Parker was going to throw at us next. This story may come off as a romantic drama but it has a suspenseful side to it. I look forward to see how it all plays out and who will let Piper down and who will show her that they’re the one she should be with. I highly recommend this to my fellow readers.

Sinful Desires Vol 3

It’s been several weeks since Piper was in Philly for Reed’s wedding and she still has yet to answer Brock about moving back. After several chances of talking and video chats, Brock goes to Vegas for a week to spend time with Piper. Can this week together bring them closer together or will the side of him that Piper’s best friend Anastascia told her about will finally show?

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Piper is still the same sweet innocence woman she’s always been, hoping and looking for the best in a person. However, this almost always leaves her disappointed, as some people never change. I find her to be very naïve about people considering the industry she works in, she knows what men can be like, yet she isn’t seeing Brock for who he is. She only has luke warm feeling for him with great sex, but she is pushing for the relationship to work out more than she should. When she gets a glimpse of the real Brock, she second-guesses herself, even after talking to Anastascia she still doesn’t listen. Even after all this Piper still is hung up on Reed, a man who she has deep feelings for, but hasn’t contact her since she was in Philly.

Brock finally started to show his true colors. He acts like he is into Piper but then treats her like a piece of garbage. He seems happy that she finally made a decision about moving but then he goes and makes an ass of himself. He knows how to play the right card to get her to forgive him and I have to give him credit as he does a very good job in the apology department. The problem is he keeps having to apologies to Piper for how he acts. I knew there was something up after the first volume and wanted to know what game he was playing and at the end of this volume we get to find out just exactly who he is.

The new character introduced in this volume is Julien Atwood. He comes off as shy and quiet compare to Brock. I’m quite surprised he considers Brock a friend as they seem to be opposites. They both grew up with money but Brock has no problem with taking his family’s money and Julien took the harder road and earn his way in the world. Julien seem to care about Piper and her feelings. I like how he takes the time to get to know her and tells Brock what a jerk he’s being. I’m quite intrigued by this character and wonder if we’ll see more of him and if so what role he will play in the story.

I love how we were kept guessing as to how things would play out for Brock and Piper and how Reed would play a role in this. The addition of a new character added to the mystery of what was going to happen but also helped explain the reason why Brock Michaels is the way he is. I can’t wait for the next volumes to come out so I can see what Piper has in store for Brock and how Julien will play into it. Another hit for M. S. Parker!!

Sinful Desires Vol 4

Piper thought things were going her way until she finds out that her best friend Anastascia was right about Brock. Now it’s time to move on from both Reed and Brock, an opportunity present itself to Piper, which has her on an airplane back to Philadelphia. Will this new life be just what she needs or will the past comes back and ruin the fresh start?

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Piper’s feisty side comes out in this volume. She’s no longer wears the rose-colored glasses and is finally seeing things for what they are. I love how she stood up and took charge of her life, telling the men in it what she thinks of them. With this new opportunity handed to her, she makes the best decision she can for herself and moves back to Philadelphia to start over. She is lucky to have at least two friends waiting for her to move back, Julien and Anastascia.

Julien becomes closer to Piper in this volume. The friendship Julien has been building with Piper is what they both need in their life right now. You got to see a different side of Julien. He may come off as quiet and shy but he is so much more. We get to see the kind, caring and helping man he is. I love the way he treats Piper and never once looks down upon her bad because of her job. He’s the man every girl wants as a boyfriend. I can’t wait to see where things go with him and Piper.

I was glad to see that Brock got what he deserved. He is truly a low life scum and got exactly what was coming to him. I’m not sure if we’ll see much more of him but I won’t miss him. Reed showed up in this volume and I have to give him credit for trying to make up for what he has done.

This volume had me captivated from the beginning, as I wanted to know what Piper would do. I love the fact that Julien was there for Piper when she needed a friend the most, as they only just met. I like that Piper contemplated on the opportunity and didn’t just up and take it. She was smart by asking Anastascia and Julien what they thought about it and then took everything in before making the decision. Julien has become my favorite male character in this series and I can’t help but hope he and Piper will be together by the end of the series. M. S. Parker left this volume has me anxiously wait for the next volume in the series. This is by far my favorite volume in the Sinful Desires series and I can’t wait to get the fifth volume to come out. If you’re looking for a series that has lots of romance and keeps you guessing, then this is the series for you.

Sinful Desires Vol 5

Just when things started to settle down and go the way Piper wanted them to, Reed shows up and tells her he has ended his marriage. This should be what Piper wanted but she is torn between her high school crush and the man she’s gotten to know of the past few months.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

It finally happened! Julien and Piper finally took their relationship a step forward. I love that Piper took care of Julien, as he wasn’t sure what to do or where to go as he had just lost his father. Then Reed shows up declaring his feelings for her and telling her left his wife and finally manned up telling his parents he wouldn’t be forced to stay in a loveless marriage. This leaves Piper confused. She has Julien in her life who has been everything she could ever want. They’ve taken things slow, but she knows her previous career choice means nothing to him. Reed was everything she wanted when she was in high school. The question in her head now is, what Reed is offering is enough for her. The confusion is totally understandable as its not every day a girl has two men wanting to be with her. I like that she doesn’t just up and make the decision right away. Despite knowing she is going to hurt at least one person and she could lose them both she doesn’t rush into anything.

Julien has his own confusion to work through. The death of his father has hit him in a way that he never expected. How could he care so much that the cold-hearted man died? Seeing Piper and talking to her, helped him out. When they took their friendship to the next level it felt right to him. He’s wanted her from the moment he saw her step out onto stage not knowing she was dating Brock at the time. Everything he does, he does with Piper in mind, including giving her the time she needs to make the decision between the two men.

Reed selfishly shows up and expects Piper to just drop everything and jump into his arms when he tells her what he did for her. The problem is, Reed has been doing things for everyone else, not knowing what he really wants. He doesn’t give up on Piper and his feelings for her as they are truly genuine.

This volume kept me on the edge of my seat. After everything that happens in this volume and previous volumes, I was left guessing on how it would end. I knew who I wanted Piper to end up with but I was unsure if the happy ending I had in mind would be the one I would get. There were many possible endings for this story and two of them would’ve made me happy but M. S. Parker kept that secret until the very end. She finished this story in a way that has you wanting to go back to the beginning and read it all over again. I love how she tied up loose ends with all the characters throughout the book and gives us an ending that we won’t soon forget. Sinful Desires is a great romance story you’ll never want to end!

Three guys… one girl… one difficult choice

This is probably one of the most heartbreaking and thought provoking romance series I’ve read… it really makes you question what you would do in the same situation.

I can’t say too much about the series itself because I don’t want to give too much away… so I apologise now for any spoilers.

So, we have our heroine, the red-headed bombshell that is Piper Black. Growing up in Philadelphia wasn’t easy for the beautiful Miss Black and it was made even more difficult due to her being enrolled in a snooty private school amongst the Philadelphia elite.

The problem was, Piper wasn’t from the snooty elite but a smart, talented scholarship kid with a bright future. Unfortunately for Piper, she never really fitted in… and there were plenty of the socialites in her school that liked nothing more than pointing that out! After leaving High school she ends up looking after her sick mother… foregoing her chance at a college education. When her mother dies, she leaves Philly for the bright lights of Vegas. Apart from her best friend Anastascia, she has no desire to return. No one else cares and no one wants to be associated with a Vegas exotic dancer. It’s not what she wants, but with lots of ambition but zero funds or influence it’s all she can get.

When she ends up back home attending her school reunion, it’s really the last place she wants to be. Especially when it’s even more clear that she still doesn’t belong.

That’s when everything starts going crazy.

Cue a trio of gorgeous men that get her head into a whirl and her life into a tailspin.

Number one is Reed - he’s your typical heart throb that any woman would be happy to be with. Charming, suave and drop-dead gorgeous. He’s also super rich and entitled… which in itself becomes a huge problem. After just one amazing night together Piper is hooked on him. He’s everything she hoped he would be. Completely besotted with each other… but it can’t work. Then another chance meeting reveals a huge secret that breaks her heart. Their next encounters are equally erotic and explosive but what he can offer her is not what she wants… and what she wants, he can’t give her without ruining everything he has worked for.

Number two… Brock. Another rich, entitled hottie but he knows it. The first time he meets Piper, she is dancing and stripping at his future brother-in-laws bachelor party at a private Vegas hotel suite… but things get out of hand and Piper can’t remember much except ending up in the grooms bed. At first he’s incredibly apologetic and pays for her to attend his sisters wedding in Philadelphia… also offering a hefty sum in compensation. When she takes him up on his offer they enter into a relationship that at first appears genuinely sweet and caring… but as time goes on, the cracks in his seemingly gorgeous exterior reveals an ugliness that Piper tries to push aside.

Number three - Julien Atwood. Another one of Philadelphia’s elite crowd, but there’s something different about him. He’s rich, smart and obviously well-bred but he’s known as the black sheep of the family. Why? Because unlike the other entitled and pompous men he grew up with, instead of doing what was expected of him, he dropped out of university and went travelling around Europe, working wherever he could get a job and not relying on his trust fund. He meets Piper when her boyfriend, Brock brings him to Vegas to meet her. Of course, being the good friend he is, even though he takes an instant liking to Piper, he’s a gentleman and doesn’t make any move. Sadly, as their visit continues, Julien finds himself having to defend Piper from Brock’s increasingly inappropriate behaviour.

Brock is soon taken out of the equation when the truth about Brock and Pipers first meeting is revealed… which leaves Piper wondering if there could be anything between her and Reed. But there’s a problem there and it’s one that requires action from him.

While she’s waiting for Reed to make his move, Julien and Piper become good friends and even though it’s not a wham-bam fireworks kind of relationship, there’s a lot to be said for the slow burn. Julien is chivalrous and charming but without the smarminess.

So… with two gorgeous men tugging at her heart, who will Piper choose?

Honestly, I’ve never felt so torn in a book series. I loved both these guys. Reed is in-your-face hotness and an absolute sex god. He’s passion personified and oozes sensuality. On the other hand, Julien is the sweet, loving and incredibly caring steady guy that believes in treating a lady with respect.

That’s all I’m going to say… but as much as i agreed with the decision Piper makes I also felt so sorry and sad for the man she turns down. My heart broke for him. After everything he does for her, he has to walk away without the woman he loves.

Great series. Fantastic. Once again… it really doesn’t need to be individual volumes. The box set is far better so that you can read straight through.

Great read

Another really successful series by Ms Parker. It is a very intriguing story, Piper is a very mixed up young woman who has had quite a traumatic life, she was a bright girl who went to a high class private school on a scholarship and was abused by the rich girls. Her mother became sick and she gave up going to college to take care of her, after her death she left her home to try to make it as a dancer in Las Vegas but ended up as a stripper. After coming back for a reunion she is again subject to abuse from those rich girls but has an encounter with a long time crush. From then things with men just spiral downward, until she meets Julien who becomes at first a good friend . Piper goes through a lot of trauma but in the end love wins through. It is really moving at times and your heart goes out to Piper as she is treated so poorly you just want her to be happy with the right person and for her to be a success. Really enjoyable series.

Dreams can come true when you least expect them to...

Piper had dreamt of a being a dancer, but she is learning the hard way that, in life, your dreams don't always come true. She loses her Mom and decides to move away from Philadelphia to Vegas. There she ends up as a dancer of sorts, an exotic one. She meets Reed at her high school reunion, who she had a crush on, and falls for him again. She realises that things can't work out with him, and she finds herself with Brock instead. He isn't what he seems to be, but she does find a friend in Julien. Over time, things happen between them, and she starts to look at him as more than just a friend. Can she finally live her dream of being a dancer, and also be happy and make things work with Julien? Please read this addictive boxset to find out.

It’s all about choices.

This series is really about the choices that are made that send our lives in so many directions. The ones we make based on childhood experiences or rebounding from a bad breakup; the ones that stem from fear or grief.

Piper had once had a dream of dancing but life had thrown her some curves and the dancing she ended up doing was definitely not where she had planned. Her love life was mostly nonexistent too. Then there was her reunion and her sudden, unthinking choices created ripples in her life that she might not be able to recover from.

Choose wisely.

Good books for rainy days.

Can I give 10 stars?

This series was all over the place! A human triangle with Piper in the middle. There are so many working pieces to this series I cannot go over everything. The steamy parts are not too steamy. This is a good book. Thank you M. S. Parker for a fantastic series!!! I really enjoyed the series and think others will to. Characters - phenomenal, story - twisted and yep years in your eyes to that hurt in your chest.

Beautiful, incredible story!

I totally loved reading this series from MS Parker! It was sexy, romantic, beautiful, and intense. Piper’s life is chaotic at best, and when she tries to find love that becomes a pretty chaotic process as well. Beautifully written, packed w/emotion, filled with emotion - you will not regret picking up this series!

Piper Black moved over to Las Vegas after the death of her mother as she wanted a fresh start where no one knew her but to also live out her dream at becoming a dancer. However the closest that she ever became to achieving her dream was that she works as an exotic dancer at one of the strip clubs. All through her life she feels like she has been judged no matter how hard she worked, but when her best friend tell her that she needs to come back due to a high school reunion, Piper isn't sure because of how much she doesn't exactly fit in over there.

After deciding that she is going back for the reunion the last person she was expecting to bump into and spend the night with was Reed Stirling, she knows that he is from money but she has never saw him for that, just for his personality and the fact his is kind and caring. So after making the choice of sleeping with him she can't seem to get him out of her head, but she is in for a shock when she next sees him, Reed has a secret that could ruin any chance of happiness that Piper was hoping for with him.

What will happen when it comes to her getting hurt when she enters a relationship with Reeds best friend Brock but also when Julien happens to help her through some very tough times. Will Reed go back on his word and get to be with the girl he truly loves. What will occur of Piper and Julien's friendship. Trust me when I say that you will want to read this as you go through each page, it keeps you hooked and entertained and the amount of shocks and twists that are throughout the book you will honestly not expect any of them.
I loved reading about Piper because even though she is always cautious of what everyone thinks of her she refuses to ask for help of other people, she would rather attempt to do things her way with having to struggle a bit than just have everything handed to her. I loved how the story panned out and I hope that you do aswell.

This is the entire series in one boxed set. Piper is a stripper in Vegas who makes the decision to go back to her high school reunion. In high school she was the poor scholarship kid that went to the rich elite school. She always wanted to be a dancer so after high school she went to Vegas to dance. Well it did not pan out so she ended up having to strip to pay her bills. Going back home she was a huge chance that folks would find out what she was doing but she wanted to see her old crush and she did and reconnect with him for one wild night of sex, Then she headed back to Vegas. Him none the wiser.

She is hired to be a stripper for a bachelor party which happens to be for her high school crush and his best friend hired her knowing it was her. SHOCK No the story doesn't end there.

This series you see her ups and downs. Her make good and bad decisions and in the end only she can make the correct decision. MS Parker at her best.

Kindle Unlimited is great for purchasing these!

Sometimes you can go home again.

This story is about Piper and choices both good and bad that she had made and is currently making in her life both regarding her dream of dancing and relationships.

While reading this there were times I wanted to hit the MC over the head because of the way she tried to make excuses for the guys in her life and her choices of "job".

Her self worth was minuscule at the beginning of the story due to her focus on the past.

Even though she stumbled and made poor choices, she was a like-able character - especially once she started focusing on what made her happy and moving forward instead of blaming the past. She seemed to accept her mistakes and learn from them.

I was 100% behind how the story ended. The love and passion that came at the end was heartwarming and definitely a bit steamy!

Ok reading this series I thought it was a cross between Pretty Woman and Showgirls.
Piper is a stripper in Vegas and at her reunion she has a one time thing with her school crush Reed Stirling, but a few weeks later whilst doing a private party with her roommate Rosa she encounters Reed again and this time it's not to pleasant as he is the groom to be. But Reed says he doesn't want to get married and he wants her.
At times I wanted to slap Piper flitting between three men
Reed who is a bit of a douche at the start but I warmed a little to him near the end,
Brock a complete douchebag who wouldn't know a good thing when he has it and
Julian (who I liked the most) sweet guy who only ever seen Piper as a friend. But which one of the three will she choose and get her HEA

Gets you hooked!

When I first started this box set, I thought it was another version of 'Pretty Woman,' but as you get further along you figure out it's about a young woman who is discovering herself through hardship and heartbreaking relationships. Piper is a young woman that moved to Las Vegas to strive toward her dream of dancing, unfortunately the only dancing she has been doing for the past two years is stripping. Determined to do it on her own she shut out her only friend, Ana. Through her heartbreak of another relationship going bad, she turns to her friend and finds she is not alone.
This is a very captivating series and you'll be hooked and want to finish in one sitting.

I picked up this series by chance and I was just hooked into it. I really enjoyed reading through Piper's journey as she lived on her own after the death of her mum. She is a tough girl and I'm glad that despite the difficult life she had, she didn't wallow in self-pity. Being a stripper was all she could do given that she didn't finish college and her love for dancing but that didn't mean she didn't have her principles.

The characters were really likable especially Julien. He came as a surprise but the development of their relationship was the sweetest. I liked Reed too in spite of the mistakes he made.

This is my first book by MS Parker and I'm definitely gonna check out the rest of her books.

I really hate saying this, because I love Parkers books. But the only thing that I even remotely liked about the heroine was her name. Piper is a cool name. I enjoy angst in the books that I read, but this wasn't angst on Pipers part. It was plain, unadulterated stupidity. All of the other heroines that I have read, who began life impoverished, eventually gave their naysayers a beat down. Unfortunately, our lovely Piper did not. We read about her continued poverty, and insecurities about herself regarding her social status. The only heroine that I disliked to this degree was Kiera in Thoughtless. I'm sorry, Ms. Parker. I'll keep reading your books, but please, please, please write future heroines women with stronger constitutions, ladies of grace and dignity.

Very dark story

This shows the steady side of working as a stripper in Las Vegas. The story shows how a family illness in America leads to a young girl having no money for college and her slow decline to becoming a stripper, when she tried to do professional dance. The book shows how she tries to maintain her self esteem, but shows how this is chipped away by how men treat her in and out of work. The stigma of her job gives people free rain to emotionally and physically abuse her so she struggles to have any self belief. Dark subject matter. Part of Kindle Unlimited.

I am not sure how I feel about this book.... I give the author full credit for her writting style, and it definately kept me wanting to read more and more. However, i was not happy with how some parts turned out. I dont want to give any of the story away, but lets just say expect the unexpected sometimes. Kind of like a who done it mystery read, only it was a who does she want romance. I will definately read more of this author in the future.
