Rate this book
A BBW BWWM shifter romance, and the beginning of a paranormal universe that will rock your world.

In a world which knows of paranormal activity but is still largely in the dark about the finer details, the curvy Jessica Brown and best friend Trina do all they can to bring light to the subject via www.thetruth885.com. Chasing up leads, speaking to victims; it's all part of the job.

Never one to take the safe option, when Jess gets a tip off about a gathering of werewolves like no human has ever seen, her and Trina attend, planning to observe from the outskirts. The last thing she expects though is to not only come face to face with pack members, but to gain the attention of not one, but two hot shifters who are looking for a mate. However, it soon becomes apparent they'd rather share than fight over her...

How will Jess react to the attention of these two alpha werewolves? And what will this mean for the underworld and human world mixing as a whole? Find out in this sexy new paranormal romance by Paige Cooper. This story mixes paranormals, hot sex scenes, humor and more.

Warning: Suitable for 18s and overs only due to hot love making scenes and threesomes. If a beautiful curvy woman being pleasured by two sexy men sounds like your kind of thing, this is the book for you!

Alright just made me wonder how old the author was because it seemed a bit naïve and the scenes were really forced. The storyline was at times weak and missing so you really just wanted it to be over to see what happened and finish it. In all this was alright just needed a bit more work and a little more time to develop the story.

This book has really great cover art and the premise makes this out to be a fun story, but I had so many problems with this novella.

1. Too much telling. 50% of this book consists of a dry narrative that is terribly boring to wade through because it lacks detail and emotion.

2. No emotional connection to the characters. Because of the dry narrative there is no emotional connection to the characters. I really didn't care what happened next.

3. Ridiculous circumstances-
One sentence the narrative is describing a site like area 51 that exists in Yosemite, the next they are talking about Alaska, and then the black hills. I was so confused since I have a basic concept of the American map, so I know that these places are very far apart. It took me a page to realize that they were describing a network of caves that linked across the map.

So these 2 city girls get an email one September day and the next day they are hiking through the mountains for 12 hours with just the "basic equipment." First, they didn't have to call in to their jobs? Did they had time off? I couldn't do that at my job, just call in and say I needed a couple of days or just take off without covering my shift. Just sayin.

And, I have hiked in the hills (not mountains) of Ohio for 2-3 hours while in the best shape of my life and let me tell you, its hot and sweaty. You are tired afterward and there will be lots of breaks in between! But these girls just seem to breeze through a mountain trek while carrying equipment and managing to avoid trained military experts.

Overall: This wasn't the novella for me, but it has a nicely designed cover.

This book was far fetched and unbelievable, yet I had a lot of fun reading it somehow. The heroine accepted her fate as the mate of two werewolves way too easily. She never seemed afraid or questioned anything. She just kind of went along with the flow of things. This was a good book to unwind with. It was fun, quick and entertaining.

Stupid. The world building was pretty grand but was wasted on boring one dimensional characters with no personality and bad sex. I wanted to really see this world and see some real characters live in it. I don't know, maybe I'm asking too much, but that's my two cents.

A new spin

The story moves very quickly, establishing the obsession with the paranormal. A little uneasy with the speed with which she accepts two wolves and commits. Entertaining.
