El libro inicio con algunas incoherencias que me hicieron pensar que no seria muy bueno, pero la verdad es que con ayudas visuales y la manera en que esta contado, se torno bastante interesante y ameno para la lectura.

A diferencia de otros libros se concentra un poco mas en la política y en especial en la demarcación de fronteras con sus vecinos, lastima que solo llegara hasta la guerra civil del año 48. La historia contada de la época colonial también es bastante interesante, especialmente las rutas de colonización tomadas por diferentes conquistadores.
