Linc: Thorne Brother Series

Rate this book
He’s a high-powered attorney with everything to lose. She’s a small-town massage therapist with nothing to prove. Their worlds were never meant to collide—until fate stepped in.

At thirty-four, Lincoln Thorne is one of Los Angeles’ most sought-after defense attorneys—and most notorious bachelors. With money, power, and top models on his arm, he’s used to getting whatever he wants. But when he crosses paths with Everly Bryant, a soft-spoken, grounded twenty-three-year-old at the courthouse, something shifts. She’s unlike anyone he’s ever known… and the first woman to truly tell him no.

She wanted a quiet life in a loud city—not a love story with a man the world can't stop watching. But from the moment she meets Lincoln, she’s swept into a world of luxury, secrets, and danger she never saw coming. As the past threatens to unravel everything, Lincoln and Everly must decide—will they let fear destroy what they’ve found, or fight for the once-in-a-lifetime love neither expected?

Sexy, emotional, and full of heart, Linc is the captivating first book in the Thorne Brother series.

This is book 1 in the Thorne brothers series.. Amber’s second series, and omg I love it just as much as I loved her first series!🥰🥰

Linc is a playboy attorney and Everly is a small town massage therapist..

Linc is obsessed and knows immediately that Everly is the ONE he’s gonna marry.. and wow does he try to prove to her that they WILL be married..

It’s so fresh to read a age gap romance and they DONT focus on the age gap! I personally love age gap romances but hate when they dwell on their age gap.. this book never once gave me that feeling! It literally made me swoon the entire time!

I love a man who is so down bad for a woman and will do anything and everything to show her how much he’s in love and obsessed with her.. this book is so bingeable and honestly once you start you won’t want to put it down..

Quotes:
“You are all that matters to me. When I saw you yesterday, it did something to me. Something that I’ve never experienced before. It was like you called to me and I had to know who you were.” This is book 1 in the Thorne brothers series.. Amber’s second series, and omg I love it just as much as I loved her first series!🥰🥰

I loved it! stayed up all night to finish it, I did not want to put it down! I'm usually a slow-burn type of girl, but let me tell you, this love at first sight was good! You just knew something was going to happen and let me tell you.... it did not disappoint, I loved how it all unfolded, and I can't wait for Levi's book!

BOOK REVIEW — Linc by Amber Allee ✨
⭐️ 5 stars 💎

Vibes:
🔥 Contemporary romance
⚖️ Powerful MMC × grounded FMC
💔 Emotional healing + vulnerability
💎 Fast life vs quiet strength
❤️ Slow-burn, protective love

This story centers on Lincoln Thorne, a high-profile attorney used to control, attention, and getting what he wants, and Everly Bryant, a calm, steady presence who isn’t impressed by status or power. When they meet, the connection isn’t instant fireworks — it’s curiosity, resistance, and a pull neither of them expects.

Everly is rooted and self-assured, even in a world that’s louder and flashier than anything she wants. Lincoln, on the other hand, lives in pressure and spotlight. Watching him slow down around her — and watching her refuse to lose herself in his world — is what makes this romance work so well.

What I Loved:
✨ Everly’s quiet confidence and refusal to be dazzled
🔥 Lincoln’s protective instincts growing alongside real emotional vulnerability
💔 The tension between a simple life and a high-stakes one
💎 How love forces Lincoln to reevaluate everything he prioritizes
❤️ A slow-burn relationship built on choice, not convenience

Final Thoughts:
Linc is emotional, sexy, and deeply character-driven. I loved how grounded Everly stays and how much Lincoln has to grow to deserve her. If you’re into protective MMCs, strong FMCs, and a romance that builds through trust and emotional risk, this one is absolutely worth the read.

I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of Linc, the first book in the Thorne Brothers series by Amber Allee! She brings the tension, family dynamics, and just the right amount of heat!

Linc is the definition of the broody billionaire with a guarded heart and heavy past. The chemistry sizzles from the start, but it’s the emotional slow burn that really sells it. Everly is no damsel, she holds her own and challenges Linc in the best ways. Their connection feels raw, sometimes messy, but full of emotion and heart.

Amber lays the groundwork for the rest of the series, giving us glimpses of the other Thorne without stealing the spotlight from Linc’s journey. The pacing dipped slightly in the middle for me, but the payoff was worth it!

Amber clearly plans to wreck us one brother at a time! Grateful to be along for the ride from the beginning and can’t wait for the second book!

So this book is about this super successful, kind of intimidating attorney who’s used to being in control of everything in his life — until he meets this down-to-earth, no-nonsense woman who’s nothing like the people he’s usually surrounded by. She’s younger, has a totally different vibe, and isn’t impressed by his usual charm at all. And that pretty much flips his whole world upside down.

What I loved is that it’s not just another big-city-guy-meets-small-town-girl story. There’s this instant connection between them, but it’s not rushed — you get to watch them navigate the differences in their worlds while trying to figure out if what they’ve found is real. It’s sweet, a little steamy, and honestly just gives you that feeling of watching two people fall unexpectedly, but deeply, for each other.

It’s the kind of romance that feels like it shouldn’t work — but it totally does.

This book started great and I liked the characters and their interactions. But then I was left wanting and more questions than answers.. 1) Kevin tried to screw him over personally. Why? Never referred to him again. 2) Linc is this wonderful thoughtful guy taking his time with Everly. Then the truth about his relationship with Blaire and models come to light and honestly didn't like that version of him or understand why it was necessary in storyline. He was crude in answering her questions. Not nice after all. 3) He has this foundation and is this wonderful guy. Never really explained what, why, how and doesn't tie in with guy paying to have sex with young models ie abusing his power ? 4) They are in news and photographed together but his brother and her best friend don't connect the dots until she is hospitalized? Really?!

What do you get when you get a high-powered attorney and a small town girl. A lot of smoke. This is an age gap romance, he is full of himself as most lawyer are and she is young unexperienced. Linc has a history with many many women and during the time these two are getting together it come back to bite him in the rear. The story is insta-love very fast Linc and Everly are cute together. He is a hopeless romantic and she can’t say no. Tragically something happens and this new love is tested. This was a good read I cannot wait for book 2.

Amber Allee!!! I have to agree with your man on this book!

So good! Very well written and the storyline is great!

There is so much I want to say but it might give stuff away but I will say, Everly is the sweetest and Linc is a perfect book boyfriend!

The spice is about 🌶️🌶️ but the story is so fast past that it keeps you engaged!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I am beyond thankful for getting the opportunity to get to ARC read this book. Thank Amber for allowing me this experience.

"I never knew what living was until I met you." I had a great time reading this book! It was short but paced well and still had substance. Linc and Everly balanced each other out perfectly.

Congrats to Amber Allee on the release of Linc: Thorne Brother Series, the first book in her second series that focuses on the Thorne Brothers. This is a Lip Smacking (5 🍋) read with Jalapeños (2 🌶️) level of spice.

Ten Things to Know:
🍋 Love at First Sight
🍋 High Profile Playboy Lawyer MMC
🍋 Massage Therapist FMC
🍋 Age Gap
🍋 Different Worlds
🍋 Found Family/Family Dynamics
🍋 Emotional Scars
🍋 Tension
🍋 Spice
🍋 Cliffhanger

Linc and Everly are chefs kiss. When he explains that he doesn’t know a lot about her but the moment he saw “The light filtered through the window above us and it looked as though she was an angel standing there with a halo around her head. Stopped me straight in my tracks.” Now, you might think that Linc is all about Everly physically, but it is so much more. While there is an age gap between them, Allee gives them the chance to explain their stories rather than making age a key factor in their relationship. They might be from different worlds, but together they can make memories that the other might not experience without each other, such as Everly taking Linc to a food truck for lunch one day.

They have more in common than you might think, such as having one (or in Linc’s case two) shitty parents who made choices not to be in their children’s lives at vital times. Thankfully for Linc and Levi they had an aunt and uncle (and a cousin turned brother, Reid) who adopted them and took them under their wings. Everly’s mom left and her father was in the military, but she was able to find a family in her neighbor turned best friend, Saylor, and her grandparents, who made it so that Everly’s father could still work and Everly was taken care of.

Everly might not be from his world but she knows how to stand on her own two feet. She can challenge Linc with the best of them, but truly has the kindest heart. She knows what she wants and what she will not stand for.

Linc is a competitive hotshot lawyer who believes “everyone deserves to have the right to a fair trial and counsel.” Which leads him to having some very interesting defendants where he take what the DA’s office has and realizes where the holes are to help his clients have a fair chance rather than getting railroaded by a lawyer who would rather put their case in jeopardy with fake evidence or manipulation. He looks for a more balance playing field than anything else, at least in my opinion.

There is so much to get into when it comes to the Thorne Brothers with two lawyers (Linc and Levi) and a dentist (Reid), you never know where there drama and tension is going to come from.

It seems this series is going to keep me captivated just as much as her Las Vegas Mafia series, which The Prince: Las Vegas Mafia Series is book one of that series and you need to check it out if you haven’t already. The cliffhanger had me screaming into my pillow at Allee has planned for us in the future. Personally, I can’t wait.

ARC REVIEW

"Linc"

by Amber Allee

This is book 1 in the Thorne brothers series

The blurb: "He’s a high-powered attorney with everything to lose. She’s a small-town massage therapist with nothing to prove. Their worlds were never meant to collide—until fate stepped in."

I believe this is the book with the fastest instant love of all the instant loves stories that I have ever read :)

The story of a wealthy attorney that lays eyes on a woman and falls in love with her immediately. And irrevocably. And indeniably. And then his love is so persistent, that her falls too.

An age gap that has love (have I mentioned love before? :), and spice, and is great to read.

Thank you to author for the opportunity to ARC this book.

---

some of my favorite quotes:

My aunt always said growing up, “If you want something bad enough then say it into existence.” So, with every part of my being, I give a it try for the first time.
“That, my friend, was my future wife.”

Have you ever had a moment in your life where your life starts a reel like in the movies? You can just picture everything in the order it’s going to happen. You stop breathing as if you’re suspended in midair waiting for the clock to be reset. This is that moment for me. Again.

“You got plans for the next sixty-five years?” The words spilling out of me before I can stop them. I am never one to seek out women, they always find and pursue me.

I need to show her that I’m the one who’s not in her league; I’m not worthy of her but I want to be.

This woman has somehow managed to storm her way under my skin and consume me. And she doesn’t even know it.

She’s stirs something deep inside of me that I’ve never felt before.

“You are all that matters to me. When I saw you yesterday, it did something to me. Something that I’ve never experienced before. It was like you called to me and I had to know who you were.”

“Sometimes you’ve got to take a chance”

“I promise, Everly, you are the only woman in my life and the only woman I want in it.”

Everything seems easy with Everly. We talk and laugh and it’s like I’m this young kid experiencing life for the first time. She brings out the kid in me that’s been hidden for so long.

She doesn’t even know the storm brewing inside of me.

Her beautiful smile enamors me every time.

My world clicks into place, and I know that this is all I’ll ever want for the rest of my life.

“I’d never hurt you, Everly. I’ve waited my whole life for you.”
