Reed Elington knew something was wrong when his brother showed up married to a woman half his age…
And just like that, just over a year later he was dead, and she was gone with all the money!
His gut tells him there is something more to Veronica Blake. She is nowhere to be found, and he wants answers.
Langston Fields also wants answers. When Harold Ellington died, he died owing him twenty million dollars. The men team up to catch her. The police won’t listen and neither will anyone else. She was successful in convincing them that she was sweet… Innocent… Wouldn’t hurt a fly. The men want to take matters into their own hands. Deliver some street justice to this killer with the face of a goddess and a body for sin
They pursue her relentlessly, seeking justice, money or both. It is hard to look her in the face and kill her when she oozes such sex appeal, wielding it like a sharpened blade. She is like a Black Widow spider, cold and cunning and the stakes are raised when she marries another wealthy man. Reed locates her, watches her and then plots to kill her!
Reed is fuming! He doesn’t know how she is getting away with it. But she victimized the wrong man when she killed his brother and ran off with all the money. The game shifts... The gig is up… And time is running out!
It all started one day in March of 2018. I was bored. There was nothing to watch on television. And the moment of silence prompted a memory. A flashback to a time I wrote movies in a notebook. Small scenes jotted down for no particular reason. Something compelled me to make a move. I jumped up and ran to my computer, anxious to tell a story of which I could see clearly. The scenes of my cleverly crafted idea so wildly vivid. A face. A name. And twisted plots that would rival any movie.
I began typing. The keystrokes were fervent. Soon one sentence gave way to twenty. One hundred words grew to seventeen thousand. And before I knew it, I had a short story. Proof that anything is possible. So, you might ask if I always wanted to be a writer? Was it somewhere in the back of my mind? No! It wasn’t. But I knew I was creative. And I knew I could tell a story. The rest is history. Now I can say I wrote a book that became a best seller. Downloaded for many book lovers to read and enjoy. And the journey is still fresh. There is so much more to write. I am just getting started!
I was so into this book you have a very twisted mind I loved every single page you had me going thinking one thing and then bam switch and bait it was truly a great read would love if there could be a part 2. Thank you again for such a suspenseful book.
At first I thought it would have been a collaboration with Jade Jones Black Widow but I was wrong. This book was very good. I'll admit it was a slow burn in the beginning but I came around to. Overall, the book is interesting and good.
