It's a little outdated. It doesn't refer to any occurrences after the mid-90s and at one point mentions the "Soviet" population of stellar sea lions. But it was still very thought-provoking, and the photographs are gorgeous.

A very insightful book that, while giving a jostling wake-up-call as to the dire situation out natural spaces are in, provides hope and potential solutions to the environmental problems we face.

This book talks about different endangered animals and things. This is a good book to use in a text set or for research projects/papers or just have in a classroom library. I really like the detail in the pictures in this text, the pictures look like lifelike. Really good book.
