I picked this up for free during a SYK promotion day and ended up enjoying it far more than I expected. The story leans into BDSM themes, but the sapphic focus gives it a refreshing and engaging perspective that really worked for me. The characters were compelling, the dynamics felt intentional rather than gratuitous, and the overall tone struck a good balance between heat and emotional connection. By the time I finished, I was invested enough in the world and the relationships that I immediately went to purchase the other books in the series. Definitely a worthwhile read if you enjoy sapphic spicy shorts with an edge.

If you are looking for short, hot read look no further. This is well written, well paced, and well worth a read!

There’s no plot to speak of but the dynamic of the characters are presented perfectly. This quick snippet into the dynamics of their relationship were effortlessly explained, without it feeling like an explanation.

I’m looking forward to reading the others from this series.

this is only 24 pages long so i don't have a lot to say about this but this was both poetically written and so hot my wife almost didn't survive me pouncing on her when i finished this at bedtime 🥵

This short story takes you on a journey. Told in first person, you are instantly pulled into the narrative, creating a spicy immersive experience. Hunter does a great job building out the characters, especially for such a short piece. This story is vivid, visceral, and the spice is spicing.
