Daybreak: A prayer book for children is a collection of prayers and Scriptures to help teach and encourage children to build a personal relationship with God. The prayers will also teach children how to develop a daily prayer life. Prayer is simply communicating with God. When we pray we have to have faith to believe, and never lose hope. There is power in prayer. Prayer changes things.

Daybreak: A Prayer Book for Children was send to me through the Good Reads First Reads program. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the prayers as well as the background of these children's books. I plan to look for others in the series as I think these would make excellent gifts for young children and to be given for achievements in their Bible studies. I think the prayers are very well done and was surprised to read that most were written by children. Lovely way for children to learn to pray and trust that God hears them. Thanks for the lovely pen as well.
This is an excellent book to encourage children to pray. Included are prayers written by children ages 8-13, model prayers and pages for the owner to write prayers. The cover art will appeal to girls in particular. As a child I would have wanted to receive this from my Sunday school teacher or be in an Easter basket.I received a copy from Goodreads First Reads.
Loved this wonderful prayer book for children. It can be used as a faith builder as it will encourage children to pray. The book contains written prayers but there are pages for a child to write his or her own prayers. Excellent gift for a child.
