Anyone but you was the first book I have read by Olivia Spring and it definitely won't be the last. This was the fourth book in the Love Hotel series, however each book can be read as a standalone.

The story provided humour, sarcasm, spice and heartfelt/deep moments. I loved the journey that both Halle and Jake went on throughout the book.

In the past they had both been hurt, treated badly and had their trust broken. They had their guards up for different reasons. And their reasons for going to the Love Hotel couldn't have been further apart.

However, the more time Halle and Jake spent together, the more they realised their was more to one another than first met the eye and that they actually were a great match.

I loved seeing the character growth and their love develop.

Olivia found the perfect balance of making it a fun, flirty nice easy read whilst also tackling some difficult issues.

Thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

3.75 rounded to 4 stars for me.

Ex-rock star Jake have it all,but bad luck and wrong people in his life cost him a lot.His agent comes with the idea of Love Hotel, a hotel that may be his ticket to be a star again. Halle is looking for love and Love Hotel is the answer, but not her match who is a rock star just like her cheating ex. Sience there is no choice, Jack and Hallie need to at least try to find connection. What happened to be dislike soon may change to like, and maybe something more?

Will Jack get his celebrity status back?
Will Hallie find her love match?

This book was a pleasurable read. I liked that the connection between Jack and Halle was not forced, they first become friends and then progress to lovers. The spice was great, and I was happy with the ending. I felt like it was summer again, a good sunny romance with HEA. My first book by this author, and hope to read more.

I would recommend this book for romance with a spice fans.

Thank you netgalley and publisher Boldwood Books for arc,my review is honest and my own.

This is book number 4 in the Love Hotel series and I have so far liked them all! This is a love to hate kind of romance in the lovely forced promixety in Paradis. A Rockstar and a woman who doesn't want to date more celebreties. Banter, spice and a heartfelt story delivered by O. Springs!
This one are for the book people not done with summertime☀️

Olivia Spring knocks it out of the park again with this enemies-to-lovers (on her side) rockstar vacation romance! I love how much Jake and Halle grew to appreciate and love each other even when they were claiming it was just a steamy fling. I also loved that they brought out the best in each other and encouraged each other’s dreams. Even if their HEA was a little short, it was still perfect. Thank you to Boldwood Books and Love Books Tours for the opportunity to read this early!

Anyone But You is book four in The Love Hotel series, they all deliver sun and a chance of love. In this book, we meet Halle, who is searching for a true connection and a chance of a genuine relationship, but unfortunately for her, she's paired with ex-rock star Jake. He's gorgeous and attracts a lot of attention, the only trouble is Halle quite literally has zero interest in dating a celeb.
They get off to a frosty start, Halle has her walls up, and Jake can't understand why his charms aren't working on her. Being hounded by his manager, he's under pressure to upload photos of himself and Halle in this idyllic hotel, feigning love!
This is where the wonderful Love Alchemist, Sammie (our heroine from book three), steps in, she encourages Halle to give it some time, go on the organised dates, and enjoy herself. It's not like she isn't attracted to the "hot" ex-rock star whose photo once adorned her walls. When a horse-riding date gets off to a rocky start, Jake’s true colours begin to show, he's caring, kind, and gentle, the complete opposite of what Halle had expected.
The more time they spend together, the more they give into their attraction, movies under the stars and hammocks will forever bring back memories of them!
I would absolutely recommend this book, it could be read as a standalone, but I honestly think reading the series brings so much more to the story as the side characters have themselves had their own books.
I did feel this started off slower than previous books in the series, but once I got to around 40%, I flew through the rest within a day.
Thank you NetGalley, Olivia Spring and Boldwood Books for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

This is the fourth book in the Love Hotel series, but it works perfectly as a standalone. You can jump right into any of the books in this series without having to worry about spoilers, but if you have read the previous books, you'll definitely enjoy the little nods to past characters.

Dating a rockstar might sound like a dream come true, unless you're Halle, who has completely sworn off dating anyone with even a hint of fame! Halle and Jake were easy characters to like, with plenty of witty banter and well-written, mildly slow-burning chemistry to die for! The luxury hotel settings in every single one of these books is so much fun.

If you are looking for a feel-good, light and fluffy read that's easy to immerse yourself in, with a bit of spice, any one of the books in this series would be perfect!

Wow, wow. I absolutely loved this book. Olivia Spring became one of my favourite authors after reading this, and I just couldn’t stop turning the pages. From the first chapter, I laughed so much. Halle and Jake were amazing together, and their banter was hilarious and witty. I didn’t know what to expect from Jake at first, but then I completely fell in love with him. Halle was so funny and sarcastic, I kept smiling all the time. The chemistry between them was perfect and the romance really made my heart melt. Overall it was just a gorgeous, happy read. Thank you so much to the author and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving a honest review

This was a really enjoyable book! I loved the story, and it was fun, and at times, a spicy read. The cover is good. I like the design and colours. The book is well written and flows nicely. The setting is luxurious. The hotel itself sounds stunning, and I love the aesthetic. It's also set in a higher area of California. The surroundings are breathtaking. The characters are good, and they all fit in nicely with the story. I did like Halle and Jake. Their dynamic was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic! I definitely recommend this one and its series!!

Another instalment of The Love Hotel series that I could not put down!

Where do I sign up?!
Next location pleaseeee?!
Ultimate summer romance vibes 😎

I had put my summer tbr pile aside until I was given access to this! As always, The Love Hotel puts you right back into the midst of summer! The characters are likeable, fun and always have a background or story that immediately draws you in.

I was wary of Jake at first, I was convinced he was going to be ultimate ‘f**k boy’ material. He proved me wrong and I think by the end of the book he was one of my favourite characters. The chemistry between the characters is fluffy, fun and one for the slow burn fans.

The fourth instalment to The Love Hotel series is definitely a lot more 🌶️ compared to the others, the slow building of a romance that seems to be just for the summer was really enjoyable. I did miss that they didn’t seem to do as many activities or ‘dates’ in comparison to the other books.

I love how Olivia writes, the stories are so easy to follow, the characters have their own side story and yet come together to form a new story altogether.

Unfortunately, I had to DNF around 60% and I acknowledge it's a 'me problem.' The romance just didn't stand out to me.

The plot might interest others. The fmc is traumatized by her past relationship with a Rock Star. But she feels ready to find love. Her friend convinces her to try out a Love Hotel experience. She gets paired with a former Rock Star who is struggling in life overall. His manager wants him to experience the Love Hotel to hopefully get him a reality TV gig to get back in the limelight. The fmc heavily judges the mmc based on her past experience with a celebrity. She would love to be paired with someone else, but maybe he's worth getting to know.

I received this as an arc copy through Netgalley.

This time we are following Halle and Jake, They say opposites attract... right?
This romcom had me laughing out loud and cringing in embarrassment for the characters. The author's writing is effortless, and loved the banter and all of the characters in this book . Beyond the humor, the story delivers heartwarming moments and swoon-worthy scenes. The perfect blend of spice, romance, and comedy makes this book a must-read for fans of the genre.

If you're looking for a lighthearted, engaging romance with a dash of spice, this book is for you. With its relatable characters, witty dialogue, and heartfelt moments, it's a true page-turner.

I look forward to reading all Olivia’s next Love Hotel story and highly recommend to all spicy romance loving friends.

This is my second Love Hotel book to read and when I first started it, I was worried it was going to be too similar. I was wrong and I ended up loving it! I found it so endearing that the "celebrity" in the book had insecurities and difficulties being vulnerable like the rest of us. There is some spice, but not too much. I would definitely add this to your TBR. Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

I really enjoy this story, but I think the sex scenes are more present here than in the love library series, so if smut is not your cup of tea, then you may need to skim/skip some parts of several chapters.

Overall I loved the characters as always and the banter. The setting was just like with all The Love Hotel books absolutely beautiful and so easy to picture what it would be like to actually be there.

Despite smut or open door sex scenes not being my cup of tea, I will still want to read everything Olivia Spring writes. That's how much I enjoy her writing style and characters!

Book Review; Anyone But You by Olivia Spring
Thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the gifted ARC.

This is a matchmaking romance set in a luxury hotel with ocean views, fruity cocktails, and a brooding rockstar who thinks social media is evil. Sold? You should be. Anyone But You is The Bachelor meets fake dating mayhem—with actual chemistry and sharp, flirty dialogue.

Enter Jake Myers, ex-boyband heartthrob with a PR problem. He agrees (read: is dragged) into Love Hotel—a place where algorithmic matchmaking and camera crews collide—to fake-date his way to redemption. He’s expecting an easy PR win. What he gets is Halle Remington.

Halle, burned by a celebrity romance, is here for safe, emotionally available IT consultants. Instead, she gets Jake: cocky, tattooed, and a walking red flag. She’s horrified. He’s amused. Sparks fly.

It’s every romcom trope we love: fake dating, forced proximity, opposites attract. But Olivia Spring elevates it with razor-sharp banter, sizzling slow burns, and a total lack of pretense. This isn’t romcom dressed up as lit fic—it’s a beach read that owns its chaos.

Halle is type-A, spreadsheet queen. Jake is all swagger and damage. Their chemistry? Off the charts. They tear into each other, call each other out, and slowly unravel in the best way. Jake’s not just a swaggering lead—he’s a guy trying to be more than his brand. And Halle sees him.

Quote of the book: “Baby, I might sing like an angel, but I **** like a devil.” It’s unhinged. It’s iconic. It’s perfect.

Side characters shine too—Halle’s blunt best friend, Jake’s chaotic agent, and the Love Hotel staff who treat matchmaking like a competitive sport.

Is it realistic? Absolutely not. Do I care? Absolutely not. This book is fun, fast, messy, and unexpectedly sweet—like tequila chased with cotton candy.

Final verdict: 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. I laughed, blushed, and screamed “JUST KISS” multiple times. Olivia Spring delivers again. Book your stay at the Love Hotel.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me the privilege of being able to read this book. I really appreciate it.

I had the privilege of being able to also arc read the previous book in this series, and I am so glad I was able to come back to this incredible world Olivia Spring has created! You really don't need to read this series in order, you can completely read them however you would like as their amazing interconnected standalones!

Halle and Jack were incredible together! Honestly their my favourite couple and story so far! Watching Halle grow and come out of her shell that her horrible ex put her in was amazing, and seeing Jack find himself again after so much heartbreak was so beautiful! Getting to see Sammie and Romeo again too was so awesome and it reminded me of how I fell for them too! This book was so much fun, I laughed out loud at a lot of their earlier banter, and I was giddy when they finally started to fall in love too! Also Olivia Spring brought the spice again in so many creative ways! The ending will get you, it was perfect along with that unintentional revenge on Halle's ex! I laughed so hard reading that!

This was honestly so refreshing to read! It was an all around great romance with everything you're looking for inside, mixed with so much fun! I've missed reading just a fun romance read where the author makes it so obvious how despite their differences the characters accept each other as they are, and love each other for who they really are! It's just so real and the two of them are perfect for each other!

If you're looking for an all-around fun romance to brighten your day with, this is is it completely! Also you're going to want your own Jake too, especially towards the end!

Thank you so very much again for allowing me the absolute privilege of being able to read this book. I really appreciate it and I absolutely loved it!

Olivia Spring’s Anyone But You is a fizzy, modern rom-com that flips the childhood-enemy trope into something warm, witty, and surprisingly heartfelt. The story centers on Sophie, a determined and slightly neurotic marketing exec, and Jack, her older brother’s best friend who once made her teenage years miserable. When Sophie’s career implodes and she’s forced to move back to her hometown, she’s horrified to discover that Jack—now a charming, infuriatingly handsome entrepreneur—lives next door. Cue awkward encounters, neighborhood gossip, and a forced-proximity arrangement that’s a rom-com goldmine.

Spring plays with the tension beautifully. The banter sparkles, but what elevates this book is how it shows two fully grown adults trying to shed the labels they wore as teens. Jack isn’t the cocky prankster anymore, and Sophie isn’t the awkward younger sister figure. They’re equals with their own bruises and ambitions, and watching them rewrite their narrative from “anyone but you” to “only you” feels deeply satisfying.

There’s a breezy quality to Spring’s prose—quick-fire dialogue, sharp observations, and a streak of humor that never veers into caricature. At the same time, she threads in moments of vulnerability about career uncertainty, self-worth, and the fear of repeating old mistakes. The secondary cast (especially Sophie’s meddling family and Jack’s loyal dog!) rounds out the cozy small-town vibe without hijacking the story.

If you love your romance with equal parts nostalgia and fresh heat, Anyone But You delivers. It’s witty, heart-skippy, and full of the little grace notes—text messages, inside jokes, shared memories—that make a love story believable.

Pawprint verdict: four and a half pawprints for a funny, heartfelt, and swoony enemies-to-lovers story that proves sometimes the last person you’d pick is exactly the right one.

Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Can someone sign up for The Love Hotel?🏩

Gotta say that even though I jumped straight to the fourth book in the series it is so well made that it doesn't make you feel like you have to read the previous book to understand the interactions going on in this story while leaving a good taste and making you want to read the rest of the series, this book was romantic fun and perfectly spicy, and the romcom vives where immaculate.

I loved love Halle as a whole, specially her knowing what she wants and standing up for it because trust me if anyone from my bandboy fangirl days Showed up as my match anywhere in my life I don't think I could Reject them or tell them slightly off like she did to Jake when it was needed.

On the not positive side i gotta say that it felt over explained at times, and that's not a uniqueness to Spring as an author but a symptom i've been noticing in romance more and more, i don't feel like readers need every action of the characters to be explained right after is made

~Blurb~

After a horrible a very public breakup Halle decides to stay out of the dating scene and social media, so when she decides is finally her time to go back at the dating pool by taking her -and her friends Vaness's- savings into a stay at The Love Hotel in California where she's sure she'll find the love of her life, so when she arrives to meet her match and it turns out is famous pop star Jake who has a fuck boy reputationg on his side and aparenly is very into social media she has to decide if she should go with the flow and trust The Love Hotel experts on her match or just wait it out jus to go back to her single life in New York.

Absolutely amazing!!! Olivia is definitely one of my most favourite authors and I always look forward to her books! Anyone But You is actually book four from The Love Hotel series of books and each book can easily be read as a stand alone but there are a few recurring characters and continuing storyline and of course they are always much better when enjoyed as part of the whole series.

The first chapter of this book is very funny and will capture your attention right from the very start. Each chapter held my attention and very easily pushed me along to the next one and the next!! Just one more chapter quickly turned into all the chapters and i finished the whole book in two days, which is amazing for me!!

I really loved Halle and Jake, they were both wonderful characters and i really enjoyed getting to know them both and finding out how their stories unfolded. The more I got to know Jake and what had happened to him the more I fell in love with him!

The setting in California was glorious and through Olivia’s wonderful writing style I could imagine being at all the different places and feel what it would be like to be there - perfect armchair travel!

There were some very funny moments throughout the story and they had me crying with laughter…there was also some very witty banter too and Halle especially came out with some very humorous things, that made me howl with laughter!

There were also some very sweet & heartwarming moments too and swoonworthy & romantic parts that made my heart melt.

Overall this book was gorgeously romantic but with a cheeky, delicious, sprinkle of spiciness too. It made me laugh, it made me swoon and it definitely made my heart very very happy. Oh, and it also made me very intrigued into what the next book in the series was going to be like…..

** Thank you so much to the author for the ARC **

“Anyone but You” explores the rocky relationship between Jake, a musician who’s trying to get back into the spotlight, and Halle, a woman who just wants to find love with anyone but a celebrity. When they get paired at the “Love hotel”, sparks fly, but not from love, but from scorn! Halle sees in Jake everything bad her ex was to her, and Jake just wants to get back to being a musician and doing what he loves. Through a series of events, Halle finds out Jake is clearly not like her ex, and Jake finds in Halle the person he didn’t even know he needed.

I loved both characters, both Halle and Jake have suffered a lot in the past, although differently. Halle had to endure being cheated on and reading nasty comments about her online. Social media comment section is a lawless jungle, and Halle had to heal a lot to put herself out there and start allowing herself to love. She’s very down to earth, and while vulnerable, that does not make her weak. She just needs a little boost of confidence to take risks on things that make her happy, and that’s adorable.

It’s also adorable that Jake was her biggest cheerleader! We love a man who’s not afraid of their girlfriend’s success. He sees how much talented Halle is with nails and how much she loves that, and he encourages her to pursue it but also helps her get her first clients. Just like Halle helps Jake with his music just by being there for him. She doesn’t want him for the spotlight, he’s basically broke, and she even wants to help him just like he helped her.

“Anyone But You” is absolutely charming since it pairs two opposite people who will be each other’s biggest cheerleaders. It’s cute, it’s sexy, it’s vulnerable, and it’s just so much fun to read two adults being able to mend their hearts and find happiness together.

This was my first Olivia Spring novel and it certainly won’t be my last. Halfway through reading and enjoying Anyone But You I was researching other novels and found out this is part of series called The Love Hotel in which this is the new instalment. At no point did I feel disadvantaged to have come in at book 4 and it can definitely be read as a complete standalone.
The backdrop of California was the perfect setting and made it a fantastic read for this time of year where the nights are drawing in and cold temperatures taking hold. It brightened up my evenings thinking of the heat of the American sun on my skin. It wasn’t just the setting that can warmed me up as a reader but the spicy scenes were very well written, always fitted with the storyline and pace of the novel.
The main characters Halle and Jake were fantastic I was rooting for them both the whole way through. They both had their individual struggles which were dealt with total compassion and humility. Jake’s struggles were hard hitting and gut wrenching especially surrounding his sister.
I’m so glad that the ending wasn’t rushed like so many other books in the genre. Also the way Halle and Jake communicated and resolved issues as they came up like the adults they were was something really refreshing when it comes to romance novels. The relationship that Olivia creates feels completely natural and real. I didn’t feel like I was reading about two fictional characters Halle and Jake could completely be real people at the Love Hotel right now.

🎀 Review: This book hooked me right from the start with its fun and unique premise—a matchmaking “Love Hotel” designed to bring couples together. From page one, I was fully invested in the story and couldn’t wait to see where it would go. The dual POV format was also a highlight for me; it made me feel closer to both characters and gave great insight into their feelings. I adored all the group excursions and dates sprinkled throughout the book. They added charm and plenty of swoony moments. While the story was predictable, it was in the best way—comforting and satisfying, like exactly what you want from a romance. The third-act breakup really tugged at my heart, but I loved that it was resolved quickly and maturely, without dragging on unnecessarily. What really stood out for me was the rivalry between the main characters. In so many romances, the enemies-to-lovers dynamic can feel forced or exaggerated, but here it was written in such a believable way that I completely understood their tension. It added depth and made their eventual connection so much more satisfying. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series!

Content Warnings: past cheating, past STDs, and sexual content.

Halle has “been there, done that” when it comes to dating celebrities, and it didn’t end well for her. Which is why she’s sworn off ever dating anyone in the public eye again. And when she has a chance to attend the Love Hotel, she’s ready to meet her perfect match and find true love.

Unfortunately her “perfect” match ends up being former rockstar, Jake. So much for avoiding celebrities and staying out of the public eye. There’s no way she’s giving this guy a shot. That is until she starts to get to know him a little better and realizes that maybe her assumptions about him were all wrong.

I really liked the premise of this book. It was fun and unique. The idea of the Love Hotel created the perfect forced proximity trope. And the forced proximity was definitely evident - especially for Halle.

While I did understand Halle’s dislike for the idea of dating another celebrity, there were several times that I would have like to shake her and tell her to just communicate with Jake. Her stubbornness and attitude towards Jake was extremely frustrating at times.

But overall I enjoyed this one! Once Halle started to let down her walls, it was obvious that she had a connection with Jake that went beyond physical chemistry.

Thank you to Olivia and NetGalley for this ARC, and the chance to share my honest review!

This is book 4 in Spring's Love Hotel series. A wonderful addition to the series and while I have not read all in the series prior (missing book 3 Hard to Resist) I don't feel that I was missing out on anything so I do think that while this series is interconnected, each book can be read as a standalone. In true Spring style, this book delights as she delivers a wonderfully well written romance that has great humor, banter, and a beautiful balance of sweet and steam and a heartwarming HEA. Our main characters are Halle and Jake, and I loved their banter and quickly fell in love with them as characters. Halle is witty and a bit on the sarcastic side. She's sworn off dating, well...dating anyone with even a hint of fame and really, who would blame her?!? Halle is paired with rockstar Jake at the Love Hotel and while things start off icy but the more time, they spend together the more Halle sees who Jake really is beyond the fame.
This book really is just wonderful, but I have to say I am a huge fan of Spring and her ability to blend the humor, and romance is fantastic and makes all her reads wins for me! I loved this book, and I am already looking forward to more!

This book was given to me for free at my request thanks to NetGalley and I voluntarily provided this review.

Thank you to the author and the publisher, Boldwood Books, for sharing an ARC of this book with me on NetGalley !!!

“Baby, I might sing like an Angel, but I **** like a devil. Don’t get it twisted. There’s nothing innocent about the things I want to do to you”

Sweet, cozy, hilarious, witty and spicy … could I have asked for more? Not really!! It did feel like the perfect summer romcom to read when the season is almost over and you’re clinging on to those last sensations and vibes, you really don’t want to give up on. Halle and Jake are amazing together and the way they meet … someone slap me, if it’s not the perfect meet cute !!! He was supposed to get publicity and she was in search of love … and they are matched together !!!! I believe this series has a collection of similar stories and honestly : I’m mad with myself for missing out on them !! Of what happens with these two is any indication, for every book in this series of interconnected standalones, you’re in for a great time !! Also, best friend telling you that the guy is a walking green flag?? Yeah, girl!!! When even your best friend is on board and supporting the idea … you jump !!! And Jake … the man knows how to catch you !!! Loved it !!! Absolutely did !!!

The book is 4th in the Love Hotel series which I didn't realise when I requested the book, as I haven't read any of the previous books. However this didn't stop my enjoyment. I really love these bright animated covers. This is the first book I have read by Jo Lovett but I will look out for her books in the furture and may even go back and read some of the other stories in the series.

Ex-rock star Jake used to have it all. But a fall from grace has left him with a career in tatters he is adviced by his agent to go to the Love Hotel and find romance. Looking for a second chance at finding true love, Halle has categorically sworn off musicians and social media after a painful break-up. So, when matched with notorious bad boy Jake, they’re a dating disaster waiting to happen, right?

This book was funny and full of banter between the main characters and had me laughing out loud, which made for an entertaining read. I would probably recommend to anyone who likes, forced proximity, loath to love and an opposites attract, romantic comedy. Or anyone who likes Love Island. I really enjoyed it.

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 stars)

Anyone But You by Olivia Spring is pure sunshine on the page, a flirty, funny, and surprisingly heartfelt romance. It’s the fourth book in The Love Hotel series, but it works perfectly as a standalone, so you can jump right in.

The story follows Halle, who has sworn off dating anyone famous after her rock star ex broke her heart. When she joins the Love Hotel’s matchmaking experience, she’s horrified to be paired with Jake, a washed-up musician trying to rebuild his career. What starts as reluctant teamwork slowly turns into friendship, and then something much more.

Their chemistry feels natural and unforced, with a perfect mix of banter, slow-burn tension, and genuine warmth. Spring’s writing is breezy and witty, making the Love Hotel setting feel like a dreamy vacation escape.

If some moments are a bit predictable, that’s part of the charm, you’re reading for comfort, not shock value.

Anyone But You is a fun, romantic, slightly spicy story about second chances and finding love where you least expect it. A perfect pick for fans of fake dating, enemies-to-lovers tension, and happy endings that leave you smiling.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

In the latest Love Hotel novel, readers follow ex-rock star Jake as he embarks on a fake social media romance at the new Love Hotel in California to restart his career. Another guest at the Love Hotel, Halle, has sworn off musicians and social media after a bad break up, so matching with Jake is a disaster waiting to happen. With different goals for their relationship and stuck together for two weeks at the Love Hotel, Jake and Halle will have to figure out this relationship and see if they will get what they’re looking for out of this whirlwind romance. A great continuation of the series, readers will love the tropes that Olivia Spring uses to bring the characters together over the course of the story, and the characters themselves are complex and well-written. Readers who like tropey and spicy novels will definitely enjoy this book and the rest of the series, and the emotional beats really match the overall tone of the novel and the characters’ personalities. Funny, entertaining, and romantic, readers will really enjoy the chemistry between Jake and Halle and the complications in their pasts and present in this fun and entertaining Love Hotel novel from Olivia Spring.

Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the advance copy.

This is book 4 in The Love Hotel series, I jumped into it in book 3, so they can absolutely be read as standalones, though there is a little crossover in that wee see some of the previous characters here. I really liked seeing Sammie a bit in this and the merest glimpse of Romeo to know things had continued going strong after book 3 finished.
In this one we meet retired rocker Jake and his love match, the shy and retiring Halle. Initially it seems like opposites do not attract, but then Jake shows his hero side and we all swoon a bit. Soon after sparks start to fly, and when the touch paper gets lit, its an inferno!
I love the characters, and the pure caring and support they showed for each other's ideas and dreams, it was a relationship they didn’t think would go beyond the fortnight, but they just genuinely wanted each other to succeed and thats so special to see.
It has plenty of humour, warmth, spiciness and heart.
I really love the idea of the love hotel, and its an idea that has unlimited stories to tell. I hope that there is plenty more to come from this series, I have a feeling there definitely is, and I am looking forward to it!
