What a nice read, beautiful art on top of that! I know I've read too much of co-worker trope already but never get tired of it, need more to be honest.
I didn't go into this with the want of read an enemies/rivals to lovers story, but I did see the rivals & rivals to lovers tag. I did see some people calling it enemies to lovers... Neither of those were in here. I kinda understand the rivals part, but at the same time- no. Not when it's all one-sided and makes that one person look stupid. I'm not sure if anyone who likes that kind of storyline would get anything from there not actually being a companion? There not actually being a rivalry?
Besides that, this was fine. I was more engaged with these two's characters and relationship when things got depressing. Personally, I wished that there were a scene where Hayase and Tokitou started crying in each other's arms because they were able to finally let a little bit of the weight of being The Perfect Child™ go by confiding in each other... but the ending we got was fine too, I guess.
