This is the first book in the Deadly Sins MC series by Kay Maree. This author seems to really like insta-love and I don’t mean in love after a month I mean professing their undying love after a day or two. I had to Google the word “ARVO” because I had no clue what it meant, when I saw it the first time I thought it was a typo. If you read this author’s Mine series then you are familiar with Dominic and Antonio Grasso and the various hotties that work for them who make a cameo appearance in this book. The Prologue starts two months prior, Harlow has just arrived at her sister, Julie’s apartment and found her unconscious. She calls an ambulance but unfortunately Julie was already dead of an apparent overdose, they found a needle by her body and her arm was tied off. FAST FORWARD : Two months have past and Harlow is still grieving her beloved sister and she’s convinced her sister did not overdose. Julie hated drugs and she never would’ve done them. Harlow is determined to find out who was behind Julie’s death so she has been working at Club Ivy which is where Julie was working when she died. Julie had a mysterious boyfriend named Elliot who also worked there but Harlow has yet to meet him. Harlow thinks the Deadly Sins MC is somehow behind Julie’s death. The MC is hosting a charity benefit at Club Ivy the theme is the seven deadly sins. Harlow’s six best friends are going to the party with her even though she tried to talk them out of it. There are seven of them including Harlow so each woman is dressing as one of the deadly sins, Harlow is dressed as Wrath. Drake (Mercy) is the Vice President of the Deadly Sins MC and while the club does it’s own thing they do follow certain rules :
1.) No hurting women or children
2.) No dealing drugs
3.) Protect their territory
The MC owns Club Ivy so Mercy is there overseeing the party because the President is busy elsewhere. Harlow goes to the party but doesn’t find any knew information about her sister’s death. It’s late so she tells her friends she’s leaving and when she’s outside waiting for a taxi L the bartender at the club gets very handsy with her. Mercy sees her being groped and steps up to help and offers her a ride home. Mercy is usually a one and done kind of guy and he tells Harlow that when she invites him into her house. He loves her sassy attitude and smart mouth and after a night of amazing sex he knows there’s no way he’s letting her go. The next day Harlow feels amazing but she also feels like shit because she may have slept with the enemy. Was Mercy’s MC behind Julie’s death ? Will Harlow find out the truth ?

So, this is an amazing MC romance, it's spicy and the characters are very likeable. I love a strong badass FMC. It is a great love story, you can't help but feel the love. The MMC is possessive, but I love them both so much. This is my favourite MC story so far. I am about to dive into Slolth!!! if MC romance is your thing, or romance in general, this book is great!!

Drake and Harlow are an awesome couple. I am looking forward to the rest of this MC series.

I love MC books and this was a great start to a new series. It is also a great quick read. I love how she included the guys from her Mine series and a couple other parts from Inked Temptation.

I am absolutely in love with this book, This author is taking the seven deadly sins and turning it into something we need to read. I have loved this story from begining to end and I honestly can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series, Sloth.

Mercy and Harlow are an absolute treat to read about they are both strong willed people who click, Mercy is definitely Alpha and a strong one at that. Harlow is gorgeous and strong but also delicate and loves her friends. Harlow wants answer how far will she go.

I would definitely recommend this book and author over and over again. This books storyline flowed and was easy to follow and I got emersed in the storyline and I connected with the beautiful charecters in this story. I hope you love this book as much as I have, bring on sin number 2 SLOTH. Happy Reading ♡

This is my first read from Kay and I really enjoyed it. The only negative thing I can say is that I wanted more of Drake and Harlow. But alas, novellas are short.

If you’re looking to test the MC world with a lil cameo from a Mafia this might be a good start for you. It’s dark, spicy and packs a punch.

I also liked that it was set in Australia, it’s something different from the usual American setting.

I really liked this book a lot! Harlow is looking to find who killed her sister Julie, and she runs into the Deadly Sins President Drake and from that first kiss they have this hot...hot chemistry that he claims her off the bat. A lot of things happen and of course alpha male bikers. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This was a good book

This is a new to me author. I enjoyed her writing. I liked the characters and will read the next book. Just wished it had more details, some places in the storyline feel unfinished. Like I want to read what happened not have it condensed into a short thought after. If you know what I mean. Overall I enjoyed it and want to read the next book.

This is the first of the 7 deadly sins MC novellas, and like the other books by Kay Maree, focuses on members of a motorcycle gang, and the women they fall in love with.
There is angst, drama, romance and suspense, and you can always guarantee there will be a HEA.

This is a fast paced instalove MC Romance between a sassy, tattooed woman, Harlowe, and the VP Mercy of the Deadly Sins.

Super quick read for me with a strong plot and a woman who isn’t afraid to shank a b1tch to get answers. Add on to that a caveman biker who will do anything for her.

Harlow Rodgers is hell bent on finding out what happened to her sister.she, along with her six friends, go to a party held by the Deadly Sins MC to do just that. Drake aka Mercy is the Vice President of the same MC club and just so happens to come to Harlow’s rescue on his shiny black Harley!

Be warned this is definitely a book filled with loads of the deadly sins both the MC and the old fashioned type! 😉 I loved it. There is plenty of action and drama, the mystery has a twist which I thoroughly enjoyed and yet the whole story, although it has a dark element, is on the lighter side. Very cleverly done.

I thought the inclusion of the characters from this author’s previous ‘Mine’ series was a brilliant touch and loved visiting with the boys again, and the mention of ‘Xtreme Ink’ from her Inked series was another good touch. Once again these characters were extremely likeable and I can not wait to get to know more about the rest.

Loved it! I have read all of the Mine series and saw she wrote a MC book. I loved the love story of Drake and Harlow. It is Insta love but not cheesy. I would recommend it to everyone.
