Alpha Mate

Rate this book
Alex is an alpha with a pack, but that's not enough. Somewhere out there is his fated mate, just waiting for him to claim as his own.

When he heads out into the woods on the trail of a tantalizing scent, he finds what he's been looking for: Max, a lone wolf alpha who doesn't want anything to do with Alex.

Getting another alpha to submit is a challenge, but Alex has never been one to back away from a challenge...

This short story involves two alpha shifters discovering their mate bond, with all the dominance, claiming, and knotting that entails. For adult readers only!

I was really disappointed with this work. I love Garoux's other stuff but this had such serious editing issues that I had a hard time staying with it even though it's super short. The sentences were, at times, impossible to understand. As an example:

"tracing the line of dark golden hair under his belly-button then moving approximately pinch among his nipples"

What is that?

This is also meant to be read as a serial or two-parter. Having read the next short story I can honestly tell you that it starts immediately with what is obviously the next paragraph in the story; literally the single work was just chopped in two.

Ok so I'm not a 100% on the storyline but the sex.. HOT. Rough edges, take control, power it down...
Yes, that means I liked it, thumbs up.

Storyline... well leaving to find your mate. The interaction after the first bout of sex was kind of awkward. But they WERE awkward with each other so that's understandable.
