I don't think the ending was really good. Apparently she doesn't believe in foreplay The writer wasted too much time describing the look of the man's penis. It was not romantic at all just fast sex without much else. I'm disappointed
The book started out interesting enough. I was curious to see where it would go. I was a little unhappy about the Daniel character. His presence seemed wrong. Also, I didn’t like the fact that the book ended without the fiance having to explain himself – if not to the heroine, at least to the readers. Although no reason would be acceptable, I still wanted to know why he left her, other than the fact that he was a coward, which was evident by the way he departed. Since there is a part 2, and 3 to my understanding, I won’t let this weigh heavily on my decision of whether or not to recommend the book. I believe his motives will be revealed in one of the other books.
Judging by how the book ended, I do believe the author may have taken a novel and broken it down into three books. I guess I’ll know for sure once I read the other two. There were some typos and grammatical errors, so I am disappointed in the lack of editing.
However, despite all of this, I was actually pleased enough with the book to want to continue on with the series, if for no other reasons than to find out Andrew’s reason for leaving, to see who Jaime ends up with, and the find out if I’m write (see how annoying this is) about my split-up novel theory.
I enjoyed the book, it was a nice easy read (and quite quick, given that it's part 1) but there were some surprisingly inspirational quotes in there that I could really relate to. An enjoyable read.
