Eye-opening
This book is extremely informative, plainly teaching us how to put ourselves in the best position for hearing what God is saying to us through His written and spoken Word and through our circumstances. I am grateful to have downloaded and read this book. I have fasted from entertainment (television) just these past two days that I took to read the book, and already I know that God is here with me in this quietness and ministering to me His comfort and peace as well as His guidance concerning my present situation and circumstances. Thank you Adam Houge for allowing the Lord to use you to effectively layout this teaching, which we all need as Christians in order to live this life on earth most abundantly.

Great Book
I am so glad I read this book. I will probably go over it again in the future. The one instance I was very surprised was fasting from electronic devices to better hear God's voice.
Wow I would never have thought it could be so tough and this made me realize how distracted we can be by our phones , and no wonder we do not hear from the Lord!
I also felt the Lord really touching my heart about how it is good to wait before I make a move in making decisions and not to allow others to pressure me ...I do not want to step out as you said in presumption then be out there at the wrong place wrong time and In Danger.
Thank you for your book. It is so thrilling to hear from God.

Good timing
This book came to me when I needed to make an important decision. It helped me quiet the other influences and tune into God's voice. God is love and everything I do in my life needs to align with love.

It’s a must read especially it instructs us to always pray to God before acting out otherwise we are just following our own hearts desires and miss hearing the voice of God.

I am so glad I read this book, it was enlightening. It reminded me when fasting it doesn't necessarily mean abstaining from food. Fasting from social media and electric devices would be a great way to fast. I truly enjoyed this book by Adam Houge, I will definitely read more of his books.

LIstening to God
I found this book very informative. I plan to use the lessons I learned and to talk to God before deciding on any changes in my life. I have prayed often when I needed Him to help me and everything did turn out fine but that's not the only time I pray,I talk to God nightly.

A Life Lesson
This is the second book I have completed by this author.
At first, believing that I was struggling to understand the lessons he was preaching, I realized instead that I was having trouble justifying my own life choices.
It's deep and yet so simple. And so very personal!

Barely worthy of 99¢ Kindle price
Read your Bible and pray. That pretty much sums up the whole book. Very repetitive, predictable and shallow. For 99¢ I don't feel I wasted my money.

Great study
If you have never read any of as Adam's books I highly recommend it. He uses wonderful scriptures and great insight to help you. This book was filled with answers for me.

Wonderfully written.
As a new Christian I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a gift from God to learn how to listen, and to discern what He is telling me.
