I love Star Wars, and love the sequel trilogy and the way the writer condensed the story down to be streamlined for graphic novel adaptation is great. That being said some of the character designs are so ugly I cannot stand them. Finn’s design has him looking like a giant buff dude but his head is so small and pointy compared to his body it’s absurd. Poe is super white washed as well, which is really disappointing. Kylo looks like an awkward stick figure when he’s actually built like a fridge.

This was cute. I can see it was meant more for kids. Artwork is different. I don't love it, don't hate it. Certain scenes from the movies were not in this, which was a bummer, but there WERE some scenes and dialogue that were new and that I liked.

Art was pretty good, although some of the characters’ faces were questionable. I did think a lot was glossed over. Too much explaining and telling rather than showing.
