Sustain
Finding someone you can’t live without and does right instead of what’s easy is the person you can trust. Lie’s aren’t to protect your feelings of the truth people lie to provoke you from making choices that serves their interests.
Alecia J will have you laughing, yelling and asking questions making you think you’re a cheerleader.

This book took me by surprise. This isn't the first time reading anything from this author. Honestly, I DNF her other books so I was shocked when I enjoyed this book. It was very entertaining and read like a sitcom. It had so much drama from page one. I didn't personally care for any of the characters but I liked how entertaining and distinct they were.
My favourite scenes were when Xyla went to visit her grandpa. Those scenes added a heartfelt element.
I really wanted to know more about Skye and Monte's relationship but he spent his time in a coma for the majority of the book.
Draco was so unhinged and at moments I felt like he was cringe. If he didn't have any money I am so sure Cali wouldn't give him the time of day. She really is focused on the mula and her kids. Her plot twist with Draco was predictable lol it wasn't a shocking revelation.
Jayceon is such an embarrassment. He is the epitome of an F-boy. Alecia did a great job at crafting his character. May we never meet a man like Jayceon lol The incident with the fake money was so embarrassing. He is so hardheaded and extremely immature. But just like Cali he is ruled by money which is disappointing.
Maleek and his relationship with his mother. Is a real thing. His mother was so manipulative and slick with it. All those secrets Maleek is keeping will all come out eventually and I can't wait to see how it plays out.
I didn't really fall for Savvy and Xyla's connection. I felt like it happened too fast so I'm glad she took a step back. I don't trust Savvy lol he seems too good to be true amongst a cast of toxic unhinged male characters lol The scene with him having those many dangerous dogs would've had me running out the door. Why does he need those many dogs??? I can't wait when his mask falls and Xyla gets to see the real him.
Again, a very entertaining read with vibrant funny ghetto characters. I'm keen to see how this series ends. On to the next book I go🤸🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️

A man who don’t play 🤝🏽 me 😏
One thing a bum gon have is some mf AUDACITY! I can’t wait until Cali and Xyla drop Jayceon and Leek behind… honestly them and their trifling mama can go to the deepest part of helllllllllll. Once Xyla find out that secret baby she betta do it on a headstand with Savy and make Leek watch😌. Draco and Cali both had me dying 😭😭😭😭.. they really are the perfect match …and now that she know the truth let’s see what she do with it 🫢.
One thing about Savy and Draco they always playing chess never checkers.;They stand on BIG BUSINESS they don’t play and I know the pressure that was applied and nothing compared to what they about to do.
Oh can’t wait to see what happens between Skyler and Monte… it’s obvious the love it’s still there let’s see if that’s enough to bring them back together. *skips happily over to part two 🙂↔️. *

That was wild
Savvy wanted what he wanted and was willing to do what he had to in order to stack the deck in his favor. Maleek was just a pawn used to get to Xyla. Draco saw Cali at her job oneday and has been smittened ever since. Jayceon is a lazy entitled silly man, not sure why Cali with all her ambitions would waste her time but Draco is relentless and he's determined to make her his. The ending was epic! Poor Skye she loved Monte for years but he was unwilling to give up the drug game for her, now he's lying in a coma and she's his nurse wait until he recovers what then?
Great series so far Alecia J, I didn't read the first one but this is really good, storyline is keeping me tied to my kindle lol!!!!

Bringing The Streets Home
What an amazing and hilarious book!!!…I love me some Draco and Cali and I know the chemistry is going to be off the chain with these 1!!!…Some of the things that came out their mouths had me just cackling!!!…
Cali is a true momma bear and she played no games when it came to taking care of her children and their home!!!…Jayceon really needs to go home to his arrogant, selfish ash momma!!!..
Maleek knows he is dead wrong to be playing in Xyla face like he is!!!…I truly hope she is buying her some time, because she is truly a pawn in his game!!!…
Savvy has some shattt up his sleeve and I’m sure he has a plan for both Maleek and Jayceon because they are playing with all that fire!!!…

This book was life…I was hooked from the intro…I feel like Savvy’s motive’s when it comes to Xyla are questionable however I feel he does have some feelings for her, I think he’s going to let her sort out everything with Maleek first…I don’t think he’s going to wait for to long…Maleek’s skeletons are falling out of his closet at a rapid pace even if they had some help opening the closet door 😂…Damn so Draco was actually looking at his daughter when he saw the picture of Cali’s daughter as a baby…I really would like to know what happened on the night that Cali conceived her twin’s…The plot thickens…Part 2 here I come

I really just didn't understand the loyalty to the relationships Xyla and Cali (cousins) had with Maleek and Jayceon(brothers). I could see if we go to see the good times but the good times where long gone. So to stay for the sake of staying but knowingly getting cheated on, lied to and arguing was just crazy to me. Really for me the comic relief that Cali and Draco provided saved this book. I like that the ladies stood up for themselves but they did everything but what they should have done, which was leave/break up.

I absolutely love Cali's personality. Draco is definitely her match. Now Xyla and Savvy I love them as well. I hope she come to her senses and see that Savvy is that MAN she needs and not Leek ole bum ssa. LOL. Waiting on part two. This book so good. I wonder who is Maleek's baby momma though. I feel like it's someone that Xyla knows.

I’m usually not one to write a real review. I just hit the stars, but this right here….. this book is it. It kept me interested, hanging on for the next page and definitely kept me laughing. I can”t wait to get to book 2 because I know it’s going to be fire. Definitely one of my top 10 reads for the year.❤️

Xyla better make up her mind before she loses her good thing. Maleek and Jayceon need to grow up and get away from being mama's boys. Cali has one flaw and that's being with Jayceon knowing what she knows about him. Draco knows what he wants and he is going to get it. Savvy is super petty for that last stunt 😂

Excellent
I read this book the earlier this year under a different name, it was good before, it took me back. It’s better the second time around! I laughed all over again. Drako & Savvy had me laughing all over again. The only difference I’ve noticed is Jai named changed Xyla so far! I enjoyed this book.

I enjoyed book 1 man there was a lot of betrayal. Chile Jayceon and Maleek was a piece of work. Draco and Savvy I love them they are crazy. Xyla and Cali are the definition of true friends. I can’t wait to read part 2 I need to find out more.
