This book has some sexy hot times. Unfortunately, the lack of character development and meh plot didn't keep up with the kink. There's a lot of tell not show happening. For all the back story and relationship issues, there needs to be more delving into the resolution. It just didn't hold up. And there's also a lot that seems to have occurred in book 1. I wouldn't expect to need to read the first book in a series like this, but it would seem a lot was built there and led to this story. Overall, not enough hot times to make up for the lack of everything else.

I read both BBJ and this one over the last few days and God I'm glad I did! Cowboys and kink, oh my!

This is a great take on the older woman younger man romance without making it only about that, and really was a blast to read. I love Caroline and her lists and her understandable frustration at the lack of good men to be had. I loved Jefferson, everything about him, and the hints we get about Glory and the story that's coming.

The chemistry between J and C is electric. Some of the hottest scenes I've read to date! And then there was John and Trudy's wedding. Getting to see that after Big Bad John...it was like I was there.

Very attached to all these characters now and hoping the next story will visit them again.

Going into this book I already had a strong love of these characters from book one. Book one Big Bad John is one of my go to rereads, so I know them pretty well. I was expecting a lot from book two. It delivered that and more. When RG sits down at her computer to write pure panty melting greatness comes out!!! These are two books that had me wraped up in a cocoon of sexual hotness I could not put down till I finished. I absolutely adore the fact that the or heroine is a more mature woman. You done see many HEAs written for women over 40, and it was great to read about a sexy woman not afraid of her sexuality. And LAWD Jefferson had me by the lady bits!

Only RG can make me blush with need and want to cry from such sweetness at the same time! Jefferson is decidedly my favorite Cowboy. A natural Dom through and through. Made me want to drop to my knees along with a seasoned Sub like Caroline ;)

OMG! R.G. Alexander has done it again and written a deliciously sexy story with kinky sex scenes that had me panting for more. Jefferson was just swoon-worthy and he had me melting right along with Caroline whenever he showed his dominant side with just the right amount of tenderness behind his touch. Caroline was a force to be reckoned with and Jefferson was the perfect man for her; he knew what she needed sexually and emotionally. I also loved seeing John and Trudy again and their interaction with the couple had me smiling and chuckling at times. I cannot wait to read the next story in this series.

The follow up to Big Bad John is just as hot. I liked that Caroline doesn't come off as a cougar. And, despite what others have said, I did see character development, well as much as possible in a novella. Caroline's father added depth to the novella. I am now waiting for the next in the series.

Deliciously naughty!

This was probably one of the hottest books I've read in a long while. The storyline was sweet and utterly sexy. I'm so glad Caroline got her prince after so many frogs! Such a great book! I can't wait for the next one!!
