In all honesty, I began this book on Audible and was interested when it said it was read with an audio generated voice.
The concept of the book is interesting, and I'm going to see if I can find it in print because I just couldn't get through the audio version with the voice module. Inflection and modulation were misapplied or missing entirely and it really made it hard for me to concentrate on the story.

A real look at a possible catastrophe.
Pick your poison; EMP, meteor, or social collapse, there are people who will be prepared and people who aren't. And the ones that aren't will be trying to take everything they need. A realistic look at how differing social events can skew learned mores and ethics. Good reading.

Great series
I really enjoyed this double book, took me a little while to get to grips with all the characters and the back and forth in time but once I found my bearings I loved the book!
