Sarah continues to fight for the people she loves. She lives in hiding from the Blue Ring Immortals who wish to use her DNA to cure the virus that some immortals are inflicted with. Jackson comes up with a plan to throw the immortals out of power and rid the world of them once and for all. But he can't do it without Sarah's help. With everything crashing down around Sarah, can she save her family she loves so much? Can love conquer all?
Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.
No I did Not click on the one star by mistake. I simply did not like it. it's filled with Unnecessary mayhem and melodrama, and frankly a well known patterned cycle of events. it's like reading the prequels all over again in a different setting. Sarah has evolved but not impressively so. She's very needy when it comes to Victor, she loses all sense of objectivity. While she's being played as the epitome of selflessness, she's Also vying to be The most Powerful immortal, (In the name of saving her family and loved ones of course.) Another annoying oxymoron, is how she's being referred to as "Wise" and yet All thinking processes go out the window in the face of a threat to either Alex or Victor. there's so much of the cat and mouse evil chasing it gave me grief (bored to tears, literally !) Then there was the over emphasis of "Powers" ".... we've got our powers,.. our powers are stronger than ever..." I cannot fathom why there was so much unnecessary repeated mentioning of the word "powers". It was mentioned in almost every conversation. maybe I have a pet peeve unknown to me, but it just came across dull, tedious and crass. #heavy sigh
Be that as it may, when I start something, I must finish it. So, even though reading the sequel is like walking to my hanging post, I will walk till the very end, As a brave Soldier on the frontiers of the Battle of Troy... #Takes a bow
Still lots of sappy dialogue and senseless decisions. The most amazing thing is that there are actually 7 books in this Ruby Ring series and I am on books 6!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Eternal Flame shifts back into action-heavy territory, bringing the Immortal threat front and center once again. Sarah is now a mother in hiding, a fighter for freedom, and a weapon in a much larger war. There’s a thrill to watching her step fully into her strength—she’s no longer just surviving, she’s leading. The action builds nicely, and Jackson’s plan to dismantle the Immortals adds urgency. While a few plot turns feel a bit sudden, the emotional thread—Sarah’s love for her family and her refusal to let them fall—is strong and stirring. This one is more rebellion than romance, and it works.
Good book. It took me a little bit to read because it didn't draw me in like I would like. I like the action, mystery, power of love and family and allies to help you in sticky places. some parts were action packed and awesome and others were repeat and slow. All in all pretty good!
I loved this book! I enjoyed the development of so many characters that I have grown to love. Sara really comes into her own in this novel. I can't wait for the next book!
Ahh my king and queen well I love victor and Sarah I hope in the next book which cannot wait for !! They will take back there kingdom for good and live happily ever after :) well done Chrissy
This book was not as touching as the previous. It was nice time have the blue ringed immortal storyline cleared up, but the process to get there was uncomfortable. Glad they are back in Tastia.
This book is my least favorite from the series. However, with that said, I am still in love with Victor and the story. I can't wait to see how the story will end.
This book was enjoyable. There is a lot of repetition of events from past books. The way the characters keep rehashing these events is getting really old. However, overall it was fun to read.
