About the author

Lisa Cach grew up in a farm near Portland, Oregon, a place she loves although she'd always trying to leave it. Wanderlust has led her to sail the Sargasso Sea, teach English in Japan, and trek the leech-infested jungles of Borneo. She has degrees in both English and psychology, two subjects that were fun to learn about but that guaranteed her low-paying jobs. Her father, she admits, may have been right about the MBA.

Lisa started to writing romances in her parents' basement during snatched moments from work. Since her writing career began her free time has become less and less as her novels become more and more popular. She's loved romance novels since Junior High School, and at least now she doesn't have to worry about getting caught reading one. Lisa married, and bought with her husband a home in Seattle, Washington. She describes her personal paradise as "...a pile of books, a plate of brownies, and the free time in which to enjoy them".

Besides never reading any of the other books in the series and being rather lost at times as to what was happening, this was an okay book. I rather enjoyed Lisa Cach's writing style and I definitely thought this was an interesting take on the whole tale of Arthur, Merlin, and the Excalibur. I will however say I wish there were more scenes between Arthur and Nimia as well as Merlin and Nimia. If I had read the other books in the series, I think I would have enjoyed the book a lot more.

This is the fifth book in The 1,001 Erotic Nights Series and it can be read as a stand-alone but I do recommend reading them in order. Nimia continues her journey and learns more about her powers. The story has plenty of drama and steamy sex, I really liked it. An interesting take on the creation of Excalibur.

This book took me a while to read. Mainly because it is my daughter's Sr. year so I have been busy with that. But, for the most part, pretty good story line. Does not have as much sexual scenes as I expected but the main one that it does have, WOW. Very interesting. Kept me wanting to see what happened to Nimia. Now on to the next one.
