Botox: Thriller

Attending a Botox party provided by a Saudi Arabian prince, are the ambassadors from Britain, France and the United States. Everyone who was given the bogus Botox injection at the party comes down with botulism. Investigators from Saudi Arabia and the ambassadors’ countries are called on to see if this is an act of bioterrorism.
When citizens of Israel come down with botulism caused by the same type of botulinum toxin that was given at the Saudi Arabian Botox party, CIA agent Ralph Hawthorne is assigned to work with Mossad to see if there is a relationship between these two events.
Even though this is a follow-up to my novel, “The True Virus”, this novella can be enjoyed as its own stand-alone thriller.

My name is Charles Vrooman and I have a B.S. degree in Microbiology and an A.S. degree in Computer Systems. I have been licensed by the State of California as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. I have also been registered as a Medical Technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathology for over 25 years.
I have been recognized for a number of scientific papers published in professional journals in my line of work. I have not only won an award, but have also received good reviews for my first published thriller novel – “Green Power”. “The True Virus”, is my second biotech thriller novel.
