This book focuses on Stephanie Tanner, who feels overshadowed by her new classmate, Amber Armstrong, a talented and glamorous model. When a modeling contest is announced, Stephanie is determined to prove herself. Surprisingly, Amber offers to share her modeling tips, but can Stephanie really succeed, or is Amber leading her into trouble?

Overall, I found this book wholesome and a delight to read. I loved that the characters felt true to the TV show while introducing new characters and fresh plot points. The variety in storytelling keeps the series fun, and I’ll definitely continue reading. One recurring theme in the Stephanie books is Stephanie navigating crushes, jealousy, and acting on whims to impress a boy, but thankfully, these feelings are fleeting and always resolved by the end.
