Currently, I'm focusing on M/M romance because that's been my favorite for many years. I finally took the plunge in 2015 along with my good friend and co-writer, Jocelynn Drake. We are releasing long M/M romantic suspense right now (Unbreakable Bonds) and are already planning another series as well--possibly one that combines our love of MM romance with our love of urban fantasy.
I enjoy unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places.
I do get questions about the open series out. Beri O'Dell, Crux Survivors, The Kithran Regenesis and The Brothers Bernaux are unfortunately all on hold. That publisher is in the midst of closing so I don't know what will happen with them yet. Also, they weren't selling very well either, but I'm hoping I can self-publish the last of the stories in them at some point for the fantastic fans they do have. I'm sorry for the delay.

Solid entry but I needed a bit more

Not sure exactly what was missing from this one but ot didn't hit as well as the previous one in the series did for me.
It's not a bad narrative by any stretch though, but the bad guy was obvious from their first appearance and I felt the soulmate element of this didn't get as much page time as previous entries.
Still, I liked both Ajax and Finn, and their relationship development was sweet.
I'm looking forward to Dax's book though.

Finn the Jinn & Ajax the rock star. These two were fun/sweet together. Their journey seemed more the lazy river kind than the white rapids-waterfall sort, but it worked for them. Finn had me wanting to shake some sense into him several times, had me shaking my head at his martyrdom & Eeyore views, but they eventually get it all figured out. The suspense plot in this one was good, it kept me guessing til the reveal, especially with that last trick tried. Overall, very good story, great series of snacks to devour - definitely looking forward to more as they come out.

Der Jinn Finn Kelly bekommt einen neuen Auftrag und soll dabei einen Rockstar beschützen, der sich für ein halbes Jahr aus der Öffentlichkeit zurückziehen möchte. So weit, so gut. Doch als Finn das erste Mal ein Video von dem Mann hört und sieht ist er faszinieren. Von der Stimme, von der Performance, von den Texten. Und dann steht er Ajax Craig leibhaftig gegenüber.
Ajax, erfolgreich und doch nicht abgehoben, ist des glamourösen Lebens etwas überdrüssig. Dazu kommt, dass er sich musikalisch ausprobieren möchte und er sich von seinem Freund getrennt hat. Nach einem Vertrauensbruch war die Beziehung nicht mehr aufrechtzuerhalten und Ajax braucht Abstand. Jedoch sind einige Fans ziemlich nervig und aufdringlich. Also braucht er einen Personenschützer.
Und dieser Personenschützer ist Finn. Ajax, der hinter den Glanz sehen kann, erkennt in Finn sofort ein paranormales Geschöpf.
Finn, der keine Beziehungen eingeht, fühlt sich sofort von Ajax angezogen. Und auch dieser spürt dieses Knistern zwischen ihnen. Jedoch baut sich ihre Beziehung erst langsam auf. Sie lernen sich kennen und öffnen sich einander. Dabei sind ihre Lebensgeschichten doch sehr unterschiedlich und auch ihre Zukunft. Wäre da nicht die Tatsache, dass sich Ajax als Finns Seelengefährte herausstellt. Eine großartige Entwicklung für Finn, der sich nun bereit für seinen unendlichen Gefährten fühlt.
Doch Ajax ist eine Person der Öffentlichkeit. Und bei einer Allianz mit einem paranormalen Wesen würde er nicht altern!
Eine wirklich nette Geschichte. Die Helden fand ich sympathisch und der Crime Anteil war eher gering. Das war okay für mich. Jedoch hatte ich dann am Ende das Gefühl, dass da noch ein paar Seiten fehlen würden. Und zumindest ein Erzählstrang wurde erst gar nicht aufgelöst. Das fand ich dann am Ende schon etwas schade.

Sweet,quick read
Finn the jinn is assigned to a rock star who can see beyond the glamour…another soulmate pairing. The assignment starts as protecting Ajax from fans but eventually a real danger develops.
It’s a quick read with a sweet “gift of the magi” type of near conclusion until our very smart ogre friend points out an obvious possible solution. I sincerely hope we are eventually going to get Xavier’s story as it seems like it would be a good one. We get another breadcrumb of a clue in this book. Looking forward to the next book.

Super fun, super fast reads. I love these books. Just what you need to wind down after a heavy read. Short, sweet, sexy. Finn and Ajax were great together. There was instant attraction, some mild angst, a little peril and a happily ever after. These books could be so much more if the author took the time to write more plot, deeper characters, but they are what they are and I love them just the same. Points deducted for mixing up character names - that's unforgivable.

Great book, I read it in one sitting and boy, it was a page turner, I could not put the book down. It was suspenseful, steamy, heart pounding and towards the end sweet. I loved it along with Finn and Ajax! Looking forward to Dax’s book next!

Heartfelt
A beautiful love story of two kind men who felt immediate attraction the first moment they met. This story felt as if you were on the sideline watching Ajax and Finn’s love develop. I know Dax love story will be just as compelling as this book was to read.
