It’s Christmastime. It has been a year since your Nan passed away. Then, as you sit drinking wine, you hear her voice calling to you. You try to ignore it, but your grief…it just won’t let you.
In this haunting short story from author Hayden Robinson, experience the power that loss can have on everyone and why holding on to mourning a loved one’s death can hurt the most.
Hayden Robinson is an English writer. He writes mainly in horror and poetry. His themes often focus on overcoming trauma and neurodivergent characters. He currently lives in Decatur, GA with his wife, their dog and their two cats.
I'm not sure how to mark this book. I wish it was longer though to know the main character whomever it is and to see who Nan was. I'm a curious reader, I love stories with a lot longer passage. I can say this if you need a quick read. Go for this one. I can't wait to read what is next from Hayden. A story that is enjoyable and heartbreaking.
Hayden's ghost story is a touching tale of grief and how its lasting effects can become too much to bear. Thoughtfully written, this one will tug at the heart strings.
