This sequel did not disappoint. The stakes were higher, the moral tension was real, and honestly, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I loved how it pushed the characters to face the consequences of everything that went down in Cupid’s Compass. Blake, Nessie, Jaylynn, and Charity each had such intense moments, and I felt all their inner conflict. Venus was perfectly unhinged in that divine, terrifying way, and her challenges were twisted and brilliant. I also really liked Nylah’s arc, watching them navigate the Fates Followers added a whole new layer to the story that caught me off guard (in the best way). The whole vibe of the book is darker, deeper, and more emotionally charged. If you liked book one, this one pulls you even further into the chaos and makes you question everything you thought you believed about soulmates and fate.
