This was such a spicy read with a beautiful and wholesome ending. I think the setting is really cool, with Rey taking certain liberties with the ancient Greek historical context and setting. If you can suspend your disbelief for under 30 pages, you'll be rewarded! I had an awesome time reading this. After a hard day of manual labour, Hypatos stumbles upon Dionysus's altar and presents them with an offering. Their delicious encounter leaves them both satisfied, and gives Hypatos a renewed sense of self when he leaves their temple. I really liked the dynamic between Hypatos and Dionysus in this story, and they flowed together so seamlessly. The fact that Dionysus was a god and Hypatos a mortal added a forbidden but decadent element to the story. This was really great, and a pretty easy yet spicy read, and I can't wait to see what else Rey has in store for us!

A delicious and decadent short story that would have Dionysus themself overjoyed to read. Rey Rider does an excellent job of writing a power dynamic that is very much there, but not toxic or cruel. The immersion into the story felt just like reading a greek myth, and I felt excited to know what comes next at every page.
