this was such a quick and straight to the point read !! absolutely add this if you’re feeling in the mood for a fast paced mafia romance, palette cleanser 🖤

isla is an uprising prima ballerina who was at the wrong place and the place time. after a kickass performance she decided to say a few words backstage before everyone left but by the time she made it back there everyone was already gone. or so she thought 👀 isla stumbled upon the man they call the devil unaliving someone backstage. this man, vincent moretti is not one to leave loose ends. so when his obsession witnesses something he should’ve been more alert of, mans ran right after her 🤭 now that the ballerina is locked in her cage at the devil’s house, isla struggles to find the line between falling for him or plotting her escape. but she already sealed her fate when she agreed to dance for the devil ❤️‍🔥

the pacing of this book was definitely fast which i really enjoyed for a quick read !! i love the ballerina x mafia man trope so much and this was giving so much potential 😩 there were a few places where information or the scene just didn’t fit / went too fast. but other than that i loved getting to know vincent and isla 🥹

i really liked how the ending was !! it left room for the plot to be dragged on to the next books in the series while giving it a hea for vincent and isla 🫶🏼

… Stays in Vegas. So do some people, especially the ones who kidnapped and trapped in a gilded cage.

Morally gray is my favorite shade of alpha, and Flora serves up a perfect one here. She always writes strong women who aren’t afraid to challenge and clash with the MMCs, which I love. And the steam that pours off these two is 🔥 — another hallmark of a Flora tale.

Flora will always be one of my favorite instalove authors, and this book is going in my re-read pile. And this is only book one! I’m so looking forward to meeting the next contender for best book bad boy.

so I saw this book listed as a new release I decided to take the jump to read it even though it looks like a lot of the reviews are Arc reviews.


so I'm not 100% sure if the MMC is in other books but it's not listed in the blurb but I did see other reviews when I was skimming through saying that they were looking forward to his story so I'm assuming that he might be in another one but this is book one of the series so I am unsure there.

so the story starts with the FMC running through vegas? heading towards the belly dancing? show that she's headlining but she has 15 minutes to get there because she lost track of time practicing at home. but there's also a madame of the show house. I don't know a lot about this type of entertainment specifically in books but it had this weird like a Vegas showgirl / ballet Vibes even though it's supposed to be belly dancing I think I don't know it just felt like they were trying to mash up all of those things especially since she was wearing a tutu during her performance I think. but anyways she's running to the venue and she gets stopped by two guys that were being dicks but Saved By The Madame of the playhouse who basically ran away from the lady. after the show she goes into the wing of the stage even though she thought most of the people I left she heard someone and thought it was another dancer and was going to go over and congratulate them but she sees someone dead on the ground and the MMC standing over him. she decides to run and he drugs her and brings her back to his Casino and makes her stay in one of the rooms there in his space even though he lives somewhere else. there is absolutely no connection between the two characters other than he's kind of hot looking. the FMC has a somewhat tragic background if I remember correctly her mom died at 13 years old of a heart attack and then she was put into a group home and when she went to foster homes one of them was with another female foster and the other girl was sex trafficked but she was okay and it's just like a random like little blurb in there so I don't know if it's talked about more later.

Their journey is enthralling with the Devil of Vegas, mature, explicit romance that is consumed by steamy, sizzling passion, lust, desire, and spice with all the feelings to leave readers breathless and begging for more, he fired one shot, I saw everything, now, I dance for the Devil of Vegas, drama, heartfelt emotions, suspense that will leave readers on the edge of their seats, forced proximity, tangled hearts, sinful hands, action, adventure, and more. Isla thought her day couldn’t get any worse after she was late getting to work and then she was nearly sexually assaulted by two men just before she got there, but luck wasn’t in her favour, as she witnessed an incident that put her life in danger. Vincent would usually have killed anyone that witnessed what his did, so he couldn’t understand whey he felt compelled to kidnap Isla and keep her in captivity.

Isla’s upbringing made it difficult for her to trust people, which led to a battle of wills between herself and Vincent. However, Isla soon accepted her fate as she spent more time with Vincent, which led to their attraction for each other growing. Unfortunately, the dark side of Vincent’s life kept crossing the line, which led to Isla’s life being in serious danger and she also nearly lost her life. Vincent decided to take precautions that would reduce the possibility of danger in their lives, but this action led to a consequence that he never expected.

Wowza! I started reading this book and found myself totally spellbound by the story and unable to take a break until I read the final word. I am sat here wondering how on earth I survive reading this book, as at times I felt myself shaking like a leaf in a windstorm waiting on tenterhooks to see what would happen next. Nevertheless, I am really happy I get to do that all over again with the rest of the books in the series.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Isla didn’t have the best life growing up left her with trust issues grew to be one of the best ballet dancers who worked hard to obtain her position on stage however, she saw something she shouldn’t have and now her life is taken a turn that she didn’t see or want. Vincent sexy as all get out Don with a reputation proceeding him of being the devil he isn’t a man you want to cross or one you want on your radar, he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, will protect those he cares for and usually takes out all witness why he didn’t eliminate her well that is the ultimate question he keeps asking himself so kidnapping her is his only option. They aren’t compatible in anyway or maybe they are and she isn’t willing to see it until they are forced to spend time they see each other really see each other but his life has a way of touching you and not is the gentle way but will he keep her safe, will she get back to her life or has it changed forever, will his enemies come for her to get to him, and is thee any form of happiness for the two of them considering their beginning?

Vincent & Isla: The Devil and the Dancer

A great first book! I loved the plot, the characters, the action and the behind-the scenes danger. Isla, a promising, captivating ballet dancer witnesses something that she shouldn’t backstage. Vincent, known as “the Devil”, a powerful Mafia Don and the owner of one of the most prominent casinos takes her as a captive. He is intrigued and confused by her. She is not the lamb he thought she was. She has inner strength and fighting spirit. It doesn’t take long for him to fall for her – and fall hard. But so does she. However, danger lurks in every corner – there are people who will stop at nothing in order to obtain what Vincent has – his empire. Hardcore enemies, enemies masked as friends, attempts against both their lives – this book had it all. The ending is a mild cliffhanger – the confrontation and hunting of Vincent’s empire brings the real threat forward. But who is really behind everything? I can tell you that I can speculate, but can only confirm my suspicions in the next book, which I can’t wait to get into my hands! 4 stars

She is a dancer at a prestigious, ballet theater company. One night as she’s leaving, she accidentally stumbles onto something she shouldn’t see. He is a mafia King, and when she sees something she shouldn’t have he takes her. He initially isn’t sure what he’s going to do with her, but he quickly becomes fascinated with her beauty and her tenacity with mafia drama still rife around him. He keeps her safely away from danger. He quickly realizes he does not ever want to let his pretty ballerina go, and she is also falling in love with him. There is mafia family drama that runs through the story, that they must navigate. I found some of the transitions to be a little rough and awkward and didn’t have the best flow, including the end jump to the epilogue. Well, they do get their happily ever after it seems that there is going to be more to the mafia storu arc as some of the mafia drama is left unresolved. Well, I enjoyed aspects of their characters. This was not my favorite story of the genre.

Dancing into his heart

Devil of Vegas is the first book of the Tangled Hearts, Sinful Hands series. I adored this wonderful book. The story is about ballet dancer Isla Hart and the Mafia boss of all of Vegas, Vincent Moretti. It all starts when Isla is in the right place but at the wrong time. She is back stage getting ready to go on she sees Vincent shoot a man. He could easily kill her too but instead he takes her with him back to his penthouse with strict orders that she is not to leave and there is no contacting anyone either. Vincent is cold, calculating, ruthless and dangerous. But when he sees Isla there is just something that stirs in him which he needs to figure out. What he quickly discovers is that she is his one weakness in life and he will never be able to let her go. Now she will dance for him alone, and then dance in his bed also.

Devil of Vegas is Book 1 of the Tangled Hearts, Sinful Hands series. It's a steamy, enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract, age-gap, forced-proximity, dancer gets her mafia man dark romance. This one is darker to me than some of Flora's other books so be sure to read the trigger warnings. Isla is a ballet dancer who witnesses a murder. Vincent is the mafia kingpin who pulled the trigger. Normally, he would kill any witnesses, but he kidnaps Isla instead, holding her hostage in his penthouse. Someone wants to dethrone Vincent from his Vegas throne, but who? As these two spend time together, the attraction grows. Their chemistry is hot and they do end on a happy note, but there is an overarching storyline with the mafia that is unresolved and a bit of a cliffhanger. I look forward to the next book.

A wonderful story which has drama, suspense, intrigue, thrills, action and a steamy romance which is also a page turner as well as having outstanding characters amongst its pages.
A story about two people who have lost so much and have endured alot finding one another. During their time together they grow closer. She overhears things that she shouldn’t have heard.
Throughout the story there’s betrayal that he can’t see but is still there. After getting her back and announcing that they love one another to celebrate he has a party. The party ends in death and she fights for her life. Getting better she answers his question.
At the end he takes his now wife away from the city. Even though he’s gone he finds out that someone is trying to take what’s his.

This is book one in the author’s new Tangled Hearts, Sinful Hands series and features Vincent Moretti, a mafia king with a deadly reputation and Isla, a ballet dancer on the verge of getting her big break.

Being at the wrong place at the wrong time COULD have been her epitaph when she was caught witnessing a murder but instead, Isla found herself a prisoner in a gorgeous penthouse held by none other than the cold blooded unaliver himself.

This one had tons of drama but was also kinda sweet with the dangerous mafia king unable to bring himself (or allow anyone else) to hurt her. Fans of mafia romance are gonna go nuts over this book! Totally recommend, 4.5 stars!.

Vincent is the head of the mafia and knows the danger of leaving any witnesses. The feelings he has for Isla are complicated and the more time he spends with her the more intriguing she becomes however the danger of his lifestyle is never far away.

Isla and Vincent take us on a action packed adventure filled with suspense, surprises and steam as they try to create a life that will give them both what they need.

Vincent and Isla met when she witness something she shouldn't have. To buy himself some time and figure out what he will do with her, he takes her. Soon he is obsessed with her and can't let her go. With the family drama ,and a few other thing they get the HEA but you know this story isn't finished yet.

Starting a new series is hard, it sets the tone for the rest of the books. B/c if no one enjoys the first book they won't want to read the rest. I felt like this was a rough start , I will read the next book and hope it goes more smoothly.

Devil of Vegas 1 book from Tangled Hearts, Sinful Hands.

Isla is a ballerina who loves to dance. Vincent is the mafia boss. Their story started off roughly but with time everything changed. Everyone call him "The Devil" but no ones know why he became like this. With times everything unravel. This book was so good. I’ve literally was on edge while reading this book. Now I can’t wait for next one and the way it ended. Gosh Flora what you did with my head.

A kind of beauty and the devil story. Vincent is a mafia boss and is also sometimes called the devil in the corridors and he is very proud of it, the reason why everyone and also his people are afraid of him. Isla is very different in contrast. She is a ballerina and does what she wants most but it does not go well for long when she meets Vincent and with him she is dragged into the dark side and disappears nicely. A wonderful story that I definitely recommend reading.

This story is quite suspenseful and somewhat dark. There is a lot of action and several twists that keep you on the edge of your seat. Isla is a ballerina on the verge of stardom when she witnesses a murder. Vincent locks Isla in his penthouse after what she saw him do. The plot is intense and full of steam. Be ready, though; it does end with a bit of a cliffhanger. Still, it’s a great book, and I'm looking forward to the next in this series.

This is Book 1 in the Tangled Hearts, Sinful Hands Series by this author. It is a steamy age gap, enemies to lovers romance between Isla and Vincent. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an interesting read. What starts out as a kidnapping turns into something more. It is a love story with drama and steam, danger and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. An emotional ride.

Vincent and Isla story was an good read. It was hooked from the beginning to the end. I loved that way they danced around each other and tried to deny the attraction. I think it was harder for Vincent to fight it because Isla made him see things and himself in a different light. It's hard to remain the Devil of Vegas when you fall in love with a ballerina. It likes Isla's strengh through it all. Although she was scared, she didn't let Vincent see it and pushed back on him. When they finally gave it, it was a beautiful thing. I can't wait to see how the series unfolds.

Isla is a ballerina who loves every part of dancing and has dreams. Vincent is the mafia boss who everyone calls "The Devil" and he loves the name.
Witnessing what Vincent is capable of, Isla gets pulled into a world of danger and intrigue. Finding herself the obsession of the Vincent the man she needs to stay away from. Soon it becomes a two way street.

Isla is a rather young and innocent ballerina who sees something she is not supposed to and the mafia boss Vincent does not kill her, but takes her to his estate. First she feels caged but then other feelings become more prominent. Will their be love in such a dark environment?

The heart pounding story keeps us turning the pages with danger, secrets, connection, realizations and steam. The story ends with a mini cliffhanger which, hopefully, leads us to the next book in the series.
