This story had such a strong emotional core—I was really drawn in by the author's struggle with identity and family during his young years. Great references to popular media from the 80's and 90's
The pacing worked well overall, and the writing voice is authentic and engaging. Loved all the quotes throughout the book that also gave you a sense into the author's mind and story.
