I’ve been a fan of Ivy Blacke for a couple of years, and I love her writing skill, style, and storytelling. However, when she told me she was going to write a four-book series on the Ladies of the Mafia, I knew we were in for a treat. And was I ever right! Lealta: The Ladies of the Mafia Book One, is a wild, seductive ride and once again, I find myself addicted to Ivy’s writing style. I’ve read other Mafia books in the past, but no one can tell a story like Ivy. Isabella is a storm to be reckoned with, and she will stop at nothing to get her way… until she is set to be married to Tomas. She fights almost all the way to the alter, but then she is enlightened to how and why her life is laid out for her. Though she was fighting hard to rebel and be her own person, she couldn’t deny the love she’s always had for Tomas, even as teenagers, and she finally gives in to her now husband. To her surprise, at him and herself for allowing it, he quickly shows her that she can still be her own person, but as a wife to a powerful man, she still needs to be faithful, respectful, and loyal to him and the Familia. It was so much fun watching (reading) this power couple become more powerful as they learn each other’s desires and passions… especially when Tomas see how much Bella loved interrogating and torturing those that turned on the family, almost to the point of arousal that would sicken any other family. This was a whirlwind of a book, and I highly recommend it to anyone! Can’t wait to read Book Two!

Enticing and intriguing
This is the first novel I've read by indie author Ivy Blacke but will not be the last. The raw emotion, erotica, heart and soul Ivy pours into Lealta is clear from page one. It is unfathomable, the life and choices main character Isabella is forced to live, yet the creative writing style of the author allows me to escape reality and live Isabella's life each time I pick up the book. I feel her strength, her fight, her stubbornness; her attraction to and love for Tomas that she tries to deny. Her love for her father. And her dedication to the familia.
"I hate that my whole life has been led by someone. Why is it I cannot do what I wish?"
This question, this statement, by Isabella holds such truth, such depth, such anguish, to feel your life's decisions, plans and future have been laid out by others can only lead to wanting more for yourself!
The twists built into the story, are so captivating, so overwhelming, I was challenged to be brought back to reality, to move on with joining my own life again. This is exactly the style of writing that I am able to get lost in, to be fully absorbed in, losing sight of everything around me!
As Isabella and Tomas's relationship and bond forms, the story is enticing and erotic, with just enough intrigue that I have been kept not only aroused but guessing what's going to happen next, my heart racing, my body hot! From beginning to end, this novel is intense, spicy, and engaging! Highly recommend!

I love a good mafia romance.
This book did not disappoint. The story played like a movie in my mind. The characters were well developed, while I thought in the beginning Isabella was a little over the top with her sass, she matured into an even stronger, more structured version of herself. This was my first book by this author, but not my last. Well done!

Loveeee this new era Ivy Blacke’s in 😌
This books give you all the mafia romance vibes you didn’t know you needed. Tomas has been infatuated with Lealta from afar for years. However her head strong character will get in the way of things, making him look weak to the familia. How can he teach her the ways of the family and teach her loyalty is super important? Just like his love for her.

truly enjoyed reading the evolution of Isabella with Tomss'help. This Mafia themed book nailed the naaf8a aspect with some spice and mystery.

Wow!! Ivy outdid herself with this one. It seriously brought the heat 🥵I always love a good mafia story, Tomas and Bella were a force to be reckoned with, power couple to the max and spicy, good lord!! Grape has always been my favorite flavor 🤣♥️ I can’t wait for the book 2!

This is the tumultuous story between Bella and Tomas. But like any storm, it must come to an end, and the sun will shine again.
Tomas has loved Bella from afar for years. Hes watched her pine for other guys and said nothing. Now she's in his house and they are getting married, because her father has had enough of her trouble. Tomas will NOT force her to do anything, but can he win her over? She's grown up in the family and knows what is expected of her. She'll play the part, but she won't give in without going toe to toe with him. When things get tough and Bella has to step up. Will things change for them? For the better?
This has to be a joke. Right? There's no way she is marrying Tomas. No way! Tomas is kind and gentle with her, he never forces her. However when the crap hits the fan, she's told the truth. That Tomas has loved her for years!! Now she needed to step up, because if she was being honest with herself she was falling for him too. Only now they might not get the chance at a future. How can she fix this???
Bella is difficult to like at the beginning. She's a brat, I hated her. Then she grows up and becomes a woman instead of a girl.

What a great read! Not gonna lie it took me quite a few chapters to like Bella, but once she got her bearings and her act together she was definitely a force. Tomas thought she was perfect before, once she found her footing, she was absolutely perfect for him. These two are definitely a force to be reckoned with, and the attraction they have to one another will definitely heat up your pages. Can't wait for book two!
