Can a love born of violence stand the test of time? Despite a less than ideal start to their marriage, Mishca and Lauren are finally in a place where they do not have to look over their shoulders at every turn. Now that they are in a secure place, it's time for them to have the one thing Mishca had promised her before they took their vows. A honeymoon... Traveling to the sandy beaches of Sardinia, Italy, the couple will explore what brought them together in the first place, instead of the life that constantly threatens to tear them apart. But as the newly appointed Boss of the Volkov Bratva, is it too late for Mishca to have an even remotely normal life...and is Lauren ready to face another challenge that neither of them saw coming...

I loved this extra addition to the series. This is a quick and light read about Lauren and Mischa. You'll also see some of the characters from the prior books.
I was a little let down by this extended epilogue. The writing was still good, but felt let down by Lauren. I loved her independence, and how she didn't fall easily into the role of typical mob significant other. That ends in this installment for me. Still likable, but very basic.
Time Stood Still (Volkov Bratva #3.5) By: London Miller 4/5 stars
Mishca & Lauren have been married but have yet to take their honeymoon, since Lauren had to cancel all their plans after he was shot on their wedding day. Of course, all the drama and action that followed the shooting took time to sort out, especially more so after Mishca became the head pahkan of the Volkov Bratva. Mishca is the newest top boss of all the branches of the criminal organization and is one of the youngest to ever head it up.
Lauren is still planning on going to medical school. Mishca’s sister Alex is still around and being a major pain in Luka’s butt. Klaus, Mishca’s long-lost, mercenary twin brother, is also still around, mainly to watch over Lauren and to annoy Mishca. He’s still funny and enjoys giving Mishca & Luka hell and calmly threatening to kill them.
The funniest line ever is when Luka is talking to Mishca & tells him, “You had the audacity to get shot on her wedding day!” But finally, Mishca & Lauren get to take their honeymoon to Sardinia in Italy. They enjoy alone time with each other, time spent relaxing, and not having to worry about looking over their shoulders and being bombarded with phone calls & meetings.
The real world invades when they get home, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens in the spin-off series that we get for Luka & Klaus.
There are several grammar errors, some, where a wrong word is used or letters are left off of words, in one place a sentence was written but the original was still left in place. At one point a small side character was given two different names. Small errors, but they added up.
If you love Mishca & Lauren, especially like me, you’ll love this story, and can’t wait to see them again, and hopefully soon!
Now that I,ve finished books 1-3.5 I will express my review, the series is brilliant ,I was hooked from book 1 however throughout the books there is editing problems from missed words to typing mistakes, also at one point in book 3 Lauren helps a women in the club but I can,t tell you wether her name is Christina or Stephanie as one minute she was referred as Christina the next Stephanie ? However even with the editing issues it did,nt deter me from enjoying the series and I will continue reading it . This book ..3.5 left me with unanswered questions like who is Gavin ? What did he have to do with mish telling Lauren to remember that he loves her because he will sacrifice everything to protect her and Alex ? Considering this is the end of Lauren's and mish,s story per se I'm just hoping the answers will be in the next book which is Luke and Alex,s story
>Book review – Time Stood Still >I am an independent reviewer. This novella is the 3.5 in the Volkov Bratva series and ends in an HEA. The honeymoon! Lauren and Mishca finally go on a honeymoon after Lauren’s mom and Ross get married. The gruff way Ross treats Mishca is hysterical. A new couple with angst is introduced; Alex and Luka. Klaus is contemplating joining Mishca as Mishca puts together his regime. >Lauren and Mishca are solid together, but so many questions are unanswered regarding surrounding characters. There are threats all over. This story really keeps you on the edge of your seat. The last scene is so sweet. >This novella is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this novella 5 stars.
Sets the stage for the book about Luka and Alex and I can't wait to read it. Lauren got on my nerves a bit in this one. I understand that she is an independent woman "but for the love that is all holy" woman when you are part of their world you have to trust what they say and at times as difficult as it may be just do what they say for your own protection. I do love the relationships she has with Luka and Klaus. I was just as surprised as Lauren was with Luka's behaviour - he hasn't been so brash in the other books. Things just keep on getting more interesting with Klaus and I'm still wondering who is his next contract????
Way to start the New Year! I wanted a series that I could loose myself in and this was it. It had so much depth. I love Lauren and Mischa beginning to end romance. It was not rushed. It was complicated but the power of love trumped every bad thing they came up against. This was a slow burn that let you get so engaged with the characters leaving you yearning for more. Can’t wait to read Luca story. 5⭐️’s

As the saga continues, the love between these two continues to grow and grow. I love that we got what we wanted at the end of the last book. I love how the characters outside of the main two are beginning to have their own back story and they are mingling well within the book.
Those who have complained about alauren and Mish never getting enough sexy time in during the last 3 books will be happy 😄 this was a cute check in on the couple as they finally take their long awaited honeymoon in scenic Italy and make a surprising (or not really) discovery upon their return home.
Susan y Ross por fin dan El Paso y se casan, después de la boda Mish se lleva a Lauren de luna de miel a Italia donde pasan unos días de ensueño y al volver ella descubre que está embarazada. Un libro bonito y sin drama.
Nice bridge between books. Not much happens as it's just while on Mishca and Lauren are on their honeymoon. Defiantly helps to read before Luca and Alex's story.
This was a bit of a fluff thing but I really enjoyed it since I loved Mischa & Lauren so much. Honeymoons are always fun. And there’s some brief Klaus content in here too, which I liked.
